Walking in the restaurant was well clean and organized. Was greeted with a smile - excellent. Ordering was quick and easy - wait time was around 15 min from order to receipt - pizza was hot and placed in a very sturdy box - product look well cooked and prepared - cheese was good and stringy - now the difficult part for me for a Meat pizza I was very underwhelmed looked like a frozen pizza from any store not what I would expect from a freshly made pizza - for me the tiny cubed ham underwhelming and hard to chew - bacon taste nonexistent - sausage taste is prominent but only thing I'm chewing is ham - crust has a sweet taste not over powering but acceptable - overall spices and any other flavor you'd love from a fresh made pizza wasn't present for me at all - overall it's a decent pizza, juicy, well made just underwhelming run of the mill pizza compared to other options available in the area - I won't be going back personally doesn't work for me but for the average non-pizza connoisseur out there it's a good product for a reasonable price and should be just fine - bon appetite pizza hunters!! read more

The pizza was good! Ordered a club sub and got a chicken club sub. When my husband ordered, he said a club sub. The guy on the phone asked what kind. He said one with ham and turkey on it and the guy said that's a club sub. (No kidding.) Still gave me the wrong item. This is probably my favorite pizza in America, and better than anything I've eaten in Italy, too. What's that? Why, yes, I did say that Gino's was my favorite pizza in all the world. The catch is that Amie's and Gino's are, essentially, the same pizza (Mancino's on Airport Hwy, too). They have, essentially, the same sweet sauce, the same crispy edges, etc. There is, of course, an interesting and ironic story about why this is so. For my money, this is "Toledo Style" pizza. Used to eat here all the times with our neighbors. None of us frequent this place anymore since the daughter took over. She told patrons in front of us who were complaining about the food that if they didn't like it they didnt have to come back again. Can you imagine the owners own daughter actually saying this to patrons. When the owner was there, things were good but the second she was gone and her daughter was there, it went to pot. The toppings that you would pay double for were not put on the pizzas. The amount of toppings were less and less as time went on. Their spaghetti sauce which used to be the best in town became more and more watery as time went on. It was sad to see this and we were surprised that the owner didnt do anything about it. We actually bumped into her and she asked us why we no longer coming in to her restaurant. We didnt have the heart to tell her about her daughter. We drive by the place now and it is usually pretty empty. We now frequest Gino's as there food and amount of toppings has never changed. read more

I had a $3 cheese personal pizza and was reminded of Home Run Inn's pizzas in Chicago. That's not a great pizza, but it could be worse. If you do order a personal, know that they are super tiny and won't satisfy a large appetite. This place has some super pizzas. I have had the taco,cheeseburger add pickles,pepperoni, and the pizza of all pizzas the Reuben. They also have great desserts,cookies,carrot cake,chocolate cake. Celebrating National Pizza Day! To begin, the pizza at Amie's deserves a 5! Tonight we had the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was right on the spot! Delish! The Greek Salad was simply average. I am not a fan of head lettuce only salads, I expect a mixture with romaine or something else. As for the service and atmosphere, I give a 2. It's National Pizza day and nobody would have ever known because nobody smiles! While our pizza was being server, our drink was accidentally knocked over on my husband's leg. Neither of us heard an apology nor did he offer to replace the drink, when we asked he seemed annoyed. Finally, when we asked for a box to take home the rest of the pizza he tried to give us a styrofoam box, then the smallest box until we finally managed to get the right size box for the amount of pizza we had left. We love the pizza here always. We decided to try the gluten free crust one night and unfortunately it was absolutely awful. We've eaten gluten free pizza crusts all over the country - they're typically crispy and crunchy and similar to a great thin crust regular pizza, but Aime's needs to go back to the drawing boards and figure out how to make a better GF crust. read more

Just ate at Amies!! It was fantastic. Very good crust, not to thick or thin. Flavors are very good. Sauce is a little sweet, but not over the top!! Stopped in for the gluten free pizza on our way through. They gave us a choice of regular or seasoned crust. We went with seasoned. Unfortunately, our pizza came to us cold and we didn't have time to have it remade. Seasoned crust was a nice touch, Cheese was good, sauce was OVERLY sweet. We are regulars here because both my kids love it. As a whole, the pizza is very good, a little pricey for the amount you get but the quality is usually very good. My two complaints today were simple. First, the service was less than friendly. I know people have bad days and Valentine's Day stinks for some, but we are the customer. We came specifically for "heart" shaped pizza that they use to do on Valentine's. We asked for them and the people behind the counter acted like we ask for a sacrifice. We were told that we haven't done those for the last two years bc they were extremely hard to make. The kids were disappointed, but know sympathy from Aimee's. When they brought out the food, it was literally thrown on the little table and the food brought out one thing at a time. Never a sorry or a smile. Then the white pizza had liquid on top and I asked what it was. The response was garlic sauce. It was not drizzled bit a pool of this "sauce" on top of the pizza. It was an edible until we soaked it up with napkins. And we never got, "how was your food" or "is there anything else we could do" or even a "smile" would have been nice.
