The best pizza in town and one of the best that I've ever tried. Their subs, calzones and chicken parm are also really good. Been here a few times since I've moved to the neighborhood and everything that I have tried was delicious. Service is good and usually only have a 30 minute wait. Restaurant is small but very clean. During lunch they also sell pizza by the slice. They also serve desserts.

Small place. Only one table, so more of a to-go place. Pizza is delicious! Generous toppings and crispy on crust. The buffalo chicken bread is worth a try, we really enjoyed it. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

We wanted an easy carry out dinner for our family while in town and I'm so glad we picked Mazza's. We got a large, Detroit style pizza and small cheese bread for $24 and was enough to feed the three of us two times each. The pizza was perfection and the cheese bread delicious. The woman at the counter was very nice and everything was fresh. Couldn't recommend this place more. Wish we had one where I live! read more

Amazing that you have to go to Ohio to get the best Detroit pizza! This place charmed me from the start. It's carry out only but has an open area where you watch the pizzas being made. The crusts are hand tossed They have pasta and pizza on the menus. The lovely scent of a pizza place hits you as you come in. The Detroit style pizza has sauce ladled all over it as it should. With lovely large hunks of ham and other meats Prices are not outrageous either I would go back even though I don't live in the area! read more

We drove in without stopping from Cleveland (on our way to Detroit), not realizing this place didn't have public bathrooms. They were nice and let us use the staff bathrooms anyway. And then while we waited for our food, they randomly gave my 8 y.o. some pizza dough to take home! So sweet. Turns out the pizza was really good too, nice thin crispy crust, superlative sauce, and good quality cheese (if a slightly overwhelming amount of it). Also, a large was only $10 I think, it was super affordable. No eat-in here, it's all take-out, so be aware of that too. read more

Fast friendly service. Delicious pizza! We've never tried Detroit style, but we are big big fans now! Got a hot tip on the cheesy bread and loved it too! No where to sit in the restaurant, but about 2 mins away is a park (Harry Kessler Park) and there is a structure with 4 picnic tables just next to the tennis courts where you can park & eat picnic style. Will without a doubt eat here next time we pass thru. Also heard the manicotti is to die for. Something to look forward to! We only waited 25 mins for our pizza & cheesy bread, exactly as promised. read more

This place has amazing pizza! From the minute you walk in it smells amazing!! The Detroit pizza was delicious!! Cheese pizza was also excellent!! I lived in NYC for 10 years, I know my pizza! Trust me you won't regret it. The price is also incredible. read more

We are always on the lookout for the best pizza in the area and need to try them all. I don't get over to the Point often but made the trip for Mazza. Which I'm glad we did, the food was really great and the staff were friendly. It would be great if you could order online. Also the ranch was a miss. Besides that it was all amazing. Mazza's saved the day! After a long day of travel and unsavory food at my father's 60yr. high school reunion, I rushed to Mazza's with less than 6 minutes before they closed hoping that they would take my order. When entering the restaurant they asked me if I was here to pick-up an order and I said no. She said, "well we are open until 9:30 so let's take your oder". Unbelievable customer service...unbelievable team members...unbelievable pizza. If you're ever out on the point, go treat yourself to some excellent pie!!! read more

In the area and looking for a good pie. We went based on reviews and pics. We ordered a pizza and steak sub. We should have just got the pie. To start the roll for the sandwich was well done to the point of being crumbled and the quality of the great left lots to be desired. Lots of large chunks of grissle. The pizza could have been better but my fault for ordering one with to many toppings. Oh well. . read more

Ordered two large pizzas, was told it will be ready in 45 min. Ok no problem, I can be there in less then 3 min from home. They called at 30 min and said the pizza's were ready. Ok great, again no problem as I live so close. Return home with the pizzas and they had obviously been sitting around for at least 15 min BEFORE they called, as to they were cold like left over pizza. As well as really greasy and under cooked. This was not a cheap pizza place. I expected more. This was just bad business. I will not repeat the mistake of giving them my business again. read more

Tried yesterday. Staff was super friendly and tossed in some freebies. Pan style was great, hand tossed was great, flatbread chicken chipotle was amazing, wings were large and decent, dessert was huge, and the cheese bread was also amazing with tons of cheese. The pizza is always hot and fresh when I receive it. The sauce they use is different from what most pizza places use, and it's so delicious!! When I call and order the staff is always kind and very helpful, and the delivery drivers are also sweet and have positive attitudes..I've been ordering here for almost a year now and I refuse to order from a different pizza place. Mazza's is mine and my husband's favorite spot. Highly recommend especially to all the pizza lovers out there! read more

I'm from out of town staying at a hotel. They handed me a menu telling me they are a family owned business. I will support them before a chain. Ordered a pizza and a salad and everything is good along with the delivery driver. There was a small mess up but driver took care of it so it's still 5 stars. We all make errors once in awhile. read more

Honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Dough tasted fresh, sauce homemade and cheese an amazing blend versus just mozzarella. Crust was crunchy in the corners and puffy inside. Stopped on the way home from the African Safari Park on the way back to Michigan so of course ordered a Detroit style. Truthfully was better than the Detroit style pizzas at "home". Definitely recommend it and will eat there again on my way through town. read more

Amazing! Finally a Pizza place that bakes pizza in an oven. I'm so tired of conveyor-belt pizza. The point of going out to eat is to have someone cook for you. Pete, the owner and head pizza guy is amazing at his craft. I love the specials; stuffed peppers, fruit pizza, cannoli, and lasagna. It's refreshing to see a pizza place that's not afraid to try new things and let customers decide what they like. I drive all the way from Rossford, OH to get Mazza pizza. Nothing else compares. A true family business. Keep up the good work guys. read more

But in all seriousness, this place had a very large menu with many different options to choose from, which I always love. I ordered the "club classic "with french fries and a side of the smoked Gouda mac & cheese. As you can see in the photo of the sandwich is a serious sandwich that was very large and I could only eat half of it. The ingredients were fresh and I loved how toasted the bread was. We are from out of town & staying in a hotel... googled pizza delivery & this place popped up. Pictures looked good so we gave it a try. The customer service & food well exceeded our expectations! The person taking the order asked if we needed plate & napkins... I had not even thought through that yet.... the pizza was delivered sooner than expected & the delivery guy was super nice and personable. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Thanks guys!
