We had duck egg noodle soup with veg, seafood pan fried noodles (didn't seem authentic/different from what expected) & crispy salt baked squid in five spice dressing/comes with white rice, everything was tasty, good portion size. Easy parking in shopping plaza. Attentive service. Clean spot.

I was about to swallow this piece of broken glass mixed in with my Lo Mein and end up in an emergency room. Stay Away!!!

Steamed Chinese Greens with Oyster Sauce

In the Cherry Hill area and felt like having some congee. Found this place on Yelp and I was glad we did. This little restaurant is nice, clean, simple, and pleasantly decorated. Ordered a Fish Fillet Congee, Beef Chow Fun, and Steamed Chinese Greens with Oyster Sauce. The best one was the congee. And it was a pleasant surprise that it came with some Chinese bread sticks that were fresh and warm. The Beef Chow Fun was decent. The Chinese Greens were so so. People in the next table ordered Noodle Soup with Roast Duck and it looked really good. Service was very good. Their staff checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. We were brought extra napkins, and food came out very quickly. All in all it was a pretty good lunch; and my craving for congee was fully satisfied.

Duck over rice

Didn't really like the food in general. The crispy noodle itself is good, but there is too much sauce and it's too salty. It's supposed to be satay sauce but doesn't taste like what you would expect for satay sauce. Lots of rice in the duck over rice. The duck is meh, I have had better. Feel like it is not seasoned well enough. The wonton in chili oil is probably the best dish, but I wish the chili oil has more flavor.

Sauteed 5 Spice Press Tofu with Chive Blossoms

After reading the reviews, I've been wanting to give this place a try. We got here right before the lunch crowd and were immediately seated. The restaurant is small and cozy, with beige wallpaper depicting long trees and one long continuous booth on one side with Chinese characters on it. Regular tables also adorn the center of the restaurant as well as the window and Chinese statues can be seen near the back too. An adorable Lucky Cat decoration hangs on the front window and pictures hang on some of the walls too. We ordered the following: Stuffed eggplant, which has shrimp and pork) in black bean sauce- We thought this entree was awesome. Black bean sauce was a nice touch. Hubs thought the sauce could've been served separately and that there wasn't any need to drown the eggplant. It was nice on its own. Happy family tofu- this came out a little watery and too much gravy. We liked the combination of food that went in there, but it was watery. Roasted duck egg noodle special with vegetables- this was delicious. I wish that they put the duck on a separate plate so it won't be soppy. Sautéed five spice press tofu with chive blossoms. This was such a simple dish. It's delicious and it reminded hubs that he can also get seasoned pressed tofu and use it as a meat substitute. Place had a steady flow of customers coming in and going out. Service was quick and friendly. The place was very clean and we would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Baby Bok Choy with Tofu and Shitake Mushrooms

While in the Collingswood area, we were thrilled to see that sang Kee noodle café was located nearby in Cherry Hill. My wife and I met usually make a day of it, and we head out to the same key in Ardmore and always love it. This one is definitely a smaller version smaller menu, but regardless a really good place to come . On this trip, we started off with are always go to steaming, juicy buns, or others may know them as the soup dumplings , you must have they are to die for the patient. It takes a while for them to make them. Next, we shared an order of the peeking duck a half order, I'm not a duck fan and I was just reminded why it tastes gamy taste fatty. It was dry. It was kind of on the cold side. Basically I am not a fan. The bok choy with tofu and mushrooms on the other hand, is a go to signature dish . Because I didn't enjoy the duck we ordered one more item the shrimp dumplings , very nice delicate skin, sweet, tasting good way to wrap up our meal. The reason for a four and not a five star is because there was a screwup with the placement of order that brought it out in piecemeal totally backwards, which really impacted our wanting to go out and enjoying a slow evening dinner rather than cooking at home, but will try it again another time we're down that way. See my photos .

I enjoy this place when I'm craving roast duck! More on the expensive side and eating in you get more than takeout!

My husband and I made a pitstop at the Cherry Hill Mall to use the restroom and on the way in we saw Kooma, with "martini bar" in the title. We were automatically intrigued. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a very pleasant staff. Since we did not want a full meal, we opted for a seat at the bar. My husband wanted to try a drink with peanut simple syrup, but unfortunately, the beverage was discontinued. Instead, he went with an Asian style old-fashioned. It was smoked using wood chips and was presented impeccably. Loved watching our bartender burn the chips on top of the drink to create the smoke in the glass. I selected a spicy, pineapple, passionfruit martini, which looked equally as beautiful as it was appetizing. For our snack, we selected the ceviche. Perhaps we didn't read the menu too closely, because this was a sweet ceviche with mango, instead of your traditional citrusy version we are used to. It was still very tasty, but the original style is my preference. Price wise, this place is a bit more on the expensive side, but you definitely feel the luxurious ambience in the atmosphere. Can't praise the bartenders/waiters enough enough. They were so attentive and sincerely friendly, which can be hard to find.

Simple yet tasty homestyle Chinese Korean food…read more My group came for a late dinner and there seemed to be a hiccup in the kitchen - we actually heard a bit of yelling from the back at some point. It sounded like the kitchen intended to close an hour earlier, which would be fine but the restaurant should adjust their hours since several customers after us were confused and had to be turned away. We were even unsure about whether our own food was going to come. Ambiance would also feel a little more comfortable if they had some music playing - it was very quiet and almost felt awkward at times. Regardless, our food did come and hit the spot. The accompanying banchan was nice (and pretty spicy!) and portion sizes were generous. It felt like a nice, homey meal overall. The hiccup in the kitchen was probably a one-off, but hoping they can manage their hours better in the future.

Don't let the no-frills atmosphere fool you -- you come here for the food, and the food delivers. The pork hangover soup (haejangguk) is absolutely magnificent -- rich, deeply savory, and exactly what your soul needs. The fried pork (tangsuyuk) is crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. And the tofu stew? Perfect heat, silky tofu, and a broth that tastes like it's been perfected over decades. This is authentic home-style Korean cooking at its finest. If you want a polished dining experience, go somewhere else. If you want incredible food made with heart, Jjang Ga Nae is the answer.
