Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! The food was incredibly fresh--every bite bursting with flavor. As far as Colorado Springs sushi, this place is the best I've had. That being said, you will pay for it. Specialty rolls are upwards of $18 and basic rolls are upwards of $7-9 per roll. There is also noodles and a lunch menu, but the prices are still on the higher end. The place is clean, small and service is friendly. You can sit by the sushi bar and watch the guys make your rolls, or you can sit at one of the tables. There is a check-in system at the register, and after 5 visits you get a coupon. I am on my third visit. Worth a stop, but bring your wallet. I pretty much spend $40 when I visit, just for myself. I wish they offered a lunch special, like 3 basic rolls for $12-15 or something. I would visit more often.

We had a party of 5, one with a severe allergy to mushrooms, we were assured only two dishes had it. We also had two kids in our party, and the kid beef bento boxes were a hit. We tried them too and they were really flavorful. Their tempura is also on point. Part of my party complained that the crab cheese wontons and gyoza were very doughy, but I like that it's different. We also order a dinner sashimi plate with sushi rice and it was better than Dozo's. Their sushi is INCREDIBLY fresh, high quality. The price is fair (in my opinion). Since I work all over Colorado, this is my new favorite sushi place. 10/10 and love how close to home it is. There seemed to only be one hostess with help from the kitchen, but all staff was very friendly. Anytime someone comes through the door they'd say hello, and half the tables were full. The projector is a nice touch (and distraction) for the kids too.

Ban sushi is a very good sushi place out in Peyton. I usually get the beef teriyaki dinner box, and it is amazing every time. You are served within 15-20 minutes. If you get 6 or more sushi rolls, you get a cool boat as a plate! Waiters usually check on you every 10 minutes. Ban sushi is usually medium volume with pictures of fish on the wall. It usually has 4 to 5 tables open. Music is fun.

Great customer service as soon as you walk in! Very friendly and quick, the staff was very kind. I love that they have a koi fish projection on the walls. We ordered some miso soup,salad, and calamari which were great appetizers. We also got several different rolls of sushi. I love spicy tuna rolls, which I was surprised that they weren't that spicy here. I really enjoyed the aloha roll and the starlight roll, very delicious! It's definitely worth a try if you're up here in Falcon.

Food is excellent. I have a shellfish allergy never any issues they always use a clean surface. Service is exceptional. Our ban sushi day is usually Wednesdays but occasionally on the weekend. Nothing bad to say.

This is the only sushi place in Peyton, so their prices are good (cheaper than most other sushi in Colorado Springs) and really good quality. With the bento boxes, you definitely get your money's worth :D The restaurant is clean and has great service. I've taken plenty of friends here and they've liked it! read more

Got take our from Ban Sushi on Friday night. We ordered Yakisoba noodles and some sushi rolls. We did not get any noodles, but at least they did not charge for them. We had waited a long time for our food, so we did not feel like going back for the noodles, but the sushi was plenty for two. In fact, we didn't even finish it all. The cheese was almost overwhelming in flavor on the starlight and on the Vegas roll, but the ingredients were fresh and we enjoyed our take out. We'll definitely order take out again, and hopefully by then they'll be a bit less busy and write down our full order ;-) read more

Ban Sushi is a gem in Falcon!! We love to eat sushi and have never had a single bad experience here. We eat at Ban 2-3 times per month. We love the service. It's a kid friendly atmosphere. My 10 year old loves eating real sushi here (not just California rolls). We have tried several rolls and these are our faves: Ninety Nine, NY NY, Shotgun, Volcano. The sushi chefs are awesome and so is the waitstaff. I support this place often because I don't want to lose such an amazing local business in our community! read more

Mediocre sushi at best. The first time we ordered every single roll fell apart, in all my years of eating sushi I've never seen anything like that. I think the rolls with the spicy Mayo have a bit too much, it really overpowers the flavor. Overall the taste of the rolls are ok, but I've had much better for less. I will happily pay more for great sushi, but this was not great. Because this is the only place close by I've tried them 4 times, the last two times they forgot part of my order and I had to drive all the way back and stand there until they were able to help me. Not great service. read more

Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and love love it! We were seated right away and given our drink orders immediately. The lunch menu is varied and scrumptious. There are Bento boxes(Chicken, Beef, Salmon and a couple others I can't remember)that come with a roll, miso and salad. Also Sushi Plates and Lunch plates. All come with tons of food plus miso and yummy salad. Hubby loved his sushi, raved more like it. My teriyaki chicken was 5 star!!! Place was busy but food came quickly, hot and correct. Waitperson was a 6 out of 5! Falcon come out and support this outstanding restaurant! Something for everyone!!! read more

The sushi here tastes amazing and it's pretty affordable. My wife and I got 4 rolls and extra rice and it only came out to $50. The sushi was definitely worth the price. I have not had a Vegas Roll that tasted as good as the one from this location. I definitely recommend coming here. read more

Brand new sushi take out in Falcon. They are super busy and it may take a little longer to get your order, however if you are patient and understand that they are new you will love it. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly. We are actually going back today for lunch. read more

My boyfriend and I flew in from Minnesota today and passed by Ban Sushi, dropped our bags off and circled right back. We ordered miso soup, sake, and six rolls (2 spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, Alaskan, calamari tempura, and a spider roll) Everything was delicious! The best part was our server, she was extremely polite and very kind. We will definitely be coming back this trip! read more

Had a wonderful lunch at Ban Sushi today. I had miso soup and a rainbow roll. The decor is clean, bright and free of any malodorous scents. Very reasonably price for A+ dining. You sushi lovers know, great sushi is a delicate match of premium fish, properly season fresh rice and nori that's like an ocean breeze in your mouth. We ventured here because it's in our neighborhood, and expected to be disappointed, however, this was the absolute opposite of our experience! We have gone back multiple times. The fish is always super fresh, and both waitresses we have had have been wonderful and on top of it. A perfect gem if you are ever craving sushi, and are picky about freshness. The sake bomb roll (spicy tuna/avo topped with salmon) is the best, and the beef dumplings are fresh and flavorful as well. Will be a staple for us. We enjoyed our time here. We will be back. We love Sushi! Our family was stationed in Hawai'i, and we know how yummy sushi should taste. We ordered a lot of sushi, and everything was under $70! Which was great for feeding two adults and three sushi lovin kiddos 9 and under. The place was clean. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was for the customer service. One of the younger waitresses was rude and seemed annoyed that we asked to move two tables together to fit our family of six. It was away from others. The spot she wanted us in was too tight for our family. it was not busy at that time. Also, no one really greeted us when we entered or said goodbye when we left. Our waitress for our table was amazing though! I couldn't understand anything she said, but she was very attentive and VERY warm and friendly, which we appreciated. We will be back because we enjoyed the food! It was good sushi! read more

Received a call that my order was ready and upon showing up the food wasn't ready, no biggie. Went home and came back. Two hours after the first call saying the food was ready I showed up again and the food still wasn't ready. I'm sure the food is great but I can't comment on that as I never received it and canceled my order. read more

Forget food on Friday night! The restaurant had 6 of their 10 tables open when we arrived. I was told it would be a thirty minute wait time, which I don't mind waiting for good food. As I was waiting the staff took 5 walk in orders. When I inquired about why walk-in counter orders got priority over people who arrived before them the waitress was very rude and said she can't keep up with walk in orders, training staff, and serving tables. I asked if you keep serving walkins before you seat us we will never eat. The waitress said you can sit but I don't know if will serve you and walked away. Needless to say we walked out. It's a shame I love the food but customer service is a make it break kind of deal for me. Recommendation: If as a business you cannot handle walk-in and dinning. Pick one over the other AND don't take out poor planning on the people that help pay the bills. read more

While their dinner AYCE price is respectable, the variety and service was not. The menu (rolls in particular) are not as varied as other AYCE places in the city, and tasted ok. The nigiris were good size, but more rice than fish. The fish I've tried at other eateries is also fresher than what I tried at Umi. I'll give them points for having bulgogi, Katsu and other Asian sides as part of the AYCE. The tempuras I ordered were fresh and crunchy as well. Now, the service... while our server was courteous and sweet, their AYCE process does not have give diners a sheet on which we select what they want, instead the server takes your order every time and (hopefully, correctly) conveys it to the kitchen. Our nigiri order was delayed till course 3, and the rolls took forever to come out. I also felt that my table, and a few other tables around us were constantly waiting for the server to pay us attention so we could order or ask for utensils etc. The ambiance for weekend dinner-time was slow and lax. Overall, it was a lukewarm experience. Did I just show up on an off night? We'll never know.

We chose this restaurant because 1. It was close to where we were staying and 2. it had more than the minimum number of stars to reassure me that the sushi is fresh. Our order consisted of two Philadelphia rolls, two Caterpillar rolls, an Alaskan Snow roll. We also got a Spicy Chicken Miso Ramen and the Seared Cajun Tuna. What I lack in dining knowledge about Sushi Ato I can make up for in food quality, quantity, and cost. First, food quality seemed good to me. All of the sushi looked, smelled and, tasted fresh. All of the rolls were a standard size with six to eight pieces. Our rolls by themselves fed one and a half adult females, one newly minted teenager, and a four year old. As for the prices, to me they were what I expected, about $13 to $15 per roll. As for the non-sushi items, the Seared Cajun Tuna was delicious. Cooked well, with a nice pink on the inside and well spiced on the outside. IMO the Cajun spices were more flavorful than spicy (hot). The only bad part, as is the case with most takeout, was that it was not overly pleasing to the eyes sitting in its takeout container. Lastly, the Spicy Chicken Miso Raman was tasty and not overly spicy. Furthermore, when we opened the container there was a ton of food. I bet two adults could make a good dinner out of this bowl, maybe with an appetizer or two. However, our bowl fed the other half of the adult female and our second newly minted teenager. But that's saying something! Teenagers are good at bringing their A game to a table and this one is no different. But, the bowl held its own and she walked away satisfied. Overall, I recommend Sushi Ato. Is it going to knock your sox off, maybe or maybe not. But, if you're jonesing for some sushi or a nice ramen bowl and you happen to be in Colorado Springs, on the north east side of the city you're in luck! Because that's right where it is!
