Even though there's covid, there's no reason to cutting back on serving great food. The general Tso I ordered was the driest chicken I've ever eaten. It was actually painful to chew I had to toss it out. Skip this place and move on, this use to be an okay to eat place now they're just looking to save a buck. read more

Out of the 3000 (exaggerating) times I've ordered their wonderful food and speedy delivery, this time something went wrong with the Wonton soup. I am from NYC Brooklyn and this place started alright for the few couple of times ordering food. We were there last night and got our order in prior to anyone else coming in off the street. Still had to wait for the last until everyone else was done before getting out order fulfill. Of course the other orders where $53.53, $43 and some lower than us. Why the heck did we have to wait so long? Then they told us you get a free soda, I ask them could I get a spring rolls instead. They were carrying on about it. Others prior to us had not issues getting extra stuff. Once they gave us the spring rolls had to be heated so they use Chief Mike (Microwave Oven) They seem to be using that more than prior times. I understand they have to run out those who spend more with them first. I am paying cash and I've spend a lot a few times prior. The girl friend doesn't like nuke food and her chicken was tough. Mine was okay the the rice is the best so far. I see they use a lot of process sauces even the ones they claim they made from scratch are still coming out of process sauce container and then kept cold. Experience it okay the shop is clean the front door needs to be fix. I wouldn't eat there, best to take the food home. They don't give you napkins you have to ask for it. Food I'll give it 2 stars. Coming from Long Island, NY, this place rings true to what I came to love about Chinese take out. When we first moved to South FL, there were plenty of places to have Chinese food, but they were all just OK and the take out left a lot to be desired. Then Bamboo Wok opened and I have not gone anywhere else for take out since! Food quality is reliably good. They have great spareribs made NY Chinese food style. Won Tons are firm and not over cooked. Portions are incredible and we always manage to get two dinners out of each combination dinner that we order. So, great Chinese food twice for the price of one dinner:) Call ahead and the food will be ready. Make sure you get the fresh mustard and duck sauce! read more

Everytime I come to this place, I only expect one thing and that is to find the best chinese take-out food. Not only I feel welcome by the lovely lady in the cashier but I always get a free can of soda for my purchase. This is low grade Chinese food. Lo mein & fried rice were tasteless; lo mein had soft, mushy, lower quality noodles. The beef in the rice and lo mein and beef and broccoli were also of the lower quality fatty beef. Sauces were "gloopy" and gelatinous. Fried rice had the taste and feel of normal yellow or Spanish type rice, not real fried rice, with little flavor. We remembered this place as being much better in the past. I delivered for Annie and her husband (the owners)--my car died at a delivery a mile and a half from their store--i called and asked for help-they wouldnt send the other 2 drivers or any of staff to help me--i ended up admitted in hospital that nite with chest pains and while there noticed that they called my phone numerous times after 830 to see where my $$$ was from deliveries--they called me several times early the next day to see where $$ was but to never ask how I was. I have been going here for years-as it is close to my home. They may claim "NY-Style", but as a former NYer- I know QUALITY Chinese food. This is NOT! I've finally given up on this place. The only thing that is edible here is the Wonton soup. Everything else is greasy and disgusting! I recently had the bbq Spare Ribs. For the SECOND time I've ordered them, they were Totally fatty! And the Fried Rice- that's usually one of my favorite items at a Chinese Restaurant. Normally you would find scrambled Eggs in it. Not only no scrambled eggs in the rice, but it is Loaded with Onions. Just Disgusting! And the other entrees are always Greasy. You will be sick to your stomach if you know and appreciate Good Chinese food, and make the mistake of trying this. It's a shame because the owners are really nice- I've just given up on the food.... This is not New York style Chinese food. This is what I would call good "drunk" food. The egg drop wonton mixed soup is gelatinous and slimy. The entrees are heavily sauced and over priced for the quality of the food. Though they do use fresh and crisp vegetables, which is a plus. They also give you "free" steamed rice with your entrees, which seems to be stopping at other restaurants. The food is very greasy. They have good food, but for some reason 2 out of 3 times I get sick from their spareribs. Honestly, I'm not exaggerating. I won't be eating their spareribs anymore due to me getting sick and being up all night with nausea, and I won't even say the rest. I've been sick since 10pm until the morning. I've had their spareribs about 7 times and I've been sick 5 out of those 7 times. I don't know what it is, but I finally realize there's something wrong with their spareribs. read more

Food used to be great and staff friendly, but not anymore. The female who's the owner is extremely rude! I've eaten here for years and the service and food is now very poor!! Their hot and sour soup is flavorless, they gave me pork strip in a bowl of hot water when I ordered spare ribs and they gave me exactly 5 pieces of beef and the entire rest of the container just scallions and onions after I ordered Mongolian beef. When I brought the food back to be corrected the owner was extremely rude and called me a liar. The food may be inexpensive, however it's not worth a single penny. Is the term "New York Style" a synonym for yucky? I ordered roast pork chop suey and chicken wings. The chop had a sticky reddish sauce and the veggies were for the most part past crisp. There were 5 chunks of roast pork which I would say was fine for a small order, but I really just ate those and the broccoli. The wings: I'm mixed on these. I generally like well-marinated, uncoated wings. These had a bit of a crispy coating (maybe some seasoned panko?) and had some of the marinated flavor. They were above edible, but not above average. I didn't hat them though. I called the order in and it was taken quickly. When I showed up, a "New Yorker" blasted me with "Pick-up?" and "What did you order?" Never asked if I wanted a drink- that was lost revenue for them because I did, but I wasn't going to have a separate receipt for it. Then he told me to grab my sauced and gave me the hairy eyeball when I grabbed more than one of the yucky packetted hot mustard. Overall? Meh. read more

Boca Bamboo Wok is NOT good. The only reason I went here was cause the one in Boynton was AMAZING. BOCA BAMBOO WOK IS CRAP. Overcooked chicken, overfried - and I won't be going back. The Florida curse has finally come to Bamboo Wok, and that would be food with NO TASTE or FLAVOR. The Egg Foo Young was rubbery and no flavor, the vegetable rice had no flavor, and gravy had no flavor. Won't order food ever again. read more
