I have waited to use this business a few times before writing a review to ensure my review was not based upon a one-off experience. After multiple car washes, I can confidently write a full review of my experiences using Bamboo Car Wash. My first visit was after having my truck worked on to repair the air conditioner. It had sat outside for several months and was filthy from pollen and spider webs. It took a second trip to clean the truck fully, but that got everything off. Now, with regular washes, I have been completely satisfied and happy with each wash. My truck comes out clean, and despite being a tunnel wash, it is as good as a hand wash. The vacuums outside are included in your wash package, so it is a one-stop shop. Outside they even include glass cleaner, rags, and car deodorizers of different varieties so you leave like you just left a detailer at a fraction of the cost. I drive a 1999 Ford F150, so my truck has some minor road and parking lot bruises in the paint and finish, but I am often told it is the cleanest truck on the road. I read other reviews that talk about finding scratches and damage to their vehicle, but I check my truck closely after each wash and have not found any damage or imperfections to the finish. I am confident that Bamboo Car Wash is safer on my truck than parking in the Kroger parking lot next door. read more

Had to run my vehicle through twice. After you pay and enter the facility The gentleman standing at the entrance with wash buckets and a brush are a wasted process. They basically splash a little water on the front of your car and scrub nothing on your vehicle that needs more attention. Don't think I'll return as my vehicle should've looked better for the price that I paid. read more

This place was the second full service car wash in the Marketplace area. I prefer the pull up method or reading my plate. Since I park outside I use the wash a couple of times a week so my vehicle stays clean. The gentlemen have always been nice and friendly when I have asked for things. The facility is pretty. And cute. Happy. Best part is my car was clean and the vacuums actually had awesome suction. It's new so like most car washes it may lose its sparkle. Price is ok, I'm used to paying $11 for the 2nd package (one up from the basic $7) I like that there's not guide rails (rim scratchers) Vacuum Bay Area is awesome. They have glass cleaners, wipes, and fragrance! Mister car wash doesn't have that anymore... Bamboo Car Wash in Dawsonville, GA was great until it wasn't. I bought a package deal and was very pleased with the results. Not so much this last time. Car came out dirtier than when it went in. Windshield was dirty. Tires not completed shined. It's my understanding that car washes use the same recycled water to wash everyone's car. If they have a water filtration system it's not doing the job. Need I say more. Perhaps the car wash down the road will do a better job. I will say the employees are top notch. read more

I wanted to email Bamboo Car Wash directly but, their website does not provide an email address. So, I have no alternative than to write this review. Today was my second time using Bamboo Car Wash. While my brand new 2023 Camry XSE for the most part, has also come out clean when I have used Bamboo Car Wash, the rims have only been half clean and I had to wipe off the remaining dirt by hand. The more problematic issue is the rear of the vehicle is always completely soapy after coming out of the tunnel and I have had to use quite a few drying rags they supply to wipe the soap off. The convenience of going through a car wash is so I would not have to do this. I could save $22.00 washing by hand and drying by hand. I've been paying $19 a month to go as many times as I would like. It was great for six months then all of a sudden I had a hard water stains on my car from the last two weeks it's January 2023 I met with the manager and ask him to do something about it to have the car buffed out or give me the money to have it buffed out or just stand behind his business he refused to do anything he agreed. It was hard water stains, and said it came from well water I don't have well water .I don't wash my car at home the only place I get my car done is with bamboo. If you wanna continue washing your car at bamboo service just be aware that they're not gonna stand behind it if something goes wrong. read more

My wife recently got a membership here...and now the back of my wifes vehicle has uniform scratches under the tail lamps, and i know for a fact its either the wash itself or the guys with the brushes prior to the wash, most likely the brushes before the actual wash. This is about Bamboo Carwash in Dawsonville. I took my new rav4 through the car wash and when I pulled to the vacuum side I notice what look like chemical damage and scratches to my wheels. I spoke to an employee who then brought the "so called " manager over. He went and checked some other cars and came back with the answer of " you need to contact the dealership because it didn't happen here." I told him it wasn't like this prior and it hasn't even been washed before today since I purchased it in December. I didn't even have a tag on the car. I asked for the owners name and he said he could not tell me that information. I asked for him to take my information to give to the owner so he could contact me and he said he would not do that. I proceeded to call the police to make a report to send to my insurance and that made him mad that I was doing it and he walked off. He then proceeded to y'all from approximately 6 cars down " make sure you call the non emergency number and not 911." When the police officer came she looked at the damage and rubbed her finger on it she said it was wax. I was so relieved. I had to then had to hunt down the manager thinking he might want to know the outcome. He finally came out and I explained to him what the officer said of which he didn't seem to care and proceeded to give him some advise on being a manager. I told him first he should always introduce himself as he still would not tell me his name after I asked 3 times. I also advised him to know his products and to make sure his staff has them in the correct lines and at that point he walked away from me and told me to leave "his" property. i called back and the staff would not give me his name either. BUT, I did not want to continue (it did not suit my schedule) and I called to not have them bill me again...I could not get a soul on the phone...I left message(s) and no call returned...and, then yesterday they billed my bank $39.95!!! I swore off automated car washes after another local car wash scratched my rims with the "rail system" for guiding the car through. I happened to take one of my work vehicles to bamboo and saw that they don't have the rail system. Your car actually rides on a belt system. I would recommend getting just the basic wash for $7. The bay area is what is really attractive. It has super strong vacuums and an air gun for blowing dust out of crevices. I bring my on bucket with tire shine, towels and interior spray. They have towels and spray, but I prefer my own. The automated tire shine is a joke, don't even bother. read more

Worst car wash I have ever been to. I paid $16 and was supposed to get tire shine. After I went through the wash there were a couple of little spots where the shine had hit the tire but the rest was not covered. I asked one of the employees if they could give me some tire shire to fix it and he started telling me how much they spend on it and that they wouldn't fix it (basically you get what you get). He would not go and get his manager after I asked him to. I found the manager myself and he apologzed and said they had no tire shine but I could run my car back through. I had already dried the car and had been there for a very long time and sure didn't want to drive back through the car wash and get the same result. What car wash doesn't have tire shine? I have been to the car wash many times before it was bamboo car wash and it was actually a decent car wash. Now that this bamboo company has taken over I have a brand new truck I've had for maybe two weeks that has a broken antenna and a dent in the hood. The employee failed to remove it before it went through the wash. I was told by two managers and the employee that there is nothing they can do. When I asked to have the owner reach out to me I was told that I would have to go on Facebook and send a message to get in touch with him. Not sure who operates a business this way but it definitely lost a customer who has been to this establishment many times over the years. read more
