Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and kindly answered our questions about various dishes. Food came out fast, and several staff members passed by to ask us how everything was tasting. I started off with a strawberry lemonade and it was incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The charcuterie was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it. Fruits were sweet and the pickled vegetables were especially good. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were very good, although I've had better elsewhere - Beechers in Seattle and tomato soup in Iceland, but I know that's not a fair comparison. For dessert, we ordered bread pudding, it was yummy and the perfect end to our meal. The ambience was nice and not too loud inside. Wish I was local, so I can dine here more often. Online, you can enter the number in your party, and enter the virtual queue, which we did. Our table for four was ready when we arrived, and we were seated right away. Our server was great, good energy, and made multiple recommendations on the menu, including what may have recently changed, or been updated, on the menu. He highly recommended the strawberry margarita, noted that it wasn't sweet, and that they make all of their syrups, flavoring etc. in house, and this was a standout newer addition. He was right - it was delicious, refreshing for a hot summer day, and best of all, not overly sweet. For dinner, I had the filet, which came with a generous portion of super creamy, delicious mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the most wonderfully flavorful au jus. My steak was perfectly cooked the way I like it (medium rare). The dessert, a 'creme brûlée' was not at all your typical creme brûlée, and honestly, for me, fell a bit flat. I think it was made with some type of goat cheese, didn't have the lovely custardy/smooth consistency, volume, or depth. The fresh fruit on top was nice, but I only had a bite or so of this dessert we shared. Maybe call it something else, or alternatively, make sure when people order it they know it's non-traditional creme brûlée. Otherwise, wonderful meal, with great friends and we will absolutely be back!

We started with the tuna and guacamole--both were fresh and delicious. Then we shared a flatbread and the special watermelon arugula salad, which paired perfectly. The portions were great too--we even had leftovers! Our waiter was excellent, kept our drinks full, and recommended the flatbread, which we're so glad we went with. Since it was still early, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, with just a few couples enjoying date nights nearby. Definitely recommend if you're in Golden--we'll absolutely be back!

I opted for the Chateau Ste. Michelle Sauvignon Blanc from the Horse Heaven Vineyard, and it was lovely. It was very refreshing with light citrus notes that weren't overpowering and a really nice body overall. I also have to give a shout-out to the staff for the presentation; the glassware was crystal clear and spotless, which always makes the drink taste a little better. The atmosphere is perfectly casual, with TVs playing the NFL playoffs (and presumably other sports), making it a relaxed spot to hang out without being too "stuffy." We dove into their large food menu and started with the fried pickles and the spinach artichoke dip served with veggies, both of which were delicious. The service was friendly and jovial throughout the visit, which made us feel right at home. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is that we had a small lapse in service where we had to ask a second time for lemons for a glass of water, but the staff was so pleasant that it was a minor blip in an otherwise excellent visit. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of that wine list!

My husband and I went here to celebrate his birthday and Father's Day this afternoon. We were promptly seated without a reservation at one of the table on the patio to enjoy the fresh air. We started off with an order of garlic knots and Italian /chicken lettuce wraps. We asked about the honey dipping sauce and were told it was on a spicy side, so we skipped paying the extra $2 for it. However, our waitress wanted us to try it, so the honey was on the house. And, boy, that honey dip sauce was indeed very spicy! And the wraps? It was delicious! Fresh cherry tomatoes with diced chicken breast and bean plus seasonings. We loved the dish and finished everything on the plate except for the 3 sauces. We ordered our main entrees after finishing our appetizers. I had the Linguini & Clams, while my husband ordered the Rigatoni & Sausage. What a disappointment my Linguini & Clams dish was to me. The lack of flavor from one of my favorite dishes made me sad. I was looking forward to it. Adding hot pepper flakes, then black pepper, and the worst was adding salt. If this dish were to be prepared correctly, I would have been happy to eat it all. However, I gave up after adding my own spices. The Rigatoni & Sausage dish? OMG, out of this world! The red sauce with the meat sauce smothering the pasta was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. I'd wished I ordered that dish, but at least I was able to try a couple of bites. When the bill came, our waitress said she took off the clam dish because I didn't like it. THIS, this! is how they gained a new customer! I'll come back and will give them my business. Thank you for treating this customer right and making sure my eating experience will be different the next time I dine here.

After entering the building, the hostess approached with a tepid "what's up." Our server acted like taking our order was a favor, and she was so eager to walk away I had to get her attention TWICE to finish ordering what I wanted (hey, can we also get an order of pepperoni rolls, HEY, can I also get an IPA). Zero attention paid to water and drinks that needed replenishing. The manager needs to pay more attention to the level of service and professionalism of the staff, a lot more. This may be why they tack on a mandatory 20% surcharge with a little lecture on the receipt about how it provides a living wage, because I doubt they'd ever get tips at that level with this style of service. Or maybe the service is that way because they don't feel any need to work for a gratuity. Under the circumstances, calling this a "hospitality" charge was just plain tacky. I didn't feel like there was any hospitality, certainly not enough to warrant a 20% fee.

Nestled within the bustling streets of Belmar, parking can be a little tight. However, there are free lots near and street parking for a small fee. The space itself is sleek, modern and exudes an upscale vibe, one I wasn't expecting from the name alone. Seating is scattered throughout, leather booths with lamps, trendy furniture and cozy nooks for cocktails - the most fun vibe! We were greeted by a woman who brought us to a smallish table in the center of the dining area and our server approached shortly after. She welcomed us, brought us beverages (iced tea for me!) and was complimentary of our orders. When asked if the fries or chips were a better accompaniment to my meal, she said "people like both", which wasn't super helpful, as I was expecting a little more personal taste. She visited us a few times throughout our meal, giving the bill right away - which I found to be a little awkward and making us feel rushed. However, we took our time to enjoy our meals. The menu is huge, and the food is GOOD! I had a hard time narrowing down what I wanted to eat, but settled on the turkey sandwich, which was on the best bread and loaded with everything yummy! The description and picture online didn't match what I received, but it was delicious, nonetheless. My friend opted for a burger on a GF bun, which she seemed to enjoy in that moment. My one pet peeve is when servers don't write down orders - thinking they can remember all the details, despite having multiple tables - and my friend's order came out incorrect. Her fully gluten bun was on her burger and although she had requested a GF bun, we had waited about 30 min for our food and didn't realize until she took the first few bites. Sigh. Pricing is bit high, but inflation, the quality of ingredients and presentation make up for that. Despite my friends' experience, with T Street so close to the office, I can easily see myself returning for another lunch out!

The seafood gumbo with rice was good, no complaints! The seafood boil was overcooked which made the corn mushy and the shrimp tough. Luckily it didn't affect the crab leg cluster which still tasted great. On the plus side, the location is good and there is ample parking. When we went on a Tuesday night at peak dinner time there was no wait for a table. I am on the fence about whether I would return.
