I write this three years later, though I should've made it sooner. I actually tried Little Sweet on my first date with my now boyfriend and we got there an hour or so before closing. The lights outside really set for such a cute twilight mood and though that wasn't the main point of their shop, it was a cute detail. You order off an ipad and wait for your order, pretty typical of most shops nowadays. I remember there being a short line as well, so it seems they are a busy boba shop! The drinks themselves were delicious based on what I remember, I recall their boba being perfectly chewy and not soggy despite getting there so close to closing. There was one employee working who just kept giving us mean glares for an unknown reason. It is a small shop, so there is not much room to hang out inside either. I ordered their Jasmine Milk Green Tea with boba. The taste of the drink tastes very off-putting - it definitely does not taste like a jasmine green milk tea, but like a burnt tea with milk just added to it. Grandkids wanted a Boba after dinner. Since we were on the Richmond side we stopped at Little Sweet. This location has terrible ambiance. There are boxes stacked everywhere! The display case of avocados and fruits had moldy items and needs to be cleaned out! Maybe the staff standing around should pick out the moldy ones to toss out? Instead of the boxes stacked all over, maybe a few chairs so people waiting can sit? It's basically a grab and go Boba spot. You order on a self-serve tablet so there is no interaction with the staff. Lack of effort and attention from the staff that is just standing in the back waiting for you to order on the tablet. Communication is a bit tough with the team, depending who you talk to. I came to use a rewards system and had a hard time communicating with a specific employee - they kept inputting my order incorrectly and even overcharged me when I received my receipt (they kept pressuring me to complete my order and basically wanted to speed up my session, but wouldnt let me check my charges) Luckily, another employee came out to help with communication, and issue was mainly resolved. It was just frustrating that it took so long and many repeats just to say i wanted a specific drink and add-on. I picked the Mango Sago and it was really good, the mango flavor felt very fresh, good, and not artificial. There was an unblended grapefruit wedge at the bottom of the drink which was incredibly bitter, it was only 1 wedge so I just toughed it out tho lol. I would 100% buy it again. I really love little sweet but sometimes it's hit or miss. The egg puffs are the most consistent thing on the menu, the chocolate ones are good, especially when they're hot. I've ordered many different drinks and come here very often, sometimes it's heavy on the milk. The hot ginger milk tea is one of my favorite things on the menu. The service is fast, never waiting long, and everyone is friendly. The inside is not usually that busy but sometimes there's a line, they have three kiosks though. I've been to other Little Sweet locations, and this one similarly, operates as take-out only. You order and pay at the kiosk, wait for your name to be called, and head out. The shop itself is quite small with no seating and awkward standing room. You don't interact with the workers either. We both ordered a drink. I got a Mango Matcha Latte with Oat Milk and Boba and he got a Thai Green Milk Tea with Oat Milk. We were both able to adjust our sweetness and dairy alternatives, though not ice levels. I found the mango matcha to be lacking in some ways--the mango was tart and the matcha wasn't too strong. Though the boba was warm and chewy making it enjoyable. My companion's drink was pretty sweet and florally. He said it tasted like a tootsie roll and after that, I couldn't un-picture it. The drinks here are definitely on the pricier side. For those looking for a boba shop around the city, you've probably come across or heard of Little Sweet. This location off Geary is small and quiet with metered and neighborhood parking around. Extremely disappointing experience. I clearly requested no added sugar in my Green Thai Tea. The tea and milk themselves are already unsweetened -- I simply asked them not to add extra sugar, which should be a basic and reasonable customization. The staff told me they "could not do that," and repeatedly refused to make the drink without added sugar. It is honestly shocking that after paying nearly $10 for a drink, a customer is not even allowed to choose the sweetness level. What made the situation worse was the attitude. When I asked to speak with a manager or get a contact number, the staff refused to provide any information and showed zero willingness to help or resolve the issue. A drink shop that cannot accommodate a simple "no sugar" request -- and refuses to let customers contact management -- clearly does not care about customer experience. This place is not friendly to anyone who has dietary restrictions, controls sugar intake, or simply prefers less sweet drinks. I will never return to any Little Sweet location, and I strongly recommend others think twice before coming here. read more

As my boyfriend and I were looking for a Boba spot on the way to the Golden Gate dog park, we found this particular little place had really good reviews. As we walked in, it's a little spot with hardly any parking in front, but luckily, there was a five minute parking spot that opened up just before the car dealership parking. Lol. They had so many fresh fruit items stored in their display case I decided to get a fruit smoothie. I got the tropical smoothie and my boyfriend got a jasmine milk tea. He really liked how much Boba was in his milk, tea and my fruit smoothie didn't taste over Sugary or sweet. You can order by scanning a QR code, or you can use their touchtone kiosk as the people stand somewhat in the back. They were organizing their new products and getting their new shipment situated since no one was ordering when we got there. After we ordered, it seemed like a bunch of people showed up. Lol, there's not much of a sitting area and they have this interesting open bay window section that I almost walked through thinking it was an odd door but there's an actual door to the far left of the store. I got the high mountain milk, tea and this black sesame strawberry latte. The drinks tasted watered down and were pretty average. I got the high mountain milk tea with regular sweetness too but it was still watered down and you couldn't really taste the tea. The boba wasn't bad. They do have the tiny boba here.
