I was referred to this location by a friend and was not disappointed. They took my dental insurance which was great. I have a severe overbite and was told that surgery was my only option. After coming to Dr.Robles for my initial consultation, I was convinced this was the right place for me. He was very informative of an Herbst Device that would correct my overbite and also included braces in my treatment. He explained thoroughly how the device worked, how long the treatment would be, and assured me off all the problems and complications I would encounter would be temporary. I love the Dr. Robles always checks up on me when I come in every month. At other dentist offices you just deal with the dental assistant replacing your wires and your bands. Dr. Robles always makes his way into my room and talks to me about my progress and improvement. Here, everyone greets you when you walk in and knows you by name. Always asks how you're doing and if there have been any problems from the last time they saw you. The receptionist, Monica, is always so nice and everyone working there just really makes you feel like home. I live in Los Angeles and I drive past hundreds of dentists offices just to make it to Baldwin Park to see Dr. Robles because it's definitely worth the hour drive to get there in traffic. They have a huge parking lot that I have never seen filled which I LOVE. Because I hate looking for parking. I love the cute little molar chairs for children that I sit on for fun. I love the progress I have made and how Dr. Robles has reversed the damage that Western Dental has caused on my teeth. Family practices are the way to go and this place definitely proves that.

I called ahead specifically to ask if they perform wisdom tooth extractions, and they said yes. It was a complete waste of time and money. 1. Outdated Equipment: Their X-ray machine is ancient. The sensor kept falling out of my mouth, and they ended up taking a Full Mouth Series (FMS) of small individual shots instead of a proper Panoramic X-ray needed for wisdom teeth. When I went to the specialist they referred me to, those X-rays were useless, and I had to pay for new ones. 2. Questionable/Lazy Medical Advice: I have two lower wisdom teeth that are growing horizontally, literally pushing into my adjacent teeth. Any decent dentist knows this causes long-term damage, yet the dentist here claimed they "don't need to be pulled." It felt like he just didn't want to deal with the procedure. 3. The "Bait-and-Switch": For my upper wisdom tooth, he suddenly claimed they don't perform extractions there and referred me out. Why tell me you do extractions over the phone, charge me $120 for a consultation and bad X-rays, only to tell me you can't help me once I'm in the chair? 4. Poor Service: Getting my own digital records was a struggle. I had to call multiple times just to get the images I paid for. They are clearly more interested in collecting consultation and X-ray fees than actually helping patients. If you need honest dental work and modern technology, stay far away from this office.

His consultation is a rush job it is always about 15 minutes in and out of his office. Any Orthodontic Dentist or Doctor would take their time and listen to your concerns and not rush you out. I'm Vietnamese and I know most Asians are about financial gain and not about health. We took the dentures to another Orthodontic Implant specialist and were told that the dentures were not aligned properly my Mom was in pain due to being poorly made.
