Came for dinner after a long day at Disneyland and was greeted by the bartender, Pickles (yes, that's her name)! There were few people in the upstairs outside bar, which is the best place for a meal IMO. Pickles was patient as I asked many questions about the food, but steered me right with a poke bowl that was truly outstanding. The tuna was fresh and complimented by cucumber, carrots, rice, seaweed and a lovely sauce. Adding a side of soy sauce and Pickle's suggestion of Sriracha made the dish marvelous. The meal was rounded out with a bottle of Unshackled Red Blend (delicious) at $64 a bottle. There was a little hiccup at the end of the night with my leftovers being packaged out of site (you know it's my pet peeve), but the manager was awesome and corrected everything before I left full and happy. First time, and definitely wanted to try this brewery. I've been to the Long Beach one and love that one so much. This place was packed but we got seated right away outside. Just stopped in for a few beers, didn't order any food. Beer selection is great, but be aware that most of the beers are not Ballast Point--they're from other breweries. Still a great selection, but I like supporting the brewery itself. Service is decent, but not great. I had a Moscow mule and multiple lime margaritas with tajin rim, and my husband had the blueberry hard lemonade and jungle juice. All our drinks were really good, especially the lime margaritas. On the menu it says the lime margarita is award winning and I can see why, and you should definitely pay the extra dollar to add the tajin rim. We stopped by this brewery in Downtown Disney with a party of four around 8 PM and were pleasantly surprised with only a 20-minute wait. Once seated on the second floor, we had a great view overlooking Downtown Disney which was the perfect setting to unwind after a long day. Service started off quick and attentive, and although it slowed down a bit toward the end, the staff remained friendly and welcoming throughout. I ordered the fish and chips, and they did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly tender with a light, flaky breading that didn't overpower. The garlic fries were chef's kiss! perfectly fried, crunchy on the outside, but still light and airy. To drink, I had their pineapple IPA, which paired beautifully with the fish and chips.. bright, crisp, and just the right amount of tropical. If you're looking for something non-alcoholic, the watermelon water is super refreshing and a great option. One of my friends got a burger that looked massive and juicy, definitely something I'll come back for. We also noticed they sell some pretty cool merch, and it's nice to see they offer Magic Key and Cast Member discounts. There's a lively yet relaxed energy here, and the layout with a central bar top and plenty of seating makes it feel both social and spacious. All in all, a fantastic way to cap off our evening. This is only about the food. Take a look at the picture. Does that look like a flatbread worthy of a cost of $25? Hell no it does not! It looks like it was either made in a cooking class for first timers or a 5 year old just through a bunch of junk together. Take a look at the cheese. Does it look like it was cooked all the way? My friends and I went to Disneyland for a friend's birthday & he was in the mood for a burger & a drink! Ballast Point from what I had remembered had good food & drinks. So he was up to go there to eat during our park visit. When we first arrived the host was very inviting before getting us seated. Once we were sat we had our first server come by which didn't introduce herself & wasn't as friendly as the host. The server then left without advising of a shift change & then the new server Elias came by to tend to us with a new trainee which she was very friendly & wished my friend a Happy Birthday but the server Elias did not, which he didn't need to but what kind of example is that to set for a new hire. We then had a pizza ordered which was not cooked all the way though and the dough was undercooked both times. He didn't have a kind response to a request for a new pizza. We then had asked for ranch for the pizzas & they didn't come out until later on. We also felt rushed into asking what else we needed as well as rushed into paying the check for the whole table. The food runner was kind & also the server refilling the waters was patient. This location I wouldn't recommend for dining in, possibly for the beers since they have a good variety of drinks. The cleanliness was there so no complaints on that but the server definitely didn't make the experience worth wild. Will not be returning to this location. read more

At no point did anyone explain that everything--ordering and paying--would be done through the QR code. I assumed it was just to view the menu. It wasn't. I unknowingly placed and paid for only my meal and didn't realize my son's order hadn't been placed until my food arrived. I'm sorry, but I'm not a waitress. A simple explanation upfront would have avoided this entirely. When my wings were dropped off, I was asked if I needed anything else--yes, actually: napkins, a plate, and utensils would have been nice without having to ask. Because my son's food came much later, I finished eating first and stepped away to wash my hands. When I returned, he was visibly uncomfortable and told me his food was stuck because he had no water. I handed him mine and had to wave someone down for several minutes before we were brought more water. Service was inattentive and poorly communicated, and the self-service system was not explained at all. I've never not left a tip before, but this experience left me feeling more frustrated than taken care of. read more

We opted to sit outside as there were actual tables available (versus high top tables inside), and they were showing the Monday Night Football game on tv (Rams at Falcons). In addition, I liked that the place was playing rock music (I remember hearing two Metallica songs). Anyway, for dinner, I got the BP Burger (with added bacon) with the upgrade to the garlic parmesan fries. My wife got the birria quesatacos. We also both ordered the Fuze unsweetened ice tea. There were a few people in line but since we were a group of two; we got called and seated fast! The restaurant was upstairs. Plenty of tables, seat and they have a bar area. Nicely decorated. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She took care of us. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich with garlic Parmesan fries and Birria Quesatacos. Both were amazing! Fresh ingredients, delicious! 10 out of 10. The birria quesataco photos did not do justice but in person; it was really good. It had a lot of flavor.
