Stopped in here on a late Friday afternoon and was kind of surprised how dead the area was, but happy to find this place. They had a huge beer menu and a the pizza looked good, so we stopped in for a bite. Tried the breadsticks first and they were meh - just pizza dough twisted served with cold marinara (that if it had any seasoning it was extremely light as it just tasted of tomato - although fresh tomato). I got a calzone for my meal and it was good. Like not out of this world good, but decent. I liked the variety of beers (although they seemed to be out of a few). Service was extremely slow, although there only seemed to be one server and she was bartender, online order filler and waitress (so he had a lot on her plate). It was an easy going vibe. Food was good not great, but decent.

Despite going to Seattle Center for shows regularly, this is our first visit to Bambino's Pizzeria. I always have a fear that places too near SC are tourist traps. The reviews are rather random with a love-it or hate-it pendulum. We had a good overall experience. The restaurant itself is in an older building. What we can see looked respectable enough, although my husband did advise me to skip the bathroom. Our server is enthusiastic and eager; he bought us menu, water, food expeditiously. After reading the reviews, we kept our orders to entrees only. Street parking only. Family friendly. The Food: Primavera pizza, 10", $18 - 4 Stars Menu: Tomato Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms, Olives, Tomatoes The menu specifically says they bake their pizzas to 'dark'. When the pizza arrived, it just looks normal to me. I have seen much, much darker (i.e. too dark). The pizza is fully loaded with lots of veggies. The center did get soggy, so it didn't pass the New York test, if you know that rule. It is possible this will happen only for the veggie pizza. The crust has a fantastic chew. I regularly don't eat the crust, but I did with this one. The sauce could use a wee bit more herbs, seasonings. I added pepper flakes to compensate. Overall, I am sufficiently satisfied. Pancrazio calzoni, $16 - 4 Stars Menu: Italian Sausage, Mushrooms The calzone arrived at our table perfectly puffy, as it should be. It is a good size for one person. The inside is well stuffed. The sausage adds more flavor than the veggies; the sauce didn't seem under-flavored in the calzone. My hubby was happy with it, though he managed to find the appetite to eat one big slice of my pizza, too. Honestly, for their location and proximity to Seattle Center, I thought their prices and amount of food are very reasonable and perfectly good for locals to eat here. This explains why there were at least two tables of regulars who chatted with the staff and left with 'see you next time'. We can see ourselves returning for a quick meal before a show, too.

Avoid if you can. Only restaurant available on NYE, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Stopped in for drinks and a quick bite. Got a Moscow mule, which was unbalanced and bitter. The Italian margarita wasn't much better. Got the breadsticks, and they came underdone and tasting blander than church wafers. the marinara was like store bought and the watered down. They brought marinara in these huge ramekins but only 1/4 filled. Wait time was 30 minutes for drinks and bread. No gelato either even though they had multiple flavors on the menus. Service was meh at best, the ambiance was very cozy just do better with food and drinks.

In a neighborhood full of 21+ restaurants this place is family friendly. The service was meh. They weren't busy but it took a long time for us to get drinks and refills. The breadsticks - zero stars. They have no flavor, no garlic or butter. Just dry bread. The marinara sauce is different. I can't put my finger on it but none of us liked it. The pizza - 3 stars. The sauce on the pizza is different than the sauce for the breadsticks and I'm really glad it was. They cook their pizza with dark crust so if you like it light you have to tell them.

Not sure why this place has the rating it did but it was one of the best pizzas we have had, the crust was perfect and it had the best cheese pull and toppings. We went on a Tuesday around 3pm and it was slow so the workers were attentive and nice - great service / they were sweet. highly recommend if in the area

I had high hopes for Bambino's, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations. The salad was decent (Insalata Di Noci Salad)-- fresh enough to earn a 3/5 -- but the pizza was underwhelming at best, closer to 2/5 in terms of flavor and texture. To make matters worse, the server accidentally spilled my drink, and half of it ended up in my lap. There was no offer of napkins, no partial credit and not even a refill -- just an awkward moment and poor service that left a lasting impression (literally and figuratively).

A local suggested this place. We had the Tropical and Bambino pizzas. Not impressed at all!!! No flavor to the sauce, pizza was mushy and overall very bland tasting. Will not be returning.

We stopped in for an afternoon snack so take this with a grain of salt. We ordered the breadsticks and Calorosa pizza. Breadsticks are rolled up pizza doughs, which is a fun concept but they're actually just extremely bland. The cold marinara has some seasoning but the contrast of freezing cold tomato sauce and steaming hot dough is off-putting. My friends said that the pizza was good, a bit greasy, but hot and tasty. Seems like a sporty, casual hipster place. Not super busy at 3pm, they also have a happy hour around 4pm so maybe it picks up more in the evening. We were the only patrons in the restaurant. Service was quick and attentive, but kept pressuring us to order more food since we got a small pizza to share. It was a little awkward.

3.5 stars Love the cozy, homestyle interior with the open kitchen :) Pork belly Appetizer ($13) - Yummy - I wish the pork belly had been salted or seasoned some, though it was delicious. The breadsticks that come with it are sizeable. I asked for a side of marinara too which was just okay - it was weirdly watery whereas I think I prefer a sweeter marinara. Pepperoni Pizza (10") ($15) - So yummy! I love the kind of pepperoni that crisps up when it bakes. Polite staff.

    Truffle oil and mushroom pizza

Good wood oven fired pizza. The. Breadsticks are amazing. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I love this place so much better than the chain restaurants and they have good prices.

We came as a party of 2 on Pride Sunday! This was a great way to beat the heat. It was slammed, but we still enjoyed great service. We had their caesar salad and split a 10 inch Capricciosa pizza. I absolutely love the quality of their food-they wood fired the crust and the ingredients they used were fresh. I would love to come back for some beer.

We dropped in for brunch, and were thrilled to find a place that is both pretty and delicious. Service is walk up and quick and friendly. There's a great brunch selection - we got tacos and a breakfast burrito. The potatoes were some of the best I have had. Ambiance is techno retro and comfortable with a waterside vibe (although you can't really see the water). Would recommend!

5 Stars - Bonus point galore…read more.. Stopped by this spot on perfect Seattle Sunday - almost 70 degrees out without a cloud in the sky, and this place is right across the street from the waterfront. This is the exact type of spot I wish Seattle had more of - simple concept with food/drinks that really stand out. You order at the front, grab a seat on the patio or inside, and wait for the food to be brought out. I also love how dog friendly this place is! Bonus points for sure. They usually have 10-15 beers on tap and a list of house made cocktails. I went with their light Lightning Harp and the girlfriend went with the SYSTEM_REBOOT.EXE (great name, wow) which was light/crispy/sweet/herby-freshness and was insanely good. For food, we usually just get their basket of fires and their fancy ranch. I MUST SAY, this fancy ranch is top tier, the epitome of what ranch should be, and might be the best I have ever had - no notes and more bonus points. This time, we decided to try a few other food items. Chips w queso and their fried mushrooms as starters - chips are seasoned with s&p and maybe chili powder? Honestly, the chips were great. Queso has never been my favorite, and their version of this cheese dip seemed to be lacking something. Girlfriend loved it, but not my favorite. Fried mushrooms were perfect - light and crispy outside with meaty mushroom center, and of course the fancy ranch as a dipper made this a delightful snack. The last thing we ordered to share was their iteration of the Seattle Hotdog. I will be getting this hotdog every single time we come back moving forward. Every single part of this dish was done perfectly - bun was very light with crispy outside and soft inside. Also not too much bun, I always find myself ripping off excess bun with hotdogs, but not here (today lol). The wiener was perfect size (pause) in every sense of the way. Just the right amount of cream cheese. AND THEY USED FRIED JALAPENOS! I did not think fried jalapenos would be such a game changer, but my god they were so frickin good that give the perfect crispy texture and heat. This is a great spot to grab a beer and snack, and especially good on a blue bird Seattle Sunday :)

Wow, this review is 8 years old! I want to share my experience with Some Random Bar…read more In 2017, my mom and I visited Seattle for me to look at apartments and interview for jobs. We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

I remembered that their drinks and bourbon selection/pricing used to be incredible. As with all things lately, prices have gone up on some of their rarer pours. The standard basic cocktails though were still reasonable and decently priced for the location. The atmosphere is great and service was pretty quick. The outdoor patio is still there which was a nice addition from 2019/2020 era. Some of their bourbons are still reasonably priced. Their food is pretty good. Would recommend the tacos, the burger, and carne asada. The nachos were not particularly for me, and also seemed to come out cold. Seemed to have cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. It was a cold day however. This place is mainly great for happy hour after work, but will come back and try dinner another time. Staff is great though. Really quaint and awesome spot to post up. good food, good service, good drinks, good selection, and still better pricing than most bars with what they have to offer. Will be going back again sooner. cheers

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
