This place is pretty unique to San Francisco, we don't really have places that just specialize in Vietnamese desserts. They have a range of milk tea, boba but they specialize in Che. The Che is here freshly made I usually come here for #1 and #6 which from what the employees say, these two seem to be the most popular. If you get to go, you can put the ice in a bag so it doesn't dilute your drink. I've come here a few times and the cashier are pretty nice and patient while trying to explain the drinks to you. I think reading the reviews, everyone has different tastes, but for me, the drinks are sweet enough. One piece of advice is if you are not drinking it straight away, have the ice separate. read more

I think for most Chinese people, these desserts are an acquired taste. Coconut juice is very popular but the coconut milk is definitely something that is not in our dietary consumption. I got the number 10 and aslo tried the basil seed and grass jelly, #2 and #3. The first two reminds me of chinese desserts but the last two are quite heavy desserts. They are all very sweet and filled with fresh ingredients. I think these drinks do satisfy your tastebuds and give you that overwhelming sense of being full. Not sure you can have too much of it. Don't mind waiting for this dessert anyday! People need to stop complaining about the line, it just means its that good! Staff is super friendly and apologizes when ordering! Love the coconut milk, creamy and sweet, love the big dome ice on top of my drink, looks super pretty and colorful, everything is $3.75 for a big cup of che, smoothie, mochas or milk tea, worth it! Found my new dessert place! Do phone orders and it will be ready when you get there, they always make sure their drink is to quality by asking if you want the ice seperate so you can eat it later. Third time here....totally recommend the number BU #1. Although it's almost always cold in the Richmond, I can always use a nice cold BU #1....coconut juice, longan, and basil seed. This time, I added red tapioca free of charge which is always nice. My friend tried the traditional 3 Color Bean Dessert and that was pretty good too if you're a sweet bean lover and want something a bit more sweet. After a few errands south of the City, I decided to return to a restaurant on the same block where I bought and enjoyed some takeout food a few months ago. This store is on the corner of the same block. With the weather on the warmer side, I made a point to get something for my drive to the office after lunch. I tried the pineapple passion fruit green tea, 30% sweetness, regular ice (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=nM6OcRVRggpSAdnSmkkO3g); I liked the flavor of the tea in a definite pineapple forward flavored drink; there was quite a few pineapple chunks here while the passion fruit was subdued with just a few seeds in the bottom. It hit the spot as I finished a little more than half when I arrived my destination. I brought the cup home and added ice to stretch my drink into a beverage with dinner. When I walked by, there were five or six customers in the store either drinking or eating or waiting for their orders. When I walked in, there was only one person picking his drink as I studied the menu. As a left, I couple of people walked in to place their orders so, on weekday afternoons, the business seems steady but not crazily busy. The cashier was curt and efficient in taking my order and telling me when my drink was ready. I will study their menu and might try their slushy drinks when I'm in the neighborhood again.

I came and ordered the rose milk tea with boba, 50% sugar, 80% ice. The boba was soft chewy and the rose milk tea tasted good. One thing I didn't like was that every time I sipped my drink, the plastic cup is a bit squishy and isn't very stiff. It's a cute little place and the staff were friendly. There's no kiosk, so you would have to order at the register. It took around 5 minutes for me to get my drink which was pretty fast.

It took about 12 min for the order to come out. There are only about 4 seats inside. The egg puff was good & tasted fresh. The ice cream is good but I think I prefer the plain flavor. The soft serve has a great flavor. The milk tea was okay, the boba is on the firmer side. I would come back for an egg puff & ice cream but would likely get boba from somewhere else.

Crunchy, salty, chaotic perfection. And the drink was fire too - tasted like actual tea instead of straight sugar syrup. In the middle of all the Taraval milk tea competition, this spot definitely holds its own. Highly recommend with my utmost respectful regards!
