Such a hidden gem in SF! I've been to many boba places and this one stands out. They have a wide range of drinks but my favorite is definitely between their taro and oreo milk tea with boba. Their taro milk teas is really sweet so I'd definitely do 30% sweetness or even sweet free. However, their Oreo and Black Milk Tea is perfect at 50%. I also had their Black Tea Creama before and it's really pleasant with the cream top as it balances out the bitterness of the tea. Their prices are one the best in SF as it's relatively affordable between $5-$6. Many boba places tend to sell their simpler drinks at the upper $6 to $7 price point, yet this place is cheaper and better quality. The taro milk tea is creamy and strong in flavor, while the Oreo milk tea has a good amount of Oreo with a balanced mix of milk and tea. The place is relatively small with barely any room for sitting down unless you happen to come at a less busy time. The staff are nice, though my only gripe is they tend to take a long time making drinks and even longer if you order food. I had the opportunity to try their curly fries and fried squid. They were delicious but wait time was ~30 minutes despite being the only customer there. If you can, order ahead of time for pickup so you can avoid waiting. I've been a loyal customer for years, like since they opened. The only good thing here is the price as the customer service sucks. They have paper stamp cards that are easily misplaced, but when you come in with 5 stamps cards of 2-3 stamps each, they won't combine them for you. (10 stamps = 1 free drink). Solid option for tea in the Richmond. Given the amount of Asian restaurants and how it's like a mini Chinatown, you might think there were more boba places in the area! My friend got her usual matcha green tea (no boba this time) and was a fan. I tried one of their seasonal options, the Mango Mango, with a non-seasonal/normal but unique topping: yogurt boba. I loved the mango flavor but wouldn't classify it as tea or a slushie. The yogurt boba was almost like popping boba but with yogurt texture inside and flavoring! Would recommend both, but maybe just go in with those expectations. Service is friendly and fast, they have a nice rewards system if you go there often, and I love their location amongst lots of Asian places and also near Green Apple Books and Golden Gate Park!
