Do yourself a favor, if you must order from them, pick it up yourself. Then you have a chance that it will be semi warm. Their delivery situation is horrible. Missing items , delayed delivery and extremely cold food is the norm. The staff does not care. The food when it's hot is okay. We tried Bambino's for the first time last week and really liked it! We got the New York style pizza and some breadsticks. The breadsticks for 3.99 were AWESOME!!! Tons of bang for your buck. The pizza was good and the crust was nice and crispy. Very generous with the toppings. I never received my food, when calling HEELOW the manager of the store to confront him of the issue I was the problem because "someone else opened my door" when no one ever fucking shower up to knock on it! More than disappointed recently; especially this evening. Placed an order online. Got a call indicating they were out of a topping. Okay, that happens. Got to the store, the counter clerk asked for $2.50 in payment more than the online total. When told that was not what the amount was...and that the amount needed to be adjusted an additional $1.75 since they removed a topping...it required additional intervention. (it's thoroughly unclear why all of the sudden the order jumped in price by $2.50 in the first place). The reality is even more should've come off, as they forgot the extra sauce cups that were ordered and paid for. All in all, disappointing. read more

If you are into non-chain pizza places, this is the place to go. Both the thin and New York style crusts are great as well as the toppings. Have had the pepperoni pizza and deluxe pizzas. Based on just those two pizzas we have ordered only from here since. Great addition to the community and delivery has been 30-45 minutes which is expected in my opinion when calling for a pizza to be delivered. read more

Let me start by saying this is my favorite pizza place in Toledo, when I heard that they're coming to sylvania I was ecstatic!! I came in yesterday for some pizza and let me tell you this is easily the best pizza place in the area. The pizza was rich in flavor and the prices were more than reasonable. The owner was really nice and out pizza was made very quickly. Disappointed in service- I've been going to Bambino's for two years and never had a service issue until I placed an order last night for delivery. After being told is would be 40 min to an hour for delivery, well after an hour and 20 minutes and no delivery- i called and they said they had no drivers so we decided to pick it up. This will be my 3rd delivery from the Bam. On the 1st 2, the driver had to call me several times to find me. So, ok. But the 2nd time, the same driver, again several calls to find me. That I ordered a double chburger my special request was no condiments, but I listed them all, in other words let tom, & onion. When he finally got here the burger was plain! I also ordered a 24oz cherry Pepsi and I asked for no ice. Well, it turns out what they mean is 2 12oz cans. They didn't have the Pepsi so the driver substituted a Dr pepper, and an Orange Crush. This was the WORST food I have ever had. We ordered multiple dishes and appetizers to try and share among six people. NONE of it was edible beyond the first bite. This was our first order from Bambino's / Grub Hub. It was to take 60 -70 minutes to be delivered. It took nearly an additional two hours beyond that to come. Everything was warm, but not hot. The Caesar salad had plenty of chicken, but no croutons and the cheese appeared to be powdered. The cheesy bread was chewy and tasty . The two pizzas were average tasting; lacking in flavorful sauce and enough cheese. Toppings were plentiful. The crusts both thin and hand tossed were good. The pizza is good but was discouraged with a 45 minute wait but to have my order show up with out the beverage then whem they returned with the beverage, it was even the proper beverage. I'm fairly certain we have enjoyed pizza from every pizza shop in our neighborhood. I have never ordered from Bambinos before. We received some coupons in the mail and I decided to give them a call and use a coupon. We were to get the pizza delivered. Whomever answered the phone was polite enough but after I placed my order he told me the price which did not match the coupon price. I asked why. I was informed that if you substitute and item on a specialty pizza there is a $1 additional charge. I wanted pepperoni instead of bacon. My question is why the additional charge? Its a meat for a meat. It costs the restaurant nothing to substitute an item for an item. The young man just told me its the policy. Any other pizza restaurant will substitute and item. Now, I will never know if their product is any better or worse than anyplace else in town. One would think with the plethora of pizza restaurants Toledo has to choose from they wouldn't alienate a first time customer. You only have once chance to make a first impression. I immediately called, and informed them of the missing item. They said they would call the driver and give me a call back. Never received the call back. 30 minutes later I call, once again asking about the missing item. Now I am being told that the item was left by my door, then I am told that the item was delivered to the wrong house, and finally I am told that they are out of the item, and was unable to deliver it in the first place. I ordered boneless wings, I was given bone in wings with cream cheese poppers. Breaking for the poppers was soggy. I was also under the impression the cheesecake was made fresh in house and it's not.
