    Rissoto Lobster

From start to finish, this place was phenomenal! We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by David and Robin, who were both incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The owner was also present, personally greeting and helping customers so polite and genuinely pleasant, which really elevated the experience. We started with fresh bread and olive oil, and every drink we ordered was a hit Peach Bellini, Aperol Spritz, champagne, espresso martinis, and Italian margaritas that were perfectly balanced with a flavorful twist. The mussels were fresh and full of flavor, and the lobster risotto stole the show a huge portion and absolutely packed with lobster, not a single bite was lacking. The Tortelli Mugellani with Ragù Bolognese was rich and hearty true comfort food with authentic flavor. For dessert, the tiramisu was light, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending. Even the bathroom was spotless, which says a lot about the overall care and attention to detail. Exceptional food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. This spot gets everything right can't wait to come back!

We have visited Bellini twice recently for birthday and holiday celebrations. Both of our experiences have been perfect! Service was friendly, very knowledgeable and attentive. Management greets and takes care of you. Food has been on point both dining experiences. Delicious pastas, pizzas, chicken piccata, lamb chops. Very nice wine list. The restaurant is beautiful, it has always been one of the prettiest spaces in Roswell, especially during the holidays. Great for private parties as well. If you have not been to Bellini yet, you are missing out!

The cocktails were nicely made ! The ambiance and service was good as well! However, the food was a-okay : chicken piccata - was fine but the chicken cacciatore felt like it was created from rotisserie chicken - with red pasta sauce spread over it .

Beautiful interior and attentive service. Carbonara & tagliatelle were average but the table all loved the lasagna. Would recommend the red sauced dishes over the white.

We were very excited to have some authentic Tuscan food, having read about the chefs. We ordered the mussels and the burrata app with the fried dough balls. The mussels were not bad. The burrata was dry and underwhelming. The fried dough balls were a nice touch, though. For entrees, we asked for the Linguine alle vongole (linguini with clams). The server informed us there was a problem with the clam supply and therefore, the entree was off the menu. This was the Saturday after they opened on Tuesday. We ended up getting the papardelle with cinguale, the seafood gnocchi. Nothing special.. the seafood did not taste the best. It was more like that seafood frozen mix one would get at an Asian supermarket at a bargain price. The seasoning was alright but again, not the dish that you'll crave for.. The pappardelle with cinguale (wild boar) was a bit on the bland side too. Then, we decided to get tiramisu for dessert. It looked right but it was so soggy. Not creamy at all. It looked like they made it a few day before when they opened the restaurant and figured they could serve it till it was all gone, hence the one tablespoon of liquid at the bottom of the serving bowl. Service: Our server was polite and sweet but they seemed short staffed, overwhelmed and not able to get the drinks on time and replenishing our water happened maybe once towards the end when we were ready for our check. Will we go back? Unfortunately, it was too pricey for mediocre Italian food.. So, highly unlikely.

This restaurant is beautiful! We were instantly captivated once we drove up and parked in front of a row of thrilling tomato, squash, peppers, and herb plants. Inside is decorated throughout to transport you out of Roswell, GA and right into Italy. Bread and focaccia were served with olive oil and the servers were on top of bringing the kids meals quickly. A big bowl of pasta kept them entertained while the adults dined on burrata and calamari. The fried calamari came with a small variety of fried veggies which was an unexpected addition. For pasta, we shared the Bellini Tagliatelle and Carbonara. The Tagliatelle was by far the winner and a clear reason why it's the house pasta! Finally, we also shared the branzino, Mediterranean style. The fish was very flaked, tender, and full of flavor. But watch out for lots of little bones! I'm happy it did not come out with the head and eyeballs staring me down. We were way too stuffed for dessert! Overall, a great night out and we enjoyed our Italian outing!

We happened on Bellini Osteria Toscana when searching for a restaurant not too far from home that has 'authentic' Pasta Carbonara on their menu. What we found was a restaurant delivering anything but. If I had to rate the restaurant on this item alone it would have garnered 2 stars. But Bellini Osteria did deliver on its Calamari, tender & crisp & accompanied by delicately fried in calamari style -veggies & two dipping sauces that added a nice touch. And a generous starter of real Prosciutto & Burrata over a little bit of spicy arugula & served with puffy & pleasantly chewy pizza fritta was very good. My entree of Bronzino with olives, capers, a cherry tomatoes was executed well - the fat fish filets off the bone but with the tail left on one for a little dramatic flair. But back to the Carbonara... Bellini Osteria's menu claims that the pasta for this dish is the spaghetti length square cut pasta known as Chitarra but I'm not sure it actually was. And Carbonara is traditionally made with diced guanciale -cured pork cheek & even after having receiving an affirmative after asking our pleasant server if it was made with this meat, it was clear that what I was served instead was two half slices of bacon wrapping the plated pasta spiral. The pasta was not served hot & the claim of it being made with real Italian Pecorino Romano was questionable as well. So major disappointment there. Other tables in service appeared to be receiving beautiful dishes of pasta & other entrees & as with our fish being so excellent the only fair rendition of the Carbonara won't cause us to ding the food. Wine list is superb with modest prices on many selections. Service did get dicey as the evening went on. Service started good but dropped off after the Saturday evening rush began. One table actually got up & left after having waited a long time with no service after only having their water glasses filled. Bellini Osteria is very conveniently located off of Georgia 400 & occupies the old VG Bistro property. The old glory days of VG Bistro barely emanates from the property now but it is still a pleasant dining space with good acoustics - no shouting across the table to speak to your dinner companion required -but the bathroom plumbing probably needs an overhaul. This is an unpretentious 3.5 star place for better than average mostly Northern Italian food - with reasonable prices a main draw.

I came in on a Friday evening without a reservation. Chose to sit at the bar. Had a great experience. Chatting with locals as well as the staff and enjoyed a nice meal and a few adult beverages. See photos. Grabbed a salad, some pasta and couldn't pass on the dessert. The Insalata Romana dressing was subdued so for those who don't like bold and zesty - it'll be right up their alley. Not too light though - any lighter and I might have asked for more seasoning. I enjoyed the flavors of the Tagliolini Bolognese. It was hearty, savory and I could see it being a comfort food me if I were a local. I would have liked the pasta to be on the Al dente side but it wasn't mushy to the point that there wasn't any chew. Also enjoyed the dessert. Great way to cap the meal. Really enjoyed the experience there overall. Sitting at the bar, not loud - kinda intimate. Maybe 10 seats. Beer, wine and spirits. Also a happy hour to finish out a work day. I've eaten at a few spots on Canton and I can say that for me, this is another spot I'd recommend and go back to.

I couldn't decide what I wanted for a glass of wine and they offered to bring me glasses to sample. I love this-- I saw them offer same service to another table close by. We split the Caesar and they were kind enough to diving between two bowls. The only other place that does this for us is Cibo e Beve. The focaccia was wonderful with large flakes of salt on top and went great with their olive oil. We are truly picky Caesar eaters and this one had freshly shaved Parmesan and obvious homemade croutons. Pasta was fabulous for both of us. Would we dine here again? Definitely not the bar and probably not the dining room, but would come back to dine outdoors. Carrie was our waitress and she was fantastic.

I was not mad at all! So coming here you're going to have to worry about parking but there's a lot right next door. I think it's like $10 to park but you can also find other lots and if you could find street parking, that'd be great. Remember this is a residential area outside of this little district so you got to be careful where you park at. This place is pretty cool because it has a large space for seating, a really large bar, and plenty of outdoor seats as well. The dining room area is very large and the bar is pretty big but the outside area to me takes the cake. They have chairs and loungers and a fire pit, I think. It's really clutch if it's a really nice day out. The last time I went outside at the bar and ordered a couple of bites. The bartender was super cool, polite, no issue with the service. Garlic knots - so these came and I wasn't actually expecting them but they were good. Here, the last time I was there I wasn't offering any garlic knots so I didn't know that they gave these as an appetizer bread. They came with a good sauce and they were very buttery and glazed with butter and cheese. They weren't as pull-apart tender as I would have liked but they still had a really good flavor to them. Calamari - I ordered the calamari as well. I've actually had it before and it was really good so I went back for it. It comes with a really good marinara sauce that has plenty of chunks of tomato in it. The calamari itself is very good and savory and it comes plentiful. You may not even necessarily eat the sauce because it's pretty seasoned. Cheese sticks - I guess I wouldn't call these cheese sticks because they're more like triangles lol but they are really good. Deep-fried cheese triangles, they didn't miss. It had the typical issues you have when you fry something but at the same time they were good and had a really good cheese pull. I would definitely order these again. They came only in three but they were very nice sized. Overall I had a good experience. Again this is not my first time going but I would actually go back and try food because honestly I've only tried appetizers. I haven't actually tried dinner lol but I've had a really good experience every time I've been.

The drink was supposed to be sweet and fruity, but it didn't taste good at all. It had an odd, old taste to it. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was just okay and didn't really stand out. I've been to Italian restaurants where the pasta tasted extremely fresh and the sauce tasted homemade. I love Italian food, but this spot just wasn't it. My husband didn't like his food either and didn't eat it. He told the waitress who was training that the sauce was a bit overwhelming for the dish. She didn't seem concerned. She told him she was sorry he didn't like it and walked away. She didn't ask if he would like to try something else or offer any other solution. The waitress who was doing the training was very short and acted as if she didn't care throughout most of our meal. We are not in a hurry to go back, especially after feeling like we wasted our time and money.

Over the bar was a large screen TV showing beautiful scenes of Italy, with contemporary Italian pop playing in the background. I started with the soup of the day, which was lobster bisque that was so full of lobster that I would call it a stew versus a soup. The complimentary bread was slightly toasted and topped with aromatic herbs that paired perfectly with the olive oil with which it was served. My entree was a special, and was the short rib. There was nothing "short" about it as the huge beef rib had a bone that overhung the plate that a caveman would be proud to own. The beef was fork tender and the steak knife provided with it wasn't necessary. It was paired with a delicious and sweet wine sauce. And the side was tender gnocchi (al tartufo) in a rich and creamy sauce flavored with truffle. Since they also have Risotto al Tartufo on the menu, that will definitely be on my list for my next visit. It was chilly went we visited, but on a nice day, the patio would be nice too. We ordered and were not in any kind of hurry. Probably a good thing, since the kitchen seemed to be very backed up and the food came out very slowly. The servers also seemed to be a little overwhelmed, so I'm wondering if the crowd was heavier than expected. Please don't take this as complaint - the service staff were very friendly and did their best to keep diners smiling. Unfortunately - the food was a little underwhelming. We ordered calamari - it was slightly over cooked and chewy. For dinner, we had the gnocchi and chicken saltimbocca. The safe in the chicken dish was overpowering (I ended up having to scrape it off) and the chicken was overcooked. It says a lot that my favorite thing on the plate was the sautéed spinach (which was delicious!). I really, really wanted to love this place, but I'm not sure I would visit again. There are too many places in this area that have much better food for the same price point.

Service: The service was just okay at best. Out of three orders, two were incorrect (both with wrong pasta that we ordered), and I had to remind the server about my cocktails when the entrées were already served. We were also celebrating a little girl's birthday, which made the experience even more disappointing. After two desserts were already brought out, I had to ask the host to bring a candle as I didn't see my server. Eventually a plate with "Happy Birthday" written on it came out, and we were told the server was "working on it," but it felt like an afterthought. The server didn't come out herself or even acknowledge the birthday, which was a letdown for a special moment. Ambience: This place is just too loud to even have a normal conversation. It's not the music that's the issue -- it's the space. The restaurant feels very small and overcrowded, with tables packed too closely together. With that many people in such a tight space, the noise level becomes overwhelming. Because of that, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for date nights or any occasion where you actually want to talk and enjoy the moment. Food: Overall, the service felt inattentive and the food didn't stand out enough to make up for it. With so many great Italian restaurants out there, this one just didn't leave a reason for us to return.
