They share the same virtual kitchen with Island Nyaminns, a Jamaican wishlist spot of mine as well. I feel that the chefs compliment each other in the background. The wonton soup is mixed up nicely with chopped green onions in a flavorful broth. This has some soul in it. The Mongolian beef did not disappoint... and the menu photos on entry introduce a nice array of future indulgences. STOP!!! DON'T ORDER! I ordered food over the phone and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived 40 minutes later, and it still wasn't ready and had to wait another 20 minutes on top of that. When the food unwrapped at home, it was a total letdown. The presentation was not appealing at all. The food looked horrible,, the flavors were flat, and nothing was remotely enjoyable. One noodle dish looked like the cook had dumped a whole bottle of soy sauce into it, the noodles were pitch black and inedible. While waiting, I also noticed this place is serving Caribbean/Islander food alongside Chinese food. To me, that says it all: instead of focusing on doing one cuisine well, they're just throwing anything on the menu to make a buck. There's zero pride in the cooking here, and it shows. Most of what I ordered went straight into the trash because it was that bad. This was my first visit, and without question, it will be my last. By far THE best Asian fusion grill In Boca Raton I've ever had. The jerk chicken is so good and at an astoundingly low price on weekdays with the lunch special for just under $10! It's Christmas night & we pre-ordered and pre-paid. Of course they were busy & running late. So we waited an extra 15 minutes & got all of our orders. The MoShu Pork was average. The PadThai was weak & the fried appetizer Plate with spare ribs fair. Overall nothing exciting nothing great. But if you're the only thing open on XMas then you take what you can get. I ordered the Roast Pork With Fresh Mushroom Combination Dinner comes with a choice of Hot & Sour , Wonton, or Egg Drop Soup and a choice of Brown Rice, White Rice, or Pork Fried Rice and an egg roll The wonton soup was small portion and didn't taste like Wonton soup.. The fried rice was also very good with diced carrots and pea. The roast pork was a nice portion with lots of pork and fresh mushrooms with a brown sauce, flavorful. About two years or almost 2 years ago ago I seen a post on Facebook talking about this restaurant and the video review that the customer posted I thought the customer was over exaggerating. But it's far from where I live yesterday I was craving it so I decided to go not only did this man add on a Jamaican cuisine menu, but he added GRIOT (Haitian fried pork). Then he mixed the Jamaican cuisine with the Asian cuisine and if you know Asian food was originated in Jamaica. And what I mean by that he has jerk lo mein jerk, fried rice, jerk, chicken, egg rolls, and all of that stuff there I'm telling y'all if my review leads you here in the food is nasty reach out to me. I promise you I'll pay for it. This is a black owned establishment and the owner is Jamaican. So disappointed! This local take out place was very good up until now. My order took almost 2 hours from when it was placed on line. I called after an hour and 15 minutes and was told it was on its way. 45 minutes later it arrived. It was cold, as expected. I ordered the pork and shiitake mushroom, they did not use shiitake, just plain white mushrooms. The flavors of that dish and the others were bland and did not provide the usual traditional Chinese flavor I was expecting. Even the fried rice was disappointing, even after reheating. One of the items I ordered leaked and the bottom of the box the order was delivered in was soaked with broth from my order. What a mess... Well...it's Chinese takeout, not fine dining. However, compared to the other local Chinese takeouts, I was presently surprised. The food is generally well prepared and the portions large enough for left overs. It's a little on the pricey side, but not really out of line compared to the other options available.
