Fantastic! I'm not lying when I say I had the best chicken Caesar salad of my life! I was on a solo trip, so I made reservations for lunch once I landed. The vibe and ambiance is awesome! I sat at the bar and had wonderful servers on the afternoon of 2/8. The superbowl was on later in the day, so I know they were prepping for that. The food! Again, best chicken Caesar salad ever. It was huge and I ate the entire thing. The wine is nice and cold and only 10.00 for a glass of cold Chardonnay. A couple days later I came back to relax before my flight. I ordered the beignets which were amazing and a glass of wine for the road. I placed a to-go order for the Caesar with dressing on the side to take home to Vegas and I ordered my husband the flat iron steak. They wrapped it very nice for the plane and we both enjoyed it when I arrived home. I can not wait to come back in August.

This bar is situated between two pools in Disneyland hotel. We were trying to go to broken spell lounge, but that was completely filled up. The hostess directed us over here. We got here and they told us the waiting time was about 20 minutes. I think we waited only 15 minutes by the pool. It was kind of fun and chill sitting here and watching everybody play by the pool. It's a chill environment compared to the Disneyland parks. So the problem of this bar is it creates a tunnel for the wind. I think during winter time this place might be too cold, but since it's summer, it's actually very breezy thus called Palm breeze bar. So beware if you come during cooler times it might be too cold. The other thing to be aware of is the waiting time for the food. We guess the kitchen might be far on the other side of the hotel because they always bring a wheeled cart with the food. And by the time the food gets to us, it's lukewarm. We ordered: Kale salad with quinoa and few blueberries. Our chicken was missing. Told waitress. Came later. This was good. Grill Chicken breast came later. I thought it looked dry, but surprisingly it wasn't. The tuna tartar didn't look like the picture, but I think there might be too confusing tuna entrées, or appetizers that are mixed up. For the price I just felt like it was really small portion. The palm burger was really good. It was thick. I ate it before we could take a picture of this is how good it was. It came with a side of fries and ketchup. For dessert who ordered the benet. But in the picture on the menu, they had 3 Mickey shaped dipping sauces. And if you could see from my picture, our dish was missing the Mickey shape. I was so sad But our waitress was gracefully enough to take it off our order. Thank you so much. Sidenote, even though I didn't order any alcohol, I didn't notice they had Halloween theme drinks. They look very tempting, but I didn't want to add more calories I think this is a great place to relax and chill watching the games or coming over after swimming in the pool, but if you're hungry, and want really hot food very fast this place isn't it. This is more chilling with your friends and chatting with your family and enjoying the relaxing poolside experience. Do I recommend this place and would I come again? Yes if we're not too hungry and we are looking for a place to chill. Forgot to mention parking is $35 for Disneyland Park. I think it's more expensive for Disneyland hotel. Maybe I'm not really sure.

This is a nice option if you are staying on property. I always appreciate how Disney offers options for people with dietary restrictions. I am gluten-free and it was nice to be able to grab a sandwich. We sat at the bar, service was super friendly, and quick. The sandwich was good and served with fruit. Prices are "Disney" prices, so don't be surprised. On hotter days when the pool is busier, so is the restaurant, but we came early in the day, so no wait at all.

impromptu day date at the Disneyland Hotel. Put our name on the waitlist at Trader Sam's and decided to check this place out while we waited. Thank goodness for the signs otherwise it would have been very difficult to find it. It is tucked away at a pool I never knew about (maybe it's new?). The decor is fabulous retro Palm springs vibe. LOVE! we were seated quickly without a reservation. the server was so busy yet she made time to be more than friendly. We each ordered one drink and an appetizer to share App: Fallafel and fattoush...it was delicious! my only gripe is clearly says crispy pita as first part of description..there was no pita...the "pita" is tiny pieces as a "crouton" ...so we had dips without the pita to dip in it...although the flavors were amazing this is a major issue.... would have been nice to have SOMETHING...if not pita then sliced cucumbers or something. drinks tulum time & dessert sour...both spectacular! we were done and headed to Broken Spell for stop #2...

The Palm Breeze Bar can be a little tricky to find but once you do it's a nice surprise. It's the Villa's pool bar located next to the Discovery Tower and has plenty of bar and table seating. There are TVs to watch your favorite games and the menu is pretty extensive. I have only ordered drinks the couple of times I've gone and they have all been delicious. The service is prompt and Jeremy our bartender makes great cocktails. He made a substitution for me on one drink which I appreciated and enjoyed very much! Hence the name the bar is always breezy almost feels like you are in a wind tunnel at times, so if you opt to visit in cooler temps come dressed accordingly. They do have heaters and you can ask for blankets, which I thought was a nice touch. Live music was playing when I stopped by which I really enjoyed. The duos were playing acoustic pop and r&b jams which created an awesome mood and ambiance. I recommend stopping by Palm Breeze for a snack, drink or both if in the area. It's also a great place to spend sometime while waiting to be called in to Trader Sam's (iykyk)

We truly love Palm Breeze, and it has become a favorite spot for us to grab a drink and/or meal. While the food offerings aren't as rich as Craftsman Bar, the prices are more reasonable. The service here has been consistently excellent, and their bartenders are some of the best on property as several rotate between here and Trader Sam's/Tangaroa Terrace. The mid century modern aesthetic is also wonderful.

The food was good, this eatery was not what I was expecting It was in the middle of two swimming pools. I would preferred more privacy. Maybe, there was limited staff, because it took forever for our server to take our order. I had the crab roll , it was very fresh and tasty. We had a mix up with s drink. So, for me, I probably would mot come unless , someone just insisted on going.

The Palm Breeze Bar is located within the Disney Hotel compound. It was a great reprieve from the busy park for a quiet and calm dinner. We got sat near a heater and our hostess was kind enough to bring extra blankets as well to help is stay more cozy on the cold night we came by to enjoy a nice meal to celebrate my birthday. Our server Sara was awesome and we took her up on her recommendation and ordered the charcuterie pizza (which was delicious), espresso martinis (excellent) and home cooked chips. As an added bonus our hostess was kind and offered up some buttons for us to customize to help us up level our celebration Highly recommend booking a table here if you want an alternative place to get a casual and calm meal for a change from the parks.

Great service with welcoming cast members. Space is very spacious and everyone is so attentive to your needs. Our bartender was so fun to talk with and made our time at the bar enjoyable. I had the blue bee's knees drink which was a very refreshing drink with a subtle hint of sweetness from the blueberry wine. Highly recommend getting the avocado & like hummus as the pita was SO good. Everything about this dish was incredible, the hummus mixed with avocado and a little hint of heat mixed with lime, paired with delicious warm pita and fresh sliced vegetables. If you're in the mood for pizza, get the charcuterie pizza. Pretty decent size to share and the flavor palate has a nice balance of salty and savory from the meats and sun dried tomatoes.

    Heirloom Beet Salad
    Matt J.

Palm Breeze has the fortunate distinction of being wonderful unto itself and not just by Disney standards (which have risen a lot, but are still a useful context). The Heirloom Beet Salad was a clear repeater with a light but clear flavor driven by Stracciatella (aka better Burrata). The beets themselves were roasted to perfection and the supporting cast of walnuts and herb vinaigrette were excellent. That said, there were some extraneous ingredients, namely the pickled beets, the citrus and the cucumbers. They all just happened to be on the plate without contributing. Also, I saw a single piece of kale even though it was listed as a fixing. Overall, the dish was great, but with a few tweaks it'd be a hall of famer. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was cheerful and the service was jovial. On an 80 degree evening, it's hard to imagine much better.

Service was amazing. The atmosphere is unique but is very close to the pool. We were able to walk up and order drinks while waiting for our table to be ready. The menu was expensive for pool food, but the food was very good.

Enjoyed some cocktails and a shareable on a Saturday evening recently. Short wait and plenty of seating. Staff, were friendly and made great recommendations. Special shout out to Kenia! The shareables are truly shareable, large portions, could easily serve 3 or more people. Drinks are a little pricey, but on par for Disney. Keep in mind seating is outdoors and it can be a bit "breezy" and cold. They have outdoor heaters and offer blankets to help. Although we didn't try much of the menu, we would eat and drink here again.

    Menu as of 2024

I made reservations for lunch and arrived about 20 mins early and they were able to sit me right away. All of the seating is located in-between two pool areas, so I could see how others thought it was really cold (especially in winter) but we were enjoying the breeze in 90 degree weather! There was a live band playing Disney songs and it overall it was very nice to be under shade watching the kids splash around or slide down the water slide. We got three food items and shared them: Spicy Crisp Chicken Sandwich ($23) - Zesty slaw, spicy aioli, bread and butter pickles with fries. I only had a bite, but this tasted pretty good! I didn't think it was spicy, and the chicken was fried nicely (juicy and tender). The fries had a bit of a crunch to them which made them taste really good. Lots of salt on the fries but I hit it a couple of times to make it less salty. Heirloom Beet Salad ($19) - Roasted and marinated beets, baby kale, cucumber, mozzarella, candied walnuts tossed in a herb vinaigrette. This was really good. The beets were of the red and yellow variety and were chunked into the salad. It also had thinly sliced radish shavings on top which added nice texture. I don't know about the mozzarella cheese - I think it gave me a stomach ache, but it tasted pretty good with the dish. The portion size was bigger than I thought making this dish worth it. Charcuterie Pizza ($24) - Cured prosciutto, pepperoni, sausage, sun dried tomatoes. This was really salty! The crust held all of the meat pretty well but it was a little too salty for me and my mom. The pizza was cooked perfectly though and there was a lot of cheese. I booked this online after seeing their menu, and not all of the menu items online was on the actual menu when we got there. For instance, online it says that they had a Salmon Filet Heirloom Beet Salad that I wanted to get but that wasn't offered on their menu.

We attended a special Chartreuse tasting event at Strong Water which was being held in honor of…read moreChartreuse week and Chartreuse Day 1605 (May 16), the annual celebration of Chartreuse's origins and history. The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!

Unfortunately, the inside of the Tiki Bar was closed for repairs/upgrades, but we ate on their very pleasant outdoor patio, and luckily, the weather was lovely. I'm not that into Hawaiian type food, no offense to Hawaiians whatsoever, so I found the menu to be a bit limiting. Since I just had a poke bowl the prior night, I didn't want another, even though it was probably what I would've ordered. Most other dishes were with pork, which I don't eat. Instead, I ordered chicken tenders, which is so NOT what I would EVER order, but I did on this day. The chicken was not overly greasy, and it had good flavor. The fries were even better. The poke bowl looked gorgeous, and the 3 others who got that said it was delicious, although not nearly as much salmon as they were hoping for... and it had way too much rice. (Those of us who had poke bowls from the previous night had loads of ahi tuna and the perfect amount of rice.) My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger, something I'd never get. Not a fan of bacon AT ALL. My grandchildren got the chicken tenders like their grandma. :-) We ate our food to being serenaded with live music on the patio. Nice touch. It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

It was 5 o'clock somewhere lol…read more This bar has prime real estate inside the great, Anaheim packing district. (The Anaheim packing district has private parking and it's easy to find a spot during the week. On the weekend, it's another story) You basically run right into the hammer bar when you enter from the main entrance. It's nothing fancy, gives off hipster vibes and is cool without trying to be cool. The two bartenders Josh and Xavier were amazing I came here around prime lunch time. I went and asked one of the bartenders, since they do not serve food if it was ok to bring some pastries inside and eat them with my drink. (There's a pastry place right next to the hammer bar) They said since it was a weekday and not busy I could bring something in. So I went and grabbed some food and sat there while drinking my drinks. They have bar seating and then they have hightop tables as well I asked them for some recommendations. Josh and Xavier both recommended The zombie (kept warning me that it was extremely strong. So I stayed away from that. Even though I'm confident I could handle it) The banana clip The pool noodle (I told them I needed it to be pretty / cool looking too, lol) I went with the pool noodle -Plantaray Pineapple Rum, Rhum J.M. Agricole, guava, apricot, lime and cava. AND, let me tell you, this was delicious AND looked amazing 10/10 Then I went with the banana clip- Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon, banana, mandarine, cinnamon, pineapple and lemon. 10/10, I loved it To be honest all the drinks sounded great. If I wasn't planning on going to other places and walking around the packing district, I would have just stayed at this bar and had a few more lol. Prices were extremely reasonable as well The service that Josh and Xavier provided was phenomenal 10/10. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all the questions I had They also have mocktails, beer and wine. I highly recommend coming here for a drink if you are coming to the Anaheim Packing district. Or stay here for a while. I could have definitely stayed longer and tried more. I'll definitely be back next time I am in the area (On the menu it says they offer gift cards. So it would be perfect for any friends that live by this place and appreciate a cool bar)

Great spot on the 2nd level of the Anaheim Packing District. Friendly bartenders, but they have…read moreseating around all sides, so they might take a little while to get you your drink. They were playing some great 90s tunes and watching them make drinks, talk a little shit, and have fun was great to watch! I only had a single beer (local lager that the bartender recommended) as I was waiting for a reservation at another spot, but I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area.

On our recent trip to Disneyland, and as guests of the Disneyland Hotel, I learned of The Broken…read moreSpell Lounge just a day prior to arrival in Anaheim. This is a lovely Sleeping Beauty forrested theme lounge, and while it is small, we had no issue in waiting for a table both times we visited this Lounge. We went to the Broken Spell on our day of arrival, and David was an excellent server! I already knew I was going to order the charcuterie pizza, and asked David for a recommendation on cocktails. David recommended the Raven's Wing, and the presentation and smokey flavor did NOT disappoint. The charcuterie pizza was delicious and large enough to satisfy the appetite of two people with leftovers. I also tried the Benevolent Fairy drink which comes in three seperate potion glasses and was so much fun. While it was a great drink, I preferred the Raven's Wing! Server David was very kind and very attentive, checking on us regularly to ensure a great experience. On our last day, we stopped in on our way to the airport so we had our luggage. We were immediately seated, and greeted by a server named Gloria. When she saw our bags, she thought we were just arriving, and gave a very detailed rundown of the cocktails and food. We were only there for one last round of the Raven's Wing cocktail, and were promptly served given our time constraints. I look forward to returning to The Broken Spell Lounge!

I had to take half to go. One son liked his fish 'n chips. The other super picky kid liked his chicken sandwich. The ambiance is nice. Cozy velour couches in pretty jewel tones and low lighting. I do wish they had some higher tables available for diners, but that's quibbling. It should be way more busy than it is. Good food that veers from the usual amusement park offerings is harder to find in the California parks than the Florida parks.
