Not the best food but it's fast. I got soups because I saw the many reviews about their food not being the best and the restaurant if you go see for yourself kind of reflects that. I don't think I will be ordering or eating from here again. I got a hot and sour soup and wonton soup. The hot and sour soup taste wasn't that great and the vegetable to soup ratio was like 2:1, there was definitely a lot of vegetables. The wonton soup was very regular and the wonton wraps were too soft while the meat was rubbery. Absolutely awful. Got chicken with snow peas, beef with string beans, vegetable chow mein, vegetable spring rolls, and scallion pancakes. The only ok thing was the scallion pancakes. I wanted to try a new Chinese place that was nearby, and I had a menu for Bamboo in my kitchen. I didn't plan on getting any sushi, but I'm one of those that has to try everyone's version of Spicy Tuna. The first time I ordered from here, I got a Spicy Tuna roll, some Gyoza, and two Chinese entrees. Every time since, when I can't decide if I want Chinese or Japanese, I have ordered their Spicy Tuna - it's the spiciest Spicy Tuna I've ever tried. Thank god for Bamboo! All the other Chinese delivery places are terrible, especially in comparison to the newly opened Bamboo. The Young Chow friend rice is amazing, a nice light version of a house special friend rice, cooked with less soy sauce, but still very flavorful. The Lo Mien is made with thin udon style noodles, instead of the typical spaghetti noodles used at most places. Anything tempura from them is perfectly battered, light, and crispy, yet not super oily. The pork chow fun, was packed with pork and chow fun noodles, with only a smattering of cabbage. The generals chicken is the best I ever had in my life!!!! And I have had a lot of it.

I have come here three times now. Every single time I get an attitude and she even move the tip jar with one dollar in it and looked at me like I was going to steal from her. That's not all the only thing that's good to here the white rice. The chicken is pre-cooked and dry, The sauce is saturated and watered down. They add celery and carrots and peanuts to compensate for a meal. Every time I come here I asked for no peanuts And this is the third time I'm seeing the same counter person and I still got peanuts even though I didn't ask for them it's not that she didn't understand it's that she didn't care. Only reason my Styrofoam plate was even slightly empty is because i ate the rice and chicken nothing else. read more

I have to say that, for sheer convenience, this place might be winning out--online ordering plus delivery=a godsend on a lazy Sunday night. That said, of the three dishes we ordered, we got brown sauce on two, so I was somewhat underwhelmed. Also, they were out of snap peas, so instead of snap peas and water chestnuts, we got broccoli and water chestnuts--which wasn't really what I was craving. You get what you pay for, I suppose. I was dissatisfied with almost everything my friends and I ordered for delivery one wintry night. It wasn't just "meh." Everything we ordered was slathered in oil. One of us went adventurous and ordered lobster lomein. Oh my goodness. Not only was this not at all lobster, it was almost unidentifiable. I think it was some kind of canned crawfish, but the smell alone was enough to actually discard the dish. Now, we knew we were taking a chance with that order, but we were mortified. The "lobster" looked like hermit crabs that had crawled out of their shells and died. Ughh. We also ordered a couple of hard-to-mess-up sushi rolls. They, too were wanting. There was too much rice, the fish was unidentifiable, the crab was imitation, and the cold dishes came warm because they didn't even try to separate from the warm ones. Sad, sad, sad. read more

If I could have given zero stars I would. I have a sick child at home and ordered several items and specifically placed a note for no substitutions on the one item since it is something comforting to my child's tummy. They called after the order was out for delivery and went ahead and substituted the critical item. The worker was very rude. This restaurant serves edible food at best and there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are better but they said they had the item I needed and the other restaurants did not. First time to try this place and I got takeout. The sushi was terrible and smelled old, not able to eat it. I had to throw it away. Didn't want to get sick on bad fish. I wanted a chinese food restaurant nearby, something closer than taking a drive to Hing Far in Pennsauken, something that would satisfy the craving for Chinese in less than 10 minutes. Sadly, Bamboo is the uneven compromise. We love the steamed pork dumplings, DH says the egg roll isn't too bad, the won ton is good, and the fried rice seems a little dry but doable. The down side is if you order away from the appetizers. I tried the chicken and broccoli last weekend and wow, what a disappointment. The brown sauce lacked any real flavor and seemed watered down, the chicken was close to becoming rubbery and the broccoli just looked...'tired.' Filler was strips of carrots, of which I was okay with but overall, the pint that I ordered was forgetable. After reading some recent reviews here on Yelp, I'll probably stick with what I know from the appetizer menu, and if I really want to satisfy my jones for Chinese, go back to Hing Far. read more

You can't beat this place for delivery. They somehow get decent Chinese food and shockingly good sushi delivered in 30 minutes. I'd advise against the specialty roles but the standard California roll/spicy crab/shrimp tempura rolls are on point. One stop shop. Literally not another word from the staff. Even as I paid and thanked them for my lunch they never uttered another word. I am convinced that, many years from now, scientists may discover that the inhalation of Won Ton soup fumes and other ingredients accompanying the preparation of Chinese food can affect one's mood and general disposition. How else can one explain the lack of friendliness one encounters when ordering from this place over the phone? More often than not, a woman answers the phone when you call to place an order and greets you (THAT'S A STRETCH!) when you arrive to pick up your food. Zero personality skills...a simple 'thank you' for your order, nay, even a slight smile would be an extremely small thing to offer on their part but can go a long way. I've only ordered from them a few times and the Chinese food is mediocre. I decided to give them another shot tonight and placed my order online over an hour go. I just tried calling them twice and no one is answering! I wonder if they are not open today for some reason? If that's the case, they need to turn off online ordering or put up a message on their website!! Now I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company! Meh is about right. If it wasn't for the convenience of them being close by and the delivery I would probably go elsewhere. I do like the shrimp in garlic sauce. The General Tso's chicken is a rip off - all breading and no meat. The fried rice lacks inspiration as do the egg rolls which are simply greasy fried cabbage rolls - no vegetables or pork in them. You can tell that this place is run on a budget. They would do better to offer better food value, like putting some real meat in the General's chicken, then they would get better reviews and more business. read more

I wish I would have read "John C'" review from 2/11/2016 before ordering. I also ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was the worse Chinese Food I ever had in my life. It consisted of 85% onions, and the remainder was split between mushrooms and some type of beef. I just moved to the area and will never return to that place again. read more

I've only ever gotten the Chinese food from here, but its pretty good. They have an online ordering system which is convenient and the food is pretty cheap. I wouldn't say its the best ever, but its probably just as good as anywhere nearby and cheaper! read more

Have ordered sushi for delivery twice so far and both times very pleased with my order. The last time was on a Sunday night 15 minutes before they closed and they delivered within 20 minutes and my dish was generously proportioned and very fresh. I have never ordered Chinese from them but I would definitely recommend them for sushi especially since you can order online and they deliver quite quickly. read more
