    Undercooked pizza
    Franki B.

Today I went here for the first time and was excited to try a brick oven pizza place in Roswell. The pictures on the menu looked great. The price point was way higher than I would expect for a brick oven pizza because I paid $30 for a large, but I'm willing to pay that if it's good Pizza. We walk in and they have our pizza ready at the exact time they told us it would be ready. We decided to just eat in there so we sit down at a table and open up the pizza box and the pizza is basically raw. We pick a piece out and it wasn't even cooked to have the crunchy crispy bottom crust that you would expect from a brick oven pizza. It was completely floppy and all the toppings just poured off. You had to support it with two hands to even take a bite. I walked over and asked the lady if she could put the pizza back in the oven for a couple minutes. She immediately told me no because it was already sliced and that it would just fall apart. I asked her if she could put it on a tray or an oven rack and put it in there. She told me no because then it would just turn black. So I paid $30 for a basically raw pizza. The pepperonis weren't even cooked. They tasted like raw pepperoni does. I took the pizza home and put it in my oven and cooked it at 500° for 15 minutes and it came out with a nice crunchy crust like you would expect. Then the pizza itself was good. But with that lack of customer service and serving raw pizza, I would not recommend this place at all. Really wanted to like this place. Who in their right mind would even cut the pizza when undercooked?

Pizzas were absolutely delicious. We came on a Sunday during lunch time and there was plenty of seating inside and out. It wasn't crowded however we did wait about 15 mins for our pizza. You order at the counter and the food gets delivered to your desk with silver trays. Also a station to pick utensils from Overall nice spot with their own parking spots

    Hot honey wings

This place was better before covid but the pizza is still pretty decent. I tried the hot honey wings for the first time and was very disappointed. They were mostly fat and hardly any meat. I literally had one drumstick that was all fat and had no actual meat on it. I will never try the wings again. I feel like their pizza ingredients have changed over the years. Used to be one of my favorites

The pizza itself was amazing. Quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had. However, their whole system detracts from the quality of their food. You order at the counter, are given a number, and then seat yourself at an indoor picnic table that resembles something of an army barracks and wait for someone to bring your food. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with light sauce and my husband ordered some meatballs and a glass of wine. He was disappointed by the meatballs and even more-so that his wine came in a plastic cup. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza but also found the ambiance to be a bit off-putting. For the prices they charge, the experience should certainly be more elevated than it is, which is why we won't be back. If I was rating the pizza alone, it would easily be 5 stars, but I think 3 is the maximum justified rating for the experience as a whole. I may order takeout someday but we definitely won't be dining in again.

Incredible service and unbelievable value!!! Truly felt like a local treasure and the pizza was top class. Tried three different pies (even a vegetarian) and every single one was excellent. Even though I'm not a vegetarian XD lol

So, if you are looking for an upscale Italian dining experience in the Roswell area, you definitely need to try Grana. Despite multiple inquiries, there was very little acknowledgment or urgency regarding the delay. Eventually, after repeatedly asking to speak with someone, the manager came over. Completely unacceptable experience and definitely not somewhere I would return to. Giving 2 stars only because the pasta itself was decent.

Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes didn't reach the same level. The deep dish pizza was mediocre, lacking the richness, texture and flavor you'd expect. The fettuccine Alfredo needed cheese with flavor and had almost no taste, the lemon pepper wings didn't have any lemon or pepper zing or seasoning to make them memorable. The Brussels sprouts were also mediocre, missing the crispness or seasoning that could have elevated them. For dessert, the tiramisu and cannoli were just OK -- nothing special, but not disappointing either. The total came to $131 for four people, which felt fair for the amount of food we ordered. Overall the service was excellent but Nancy's has potential, especially with their rustic pizza, but consistency across the menu would make the experience much stronger.

Hubby and I are early birds, so no surprise that we were the only ones there upon arrival around 4ish. We sat down and started to look over the menu. There was only one guy working and whether intentionally or not, he definitely gave off a vibe that felt like he was annoyed we had come in, which wasn't a great first impression. He never gave us napkins or utensils, so hubby got up and got some for us after the garlic bread we ordered as a starter arrived. The garlic bread was literally just toast with some garlic spread slathered on. It wasn't great, and we would not order it again. Aside from that, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and hubby got his weird Hawaiian concoction that I will never understand the appeal of. My pepperoni pizza was amazing. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni distribution were spot on, and the best part is that the bottom was perfectly crispy but not burned. Hubby's was good too, though he is less appreciative of the crisp factor than I am, though to be fair, he is not really much of a pizza fan to begin with and was just humoring my date night pick. After our pizza was brought to the table, other employees had started to arrive. Salty dude disappeared and a much nicer lady took over for him by bringing us drink refills and later closing out our tab. We will not be returning for date night, but the pizza was definitely good enough for a repeat visit. I will most likely just order as carryout during lunchtime instead, though. I wasn't really a fan of the vibe for dining in, particularly due to the salty guy who we seemed to annoy at the beginning, but I think the pizza was definitely worth coming back for.

See photos. Grabbed a salad, some pasta and couldn't pass on the dessert. The Insalata Romana dressing was subdued so for those who don't like bold and zesty - it'll be right up their alley. Not too light though - any lighter and I might have asked for more seasoning. I enjoyed the flavors of the Tagliolini Bolognese. It was hearty, savory and I could see it being a comfort food me if I were a local. I would have liked the pasta to be on the Al dente side but it wasn't mushy to the point that there wasn't any chew. Also enjoyed the dessert. Great way to cap the meal. Really enjoyed the experience there overall. Sitting at the bar, not loud - kinda intimate. Maybe 10 seats. Beer, wine and spirits. Also a happy hour to finish out a work day. We are truly picky Caesar eaters and this one had freshly shaved Parmesan and obvious homemade croutons. Pasta was fabulous for both of us. Would we dine here again?
