(Get them with mash potatoes). The patio is always comfortable with a great breeze and a view of the ocean a block away. What really stands out here though is the friendly service. Andres has been there almost every night and has always been great. He is very prompt with bringing drinks and food. You can see them hustling down to the kitchen and keeping things running smoothly. But what I like the most is the friendliness. He is always willing to chat about soccer, music, wine, or anything else (but also knows when to leave you alone so you can eat). Also, the value is pretty good. The wine is $10 or less. They have my favorite Malbec. And even the ribeye, at the beach, for $27 is not bad at all. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!
