Place was quick, service was prompt, food was yummy! It was super hot day so the restaurant itself was a little warm, but being able to relax with some good food and drinks was just what we needed. Will be back for some food and drinks in the future!

Service was fast and quick! Great attentive staff! The grapefruit Adult slushie hit the spot on this summery afternoon! The fish and chips were perfect for sharing! They had QR codes to pick and pay for your food! The service was great!

Food is delicious. Husband got BP Dawg, kiddo got a hamburger, and I got fish and chips. The fries are perfect. The lack of stars is for the lack of service. Took so long to get our order in, never got asked if we needed a refill on drinks. Mind you they have a 2 hour limit on their tables so sitting here waiting takes up that time. Ambience is chill, it isn't wild like most brewery/bars would get. Overall I'd come back for the food. The service needs to be cleaned up a bit.

We were originally going to go to Black Tap because I wanted a burger but I wasn't willing to wait in the super long line. Next door, at Ballast Point, the line was a little more manageable to wait and they have an exclusive menu for Magic Key Holders which I thought was really cool. We got the mussels and rockfish ceviche that was on the Magic Key Holder Exclusive Menu. Very underwhelming and disappointing - no flavor and very liquidy. Hard no all day long. I only took a bite or two and that was enough for me. BP Burger was mid. Average at best. I definitely had second thoughts about not waiting in line at Black Tap. I would have much preferred to eat there, but I'm glad I tried this place because I don't have to wonder if it's good or not. I know the answer now. The fries were the highlight for me. It was busy, but it was also a Saturday. There are definitely better choices in the area that I'd rather eat at. Food was eh. Service was eh.

This place is very good! The food was delicious, they have a wide range of drinks, and the atmosphere is awesome. There's inside and outside seating, with some of the inside seating facing Downtown Disney. The only reason I didn't rate it 5/5 is due to the service! Although they're all super nice, every time I've gone it has taken a LONG time to get their attention if we needed anything. My last time it took around 10 minutes to get the check. If you're here for Disneyland, it was a little difficult to eat here since it took a while - so just be mindful if you have any lightning lane time slots!

My wife and I were invited to join two other couples for dinner at this restaurant. My first impression was that this place looked like a fun place to dine. You check in on the first floor and either take the elevator or the stairs to the second floor, which is where the dining area and bar are located. The restaurant is very nice and large. Employees were extremely friendly and welcoming, and they even offer a gift shop selling t-shirts, hoodies, caps, etc., bearing the restaurant's name and logo. Once seated, we had a great view of a portion of downtown Disney down below. The seats were very comfortable, and the tables were fully stocked with condiments and other items. The menu offered so many delicious-sounding options. I decided on a Cobb salad plus an order of fries, and a beer, while my wife has a personal-sized cauliflower-based pizza. Both of our meals were PERFECT!! They were tasty, fresh, and well-prepared. The rest of our group had numerous other food items, and they were all as satisfied and happy with their choices as we were. The service we received from our waiter was GREAT as he was attentive and friendly. The vibe here is relaxed and fun. We can't wait to return.

This restaurant is at Downtown Disney, parking is $10 after validation so bring your ticket. Came for a quick dinner with family who are visiting from out of state. They were spending their 3 days at both Disneyland and California Adventure so we opted to meet here. Food is good and pretty big portions. Our server was very attentive and nice. Restaurant was on the second floor and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Smash burger with garlic fries. Not really a smash burger but indeed a burger

Came here after our Disney date for some brews. We went up the stairs so fast thinking it would be really hard to find seats but we were very surprised on how many areas to pick and sit at on a Friday night! I think we were just lucky! We got some beers and an entree to share. Can't go wrong with Pineapple sculpin and Wahoo White! We had a lot of snacks to eat in Disney but still wanted to munch on something with our beer. We decided with their nachos. Really wish they would layer the toppings better on the nachos. The bottom had no sauce or toppings left. Heavy loaded on top but pretty minimal for the protein. It was decent. Servers were really good and attentive at the bar. Got our validation for the parking and when you spend over $20 at table service. You'll get 6 hours validated for parking at downtown Disney!

This is the place you come if you're looking to get a little buzzed in Downtown Disney. There's a plethora of beers on tap (obviously) plus cocktails, shots, wine. The possibilities are endless! We stopped by on a Saturday evening and were able to get on the waitlist and sat within 15 minutes or so (they don't take reservations so you check in at the host stand on the first floor and head up to the first floor when it's time to be sat). The food is a bit mid, nothing to write home about. I got the fish tacos. For Magic Key holders, there is a special Magic Key menu which I thought was pretty cool! I paired my tacos with a Baja Sipper which is essentially the alcoholic version of a Baja blast, omg so good. Like, scary good. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is chill here. Sat outside on the upstairs patio. It was nice since we had good weather. The food is ordered on a QR code. It's okay but not great, but prices are crazy. The fish and chips were good. The fish could have been crispy but wasn't terrible. The fries were good. The beer is okay but don't get a picture only a description of the beer. The service is ehh since you order from the QR code you don't have a set server. So getting water too a long time. The cleanup is kind of rushed so they took my drink before I was done, and tried to take our fries. Not really impressed by that kind of service.

    My happy place!

Love Ballast Point! Perfectly located in Downtown Disney among restaurants, small bites and endless shops. It's the perfect hideout for dads to chill and relax and enjoy a nice cold brew while the wife and kids go shopping! It's my oasis! This brewery has a laid-back, "backyard" vibe on the rooftop, while the indoor area is more industrial and lively. You can sit back and drink while watching over the Downtown Disney District. Known for quality California-inspired pub food, specifically the pretzel with mustard, wings, fish tacos, burgers, and extensive beer flights. Service is great. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, making great food and beer recommendations!

    Do they show Dodger Games?

I was just there yesterday (SEPTEMBER 2025) and they did show the Dodgers game both on the outside patio (to the LEFT when you get up the stairs) and inside at the bar.

Can you order food to go- take back to the hotel?

Hello Jeffery! Yes, you absolutely can order food to take back to the hotel!

Are there big screen tv to watch an nba playoff game?

Hi Chris! While we do have a limited number of TVs at the bar to watch, there is no sound for…

Does anyone answer the phone? I am trying to make reservations. I have called the last week and no answer? I call during business hours and it just rings.

They usually answer the phone during their business hours.

    Is this location pet friendly?

Hello Brandi G. We definitely are pet friendly...appreciate you asking and we look forward to seeing you and the pup pay us a visit.…

    Does this place accept reservations?

Yes, through OpenTable. Go to the Ballast Point website, and select location. You’ll see a section for reservations

Are they currently accepting walk-ins? Open table says they are completely booked.

We were there in late June and got in without a reservation. It was a 15 min wait. Also ask about sitting at the bar. That may get you in without a wait.

    Are reservations needed?

Last time I went yes. This was a few months ago during the Covid restrictions. Not sure if they are still needed but I would make them regardless it can get packed here

Do they have beer to go?

They do! You can either ask downstairs and they'll send you up, or you can order before you leave!

Can you make a reservation? Or is it first come, first served only?

Jonathan A. Yes, you can make reservations through OpenTable. Due to the limited space and the…

    Outdoor dining back on?

Kiya C. We are excited to be offering outdoor dining! We look forward to hopefully seeing you soon.…

Are they currently open for sit down dining?

Not yet. Waiting for the governor to lift his restrictions. Once outdoor dining is "legal" again DTD will fully reopen; including Ballast Point.

Do they sell six packs of victory at sea now that the dining area is closed? If not how does the "to go" option work?

They have 6 packs available and Growlers (64oz) as well. You would have to call them directly to verify availability of the specific drink you are looking for.…

Anybody got the updated menu? Or is it still the same?

We appreciate your interest and if you could send me your email address I’ll have someone send our menu options your way...

What is the wait system like? Is it a buzzer or a text when your table is ready? Wondering if we will be able to walk around downtown Disney while waiting for a table or if we will have to stay in the restaurant.

I'm pretty sure it was a text message when we went there. They will give you an idea of wait time and that should dictate how far you wander into downtown Disney.

Will BP check ID upon entry or can those under 21 still come into the restaurant for the non-alcoholic offerings like food?

They welcome all ages into restaurant. We ate lunch there with our 2 year old & they had a kids menu upon request.

    Do they serve wine?

Yes, they have a decent variety of wine.

Do I need a Disneyland ticket or pass to enter or enjoy?

No, this is located in Downtown Disney.

    Are they dog friendly?

Not 100% sure, but it's highly doubtful. They have a kitchen and it's all located on the second floor.

Is it Keto or vegetarian friendly?

They have impossible burger, but not really keto friendly.

Let me tell you why I keep coming back here…read more It's not just the beer, although Bootleggers has plenty of that. It's the patio. There's something about the outdoor space here that makes Bootleggers feel like a little beer oasis tucked just far enough away from the hustle of downtown Fullerton. There are plenty of covered tables, lots of shade, and a large, permanently covered section with a giant TV showing sports and other important television events. When they have live music, it's usually the kind that actually improves the atmosphere rather than taking it over, you know, good musicians, good music, but still chill enough that you can have a conversation. And, of course, there's the beer. They have a really solid and diverse selection, with several IPAs, stouts, seltzers, and other options usually available, plus a selection of beers from other local breweries. It's hard to imagine coming here and not finding something you like. If you can't you're just an openly hostile person. Consider meditation. There's a food truck parked along the side that has basically become part of the Bootleggers landscape. And while outside food is no longer allowed, that's not really a hardship because the food is actually pretty damn good. The sandwiches, salads, and other offerings are all solid, but the fried pickles are the real reason I keep coming back. They're cut lengthwise, breaded just right, and fried until they're perfectly crunchy. Basically big, tart, crunchy submarines of fair food fun. I have a difficult time going to Bootleggers without ordering them. Every. Single. It's close enough to downtown Fullerton to walk to, but just far enough off the beaten path that the patio feels removed from the usual bar scene chaos. The street is nearby, but you barely notice it. It's just a nice place to sit outside, drink a good beer, listen to some music, watch a game, and hang out for a while. Sometimes you don't need another crowded bar with loud music and a $16 cocktail. Sometimes you just want a good beer, some shade, and a plate of ridiculously good fried pickles. But when I went to pay my parking, I had to pay $6. It's $3/hr, and we parked 3 hr. Since the first hr is already free, shouldn't I only have to pay $3? I've been hoodwinked.
