We dove into their large food menu and started with the fried pickles and the spinach artichoke dip served with veggies, both of which were delicious. The service was friendly and jovial throughout the visit, which made us feel right at home. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is that we had a small lapse in service where we had to ask a second time for lemons for a glass of water, but the staff was so pleasant that it was a minor blip in an otherwise excellent visit. I sometimes order other entrees and have never been disappointed. The waitstaff have been there for years (I'm guessing in part due to the 20% charge that is shared among all employees, both wait staff and kitchen). I usually tip a little extra, but it isn't expected. We now live a 45-minute drive away, but we still make the trip for special occasions or business.
