I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. The service was okay. We did have to wait a bit for our drinks (water and sweet tea), so by the time they came, our garlic rolls weren't as warm as when we received them. One of my friends is allergic to garlic and they brought her her own plain rolls, which was awesome. I appreciated how many items on the menu don't come with meat. I ordered the gnocchi and broccoli bake and it was SO good. It was a huge plate of gnocchi (two meals) with lots of broccoli! The sauce was so yummy and garlicky. It was pretty rich but for a once in a while treat was so satisfying. We did think it was kind of weird that the menu didn't have ingredients listed for the different pizzas. The waiter listed them all when we asked but that seems kind of silly. One friend ordered a calzone and seemed to like it although there was a lot of dough without filling. Went to try Bambinelli's tonight for dinner, our first time here. Oh what a disappointment except for our server Jack who was very pleasant and attentive. Let's start with the atmosphere; there was none. No personality at all, just very plain and boring. We were not surprised how empty the place was. We were craving something Italian and wanted to try someplace we hadn't been to before. Big mistake coming here. My wife and I agreed it was the worst meal we've had so far in 2024, already August. The garlic knots looked great and we're served warm, but where was the garlic? These had barely any garlic flavor and were a disappointment. My wife got eggplant parm and I got the lasagne; I typically love lasagne. The eggplant looked good and had promise until my wife took a bite. The sauce was nice and chunky, but was very sour and extremely salty and watery and couldn't stick to the spaghetti. We got a tiny dish of Alfredo sauce to cut down on the tartness some in addition to adding sugar, but didn't help enough, especially with the saltiness. I was hoping to love the lasagne that also looked good with loads of melted cheese. But too bad the sauce here was also sour and salty. Though nicely stuffed with ground meat, ricotta, and melted cheese, the lasagne noodles also seemed melted as they were overcooked. This lasagne had the consistency of mush, and that's not a compliment! Too bad the owner didn't stop in to get our feedback. We headed home after paying our bill, and heated up some leftovers from our refrigerator to enjoy. Horrible customer service. The employees literally look over at the customers that come into the restaurant and don't say anything. They Don't greet or acknowledge. Only been here once so far but it was a really nice experience. We sat at the bar - it was a quiet evening for the two us. Staff were multi tasking but friendly and attentive. I'd say it was early in the week so it wasn't too busy. Food was excellent and whole menu looked great - very traditional pasta and pizza options. We had more than enough to take home too. My favorite Italian place in the area wasn't accepting delivery orders, so I decided to try a new place. I ordered Bambinelli's via DoorDash for my family (ergo can't comment on dine-in experience, service, or ambiance- sorry!) The food - I was really excited about my order - the chicken cannelloni in tomato sauce, but it was really just a giant "meh" when I tried it. The sauce was very tasty; the chicken inside the cannelloni was very pasty and dry. I ate about half of the serving because I was hungry, but easily set it aside for the second half. Going to give this place a solid three stars. What they do, they do mediocre. Everything tasted decent but nothing stellar. The garlic knots look like they would be pretty incredible, but they're really like a discount Ipps. However, the fact that you basically get as much of it as you want is a bread lover's paradise. Wine prices by the bottle were pretty decent, but the meals themselves near or more than $20. Serving sizes are enough to feed two though! The inhouse Italian sausage was a nice touch. Maybe a pizza with it next time would be the right combination. I really liked the fact that even for a Friday night, the place was super slow and nearly empty. An absolute disaster of a dining experience -- and a complete waste of money. My husband and I chose Bambinelli's (Roswell) for dinner on 9/6 after enjoying lunch there in the past, but this visit was nothing short of appalling. From start to finish, the restaurant failed us. * Uncontrolled noise: A man let his kids blast videos and games at full volume. Instead of addressing the disturbance, our server suggested we move. Paying customers should not be punished for someone else's bad manners. * Glacial, careless service: Our food order was simple--spaghetti with meat sauce and eggplant Parmesan--yet we waited far longer than guests who arrived after us. When our meals finally showed up, a server literally slammed the plates down on our table. It was insulting, unprofessional, and ruined any appetite we had left. * Hostile treatment from another customer: A woman seated at the bar, confronted us aggressively, accusing us of being disruptive when we were tucked away quietly in a corner. Her behavior was abusive, and staff did nothing to intervene. * No accountability: There was no manager present, no one to address the disrespect, and no way to reach the restaurant afterward--no voicemail, no returned calls. This was not just horrible service--it was outright disrespect. We left angry, upset, and disgusted. Close by pizza delivery that was pretty good. In our never ending quest for our "goto pizza" place we were told about a location that is very close to us. Bambinelli's is a smallish location boasting pizza and other Italian staples. We have done delivery and take out but have not been inside yet. The pizza was pretty good but the pick up experience was a bit lacking. They direct you around to the side of the building where they have a small drive through style window that you have to walk up too. The area around the widow is tight And all of their pickup services use this spot as well. So there is a "crowd" at the window. It isn't horrible but it is a bit "messy". The pizza has a great crust... that crust that is crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside. The thin style is thin but not too thin... it supports the toppings. The selection of toppings are not as wide as it could be... I couldn't get artichoke... but they did have green olives and they are not stingy with the toppings. The sauce is tasty... could use a bit more umpf but at least it is not sweet. Not our "goto" place... but one that we will order from again for sure. read more

2/11/23 - party of 2 So many businesses are still operating on reduced hours like they were during Covid. I was surprised at how many pizza places closed at 8pm on a Saturday night. Luckily for us, Bambinelli's saved the day! I called in an order for a large Bambinelli's specialty pizza and garlic knots to go. My order was ready when promised and the teenage girl who rang up my order was very nice and seemed to love her job. She told me all about the restaurant, their desserts, gave me some plates and plasticware for our meal. Super nice! The pizza was delicious and definitely hit the spot on this cold, rainy night. The veggies and onions were cut very thin but still had some crunch, which I love. The toppings were very ample and the crust was good. I was impressed on how large the restaurant was and its nice decor. Their menu offers so much more than pizza and sounded very appetizing. Although it's off the beaten path and then a small strip mall, this restaurant has a tastefully casual ambience and good food. I had the Pasta carbonara and added the grilled chicken. This dish was very good yet so rich. My tip is that I would not add the grilled chicken as it is not necessary because the mushrooms and pancetta are more than enough protein for the meal. My wife had the chicken parmigiana. The pasta, although not homemade, was very good and the sauce, which is homemade, was excellent. The chicken itself had nice flavor but certainly not the best I've had. They serve you unlimited baskets of garlic rolls. I was not a fan of them but my wife loved them. Take out orders have been hit or miss. My family has been coming to Bambinelli's since it first opened almost 30 years ago behind Northlake Mall. The sons have taken over since " Mama" passed away. She was wonderful and knew customers by face if not name. Food was always excellent. Moved to larger location across from Picadilly's and while more space, efficiency, etc. the recipes don't taste the same. Staff always cordial, clean , but again hit or miss on the food. read more

I used to go in here weekly precovid but lately it's been more delivery. I even got my office hooked on ordering the pizza and salads here when we have team lunches brought in because the salads are as amazing as the pizza. The servers are always super young but don't let that worry you, I've never had bad service there. The vibe is an old Italian place that could use a remodel. Horrible customer service. We sat at the bar and waited 5 mins. No one said anything to us. A party of 2 men and 4 kids came in 5 mins after us and was greeted and got their order in. Wanted to try this place forever as I always see cars coming for pickups. Passing by around 2:00pm, still within lunch period thinking food will be fresh. I ordered the Lasagna, she said it came with rolls. Well she should have said it comes with stones! Rolls were hard and stale.. I'm used to soft rolls dripping in oil and garlic sauce. When I went here I had the chicken Alfredo with grilled chicken and it was just perfect there portions size is massive and the grilled chicken is so tasty I also had a pizza which was cooked perfectly and a tiramisu which was so delicious and I honestly regret having because I was in the middle of a tournament and it had a bit of alcohol despite that I would definitely have it again when I get the chance i would 100% recommend this place the food is delicious read more

Discovered Bambinelli's while looking for a place to play trivia. Their 6:30 start time on Mondays really appeals, and if you're looking for a new trivia place, I highly recommend B's. Their host is outstanding - friendly, comes around to pick up the answers, and always ties his song choices in to the current question somehow. Seriously, it's a fun time every time I make it out there! The trivia isn't the only appeal, though. The service is terrific and the food is, too. I've tried pasta and salad as well as their huge calzones, and all have been fresh and wonderful.
