This hidden gem is awesome!!! The customer service is amazing, family business packed with laughter and stories, and making every customer feel like family. The walk up pizzeria reminds me of a NY corner joint that sale huge slices, however it doesn't have seating inside. It is truly a take out pizzeria. Ambiance is old school and is packed with generations of charm. The pizza was loaded with cheese and the crust was AMAZING!!!! I wasn't expecting this from this small location, however when it's stored good things come in small packages, they meant Gino's!!!! Will definitely return next trip!! read more

First. This place has been here for many many moons and I have never gone to it because I can never find a menu or pricing. Two. It is run by a family and everyone you encounter is very very sweet. However they've got to work on their customer service. I couldn't find an updated menu for the last 9 years and zero prices. When I called to place an order for pickup because they have no online ordering of course. I wasn't even given a price after placing the order. I had to say hey wait a minute can you tell me what the price is. And the person on the other end said well it depends. There's a price for cash and a price for card. Okay well what are they? And this has happened the two times that I've been there. I don't know about you but I like to know how much things are. Now the pizza sauce is a little bit sweet and more of a thin crust pizza. Pizzas come in small large n xlarge. Yeah Im not sure what that equals to either. It's very difficult to see the toppings that are on the pieces since they put them under the cheese and not a whole lot of them. But as I was getting tired of eating at all the other places around town I figured I would give them a shot. The pizza is definitely above average and when I went in and took a picture of their board which still doesn't have any prices I saw that they do have garlic bread and wings. I did not order any of these things because of course there are no prices and I did ask if they had anything listing prices. They indicated that the person who was designing their web page passed away at the beginning of the year. It's now October. They still don't have anything to give to customers for pricing so if you call in an order make sure and ask the price before they hang up. read more

Absolutely outstanding pizza from a small, family owned business that is dedicated to consistently delivering a high quality, unique and delicious hand made (from scratch) pizza - for decades. I have eaten Gino's Pizza since the late 1960s. This is my least favorite. It is a good pizza. Lots of cheese, and quality toppings. Sauce is no where near as flavorful as the current Monroe Street location. Very disappointing. The crust had a nice crispy edge. Again, very bland flavor. Since their website is down, and I wasn't given a total on the phone, I was surprised by the total cost. The 3 employees I saw were very friendly. read more

This is the "other Gino's." No dining room. No delivery. Just great pizza and salad. This is a tiny little family owned place in south Toledo with minimal frills. The whole family works here, including, occasionally, the six year old daughter who operates the cash register (and did a damned impressive job, I must say). The pie here is very similar to the better known "Original Gino's" (and, thus, similar to Amie's and Mancino's south). BUT, there is one very important difference...the sauce. You say that you like pretty much everything else about the places I just mentioned, but you don't dig the overly sweet pizza sauce? Then this is the pizza for you. The sauce is tangy and flavorful, but not overly sweet. I like both styles equally. Crust: Medium thickness, soft and fold-able. Cheese: Golden brown. And plentiful. And greasy. (Good greasy, not bad greasy). The cheese doesn't caramelize all at the periphery of the pie, so I can't really call it #TOLEDOSTYLE pizza, but it's close. Like the other place in town called Gino's, this pizza is a little expensive, but in my opinion, it's well worth it. read more

When I arrived to pick up my pizza, the staff tried to gaslight me into thinking I called the wrong store, when I pulled out my phone and showed them that I did call their store, they finally took accountability and told me I'd have to wait for 30 more minutes. Nobody even attempted to apologize until after I told them to cancel my order. They also decide to blindside each and every customer with a "cash only" policy that they fail to mention until you arrive at the store. Like much of the best pizza in this town (Amie's, Mancino's, PizzaCat, etc), Gino's Italian Delites is a little expensive. In this town, at least in terms of pizza, you get what you pay for. This is a great product. The sauce is especially flavorful, without being sweet. That sauce, along with lots of golden brown cheese, served on top of a perfectly done, soft, medium-thick crust, makes for a great pizza. (If the cheese extended all the way to the edge of the pizza, and was crispy, I'd call this Toledo Style pizza at it's best). read more

In my opinion, some of the best pizza in Toledo, perhaps even THE best pizza in Toledo. I see some complaints that it's "expensive" and I'll grant that their large is 12 inches, which is not very big for a large, and the specialty pizzas listed on the menu don't have prices next to them- and I didn't ask, so maybe they ARE high. But individual toppings are only $1 at most, they are generous with the cheese, and for the quality of pizza served here, the prices truly are very fair. The sausage is especially good. I paid $18 for an xl two-topping, they didn't charge extra for a split topping, and it fed two people for two meals. Not only was that price just fine but the pizza was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS and, I'll reiterate, among the best in town. read more

Arrived had to go to ATM came back played 18.00 for large pizza which I don't mind paying if pizza is quaility but not here. Got home opened box found a burnt pizza with no taste Awful pizza. Great pizza, personable atmosphere, and friendly staff. Grandma makes a good pie! One of the great local pizzerias you'll find. They DO accept credit cards, so don't worry! Also the website is down if you did want to take a gander at the restaurant before you stop in, no take out menus, and cash only. I'd heard about how this was "Toledo's Best Pizza" but sadly its not. I'd had better pizza from Hungry Howie's back in the day. Cash only, no credit cards accepted. My pizza was burnt and they didn't want to remake it for me. The taste would have been okay if it wasn't burnt, but not best. Be prepared to spend a lot of money here as their pizzas are not cheap. Don't expect to feed the whole family on one pie, grab some salad at the store to fill you and the kids up cause the pizza won't go very far. read more

On taste alone, this would be a 4 or 5-star review. The crust had a crisp and chewiness; the sauce was slightly sweet and the cheese was baked to a nice brown. Unfortunately, the size of a large pizza is 12 inches (we measured) and the price was $13 for a pepperoni and mushroom that barely fed the two of us. It's a shame because the pizza was spot on, but there is no justification for the high price tag. I guess we are still on the hunt for our local pizza place. read more

Expensive. Ordered 2 large pizzas, 1 a supreme the other an all meat. Cost $39.50. These large are the size of Marco's medium. Don't know if we'll go back again because of the sizes. I'd hate to see what a medium is like from here read more

My Family has been going Gino's from the start. Being a Old Southie I started on Broadway, once that was gone I movie to THE Gino's on Arlington when it was custom for me to go in and order my pizza to go and enjoy a frosty pint at the bar. There was more motivation then that. You see the place was busy, one phone line and ring all the time unless the phone was off the hook do to it being like that. And the fight between Mom and Daughter was great. Now that it has closed I have been traveling out to the 3rd one; trip worth it.. Tonight's pie was a Green Olive and Pepperoni topping and it was great...So for you in Toledo call in your Pie give a good 45 mins. don't rush them let that Old Italian magic do it's work in that oven and you will sing..Here's to an old true American story Two Sisters making pizza sauce handed down the years.
