The kitchen table wouldn't fit into the apartment door, so I had the genius idea of taking the door off of the hinges. Of course it wouldn't go back on. We spent hours calling handymen, but couldn't get a hold of anyone. Just when we were about to give up hope, I called ballard Lock and Key. Every door in our house seemed to operate with a different key (some of which had been misplaced) so I called Ballard Lock to replace some bad hardware and get things matched up. They were able to come out the next day, and a clean, friendly, professional locksmith showed up at my door, on time. Amazing!!!!! I needed a new car remote made and programmed! I was instructed to call Justin, who came out to my house that same day. Not only did he make me the copies of the keys I needed, programmed, he also fixed my busted lock I didn't originally call about. (I just never knew that was a service they did. Arranged this morning for someone to come change a lock at our house at 4:30 this afternoon. We're in kind of a sticky situation and really needed the work done today. Anyway, no one was here at 4:30, so I called the company. A very nice woman told me that she could not reach either of the two guys who would have been assigned the house, either by text or by phone. She was very sorry, but she had no explanation for me, other than to say that she saw our house was on the schedule. She asked me whether I would like to reschedule. Why would I want to do that? If the company is unreliable today, why would it be reliable tomorrow? Glad so many other people have had good experiences with this company. We did not. I locked my keys and phone in my car while getting gas the other day. The gas station attendant helped me call about four different locksmiths, all which were about 30+ minutes out.
