    Lemon chicken and fried rice

The food was delicious! I ordered takeout--Lemon Chicken Rice with Cheese Rangoons. There was a small extra charge of $0.75 for the Rangoons, but the portion was hefty and everything tasted really good. Great value for the amount of food you get! The service was great, and the ambiance was really nice--cool, laid-back, and relaxing. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return!

I was in the southtown area for an event and I heard bamboo does this deal after the spurs win. A free vietnamese coffee and pan fried noodles!! We ordered a small egg drop soup, pan fried noodles, chicken lettuce wraps and a vietnamese coffee. The chicken lettuce wraps were incredibly saucy and flavorful and the egg drop soup was definitely one of the best ones i've had in town. The noodles were super delicious and I'll definitely be back for them! The vietnamese coffee was too delicious and I completely forgot to take a picture of it. The service was incredible and the overall atmosphere was well decorated and nice house music was playing. The prices were hard to beat and the food definitely lived up to it! 10/10 reccomend!!

I ordered delivery via GrubHub. Pleasantly surprised it was fast and still hot when I received the order. The lemon chicken had a crispy coating and a good lemon sauce (not too sweet). The chicken was a little dry but the flavor was good. The pork fried rice was very traditional... yum! The rice was a little dry but overall the taste was solid. The potstickers were packed and cooked correctly.

So I typically love trying anything new or any new place, I've heard about this place all over insta and TikTok so I decided to give it a shot, I took my older brother with me and he doesn't look the friendliest but he had no issues or didn't have any problems with anyone, it took maybe 20 minutes to get seated and another 10-15 to even get asked for drinks, the drinks came out and it was only my tea, my brother waited till our food came out and then she went to "check on the drink" the food was okay but not exciting and the appetizer came out hotter then anything on the plate. All in total it wasn't the greatest experience but it's a pretty sight and the drinks were decent, it just seemed like they were quicker to get us out the restaurant then to take care of us

Bamboo is a staple Chinese spot I go to when in the SATX area! The General Tso's is always portioned on the heavier side but this time around they didn't give as much of the portions. I do always ask to make it spicy but they don't seem to make it spicy at all, they can definitely improve in that area. The Rangoons are usually fresh, I think I've only ordered once when they were not and were over fried.

Stopped by for lunch and had the lemon chicken -- absolutely a 10/10! Parking is a bit limited, but the delicious food and great service more than make up for it.

They have lunch specials everyday. Our waitress was nice and friendly. I ordered the Lemon chicken plate with fried rice. I'll be back to try some more of there lunch specials.

Came here last night because I was craving chinese food and this choose this place because it's nearby and they have good prices, and open late I got the sesame chicken with lo mein and my boyfriend got the lemon chicken. We also both added on the cheese rangoons and those were probably my favorite part of the whole meal I could have eaten like 10 of those alone. All around we both enjoyed both of our meals. Service was great! The girls at the register both were very nice and helpful. I didn't know what kind of drink to get so they gave me a drink to try the lavender green tea and omg was so good. A little bit sweet but still great. Ambiance was nice, I didn't eat inside I ordered to go so I didn't get to see the whole inside but front was nice:)

Our friends have mentioned this was a good Chinese restaurant and coincidentally I actually won a giveaway from their Instagram post. We came to collect the tickets and eat there too with our friends. It was a small wait because there was only one server on the floor but it was SO WORTH IT. The AC still wasn't working which was alright they had LOTS of fans going. We got a starter of pork rolls (6) and I had gotten the General Tso's plate with plain lo mien noodles. The portions are BIG! They also provide hot chili oil if you ask. I had enough left over to take for lunch the next day. Three staff is so nice. This is a great hole in the wall. Definitely would recommend.

I have ordered from Bamboo before and had a good experience. Tonight not so though. Ordered sesame tofu with cheese Rangoon and yellow curry tofu plus an order of veggie spring rolls. We were missing the cheese Rangoon and part of the veggie spring rolls order. Neither the sesame tofu or yellow curry tofu had any flavor or spice and the sauces were thin and watery. Definitely not a good experience. Not sure what was going on tonight but I will hesitate to try again

Located in a shopping center across from the HEB on De Zavala, nearly hidden, is a restaurant waiting to treat your taste buds to a wonderful meal. Just before you push yourself away from the table, be sure to ask if they have the Ube Crème Brûlée Cake. It's only available on the weekends and it goes fast. Walking in here reminded me of places we ate - the Texas sized Buddha made it easy to remember that we were still in Texas. The smells, the food, the service was very reminiscent of being in Thailand. Being Friday, we started with the potatoe soup (only available on Fridays). It was tasty even though there was nothing "Thai" about it. The large bowl fills 4 of the cups with a little left over. The crunchy wonton strips were hot, crispy with a nice sweet and sour sauce. The wife had pineapple fried rice, one of her favorites at any Thai restaurant, they did not disappoint. I had the chicken larb salad, medium spicy, and it delivered spice and the citrus acid from limes, very good. Portion sizes are generous. After the soup course, my wife and I are bringing about half of each entree for tomorrow lunch. Service was prompt and it's worth another visit, even at 45 minutes away from where I live. Pro Tip: scan the QR code at the table to get the menu. They don't keep their paper menus current with either prices or choices, probably the only knock I have against this place.
