Sushi row is soooo good when it is good and so mid when it isn't... today we stopped in for lunch and it was just ok. The shrimp tempura was very soggy, the fish wasn't as good as it normally is. The salad and miso were good- no complaints. Love this spot when it is on its game but for the price- when it is a miss it's not worth it sadly

Everything here was spot on! My husband and I enjoyed a date here downtown on a Friday night. Made a reservation through Open Table and I'm glad we did, as it seemed full. The atmosphere was perfect for a 1 on 1 setting, but we also saw a few bigger groups too. You can't go wrong with any of these, to share between two: - Apps: Crispy Rice, Pork Belly Buns - Mains: Spicy Luca Roll, Rocco Roll, California Roll - Beverages: Snow Angel Sake, N/A Beer So. Good. Great quality. We will 100% be back!

Food and service were great. It was our first time here for a date night and we ordered a little bit of everything and 2 of the signature cocktails. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely come back again!

Coming from the Bay Area I've had a lot of really good sushi but Sushi Row seriously knocks it out of the park. It's fresh, high quality, and delicious! The low lit atmosphere and the music is a complete vibe. Everyone is super nice and attentive as well! I've came on a weekday with reservations and on the weekend without, I would make one to be safe even though we've been seated right away both times!

A friend suggested this cool spot in downtown Colorado Springs last night, and it was awesome! Not your traditional sushi place, and a welcome break from it! There aren't the typical 30+ combo rolls, just a select few, and regular sushi/sashimi, which was excellent! I'd love a roll with cucumber outside, but our waitress had never heard of such a thing, so not sure if they can or will make it possibly? The staff was very nice and the place was packed, great outdoor dining area too! The only drawback was the air conditioning cranking at the same time it was cool outside and all the sliders and windows were also open, but that's just me.

Food was great! Service was excellent and attentive. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner. The ambiance was enjoyable for dinner with friends. The desserts were perfect--delicious and not too sweet. Since it's downtown you have to pay for parking but use the app and it's not that bad.

We came here for a nightcap after dining at Oro and having drinks at District Elleven. I was visiting from LA. Pros: sleek, modern ambiance. Loved the brick walls at the bar and the lighting -- made for an intimate date night spot. Pretty extensive menu with a variety of items. Friendly service. My Japanese Old Fashioned was nice and smooth, if a tad lacking in 'bite.' It also lacked garnish -- no orange twist, no luxardo cherry, etc. Cons: we tried the crispy rice. It was an order with 4 pieces, half with tuna while the other half was salmon. Though the fish was fine, the rice itself was VERY HARD. TOO CRUNCHY. Spicy tuna or spicy salmon on crispy rice is pretty popular on many sushi menus in cities like LA or NYC, etc. I've had my fair share of this well-known appetizer. NONE of them have ever been as disturbingly CRISPY as the ones here. No rice should ever be this hard that it makes it difficult and rather unenjoyable to consume. The chef and kitchen staff must know: pan fry the rice just right. No need to fry it too long that it could possibly chip off a diner's tooth!

This was a very trendy and clean sushi restaurant that I'd recommend making reservations during the busier dinner hours. We came here in the early afternoon for their happy hour. We tried pretty much everything including their sake, salmon and spicy tuna sushi rolls, salmon nigiri, and sushi tacos. All of which were pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. Everything was also on the pricier end. I loved the wooden decor, as well as the friendly staff. My only complaint was that they charged us a credit card usage fee. We even asked if we used debit would it still charge and they said yes, any card. This is truly getting out of hand, in my opinion. It's very sad when restaurants make their customers pay their credit card usage fees. I've noticed this becoming increasingly more common in Colorado.

Unagi, yellowtail, toro, amberjack, salmon, tuna nigiri Top to bottom

Probably the best sushi spot in Colorado Springs. The nigiri was fresh, the miso was one of the best I've had, and the temaki tacos were a great combination of a variety of ingredients that made a stunning dish. We also went during happy hour so the meal was fairly cheap for high quality sushi. The miso soup was a stand out for me. I love the whole mushrooms and the large block of tofu. The mushrooms made the soup so rich and would absolutely recommend you order. The nigiri we had was all very delicious. The tuna was a surprise stand out item. While I thought the toro was delicious it was only marginally better than the regular tuna. The yellowtail and amberjack were also favorites of mine. The temaki tacos were one of my favorite items due to the combination of items on the tacos. We had the spicy yellowtail and the spicy tuna + shrimp tempura tacos which were fantastic. The major issue with them is they are hard to bite through. The seaweed "shell" is not easy to bite and makes for a difficult eating experience. Other than that this would be a perfect dish. We had a spicy yellowtail roll which was a simple and tasty. The tables were fairly close together so it makes for a cozy atmosphere and the servers were very attentive and came around on the regular. I would definitely come back especially during happy hour for some delicious deals.

Food: Fresh, artistic & creative. Recommended Spicy salmon roll & sushi taco for Happy Hour 14.30-17.30 pm. Happy Hour all day on Monday. Service: Team based service. Love the same color theme on the servers dress code. Clean, neat & well-trained staffs. Ambiance: The most impressive things in my view, modern decors with fun twist included the funky wallpaper in the restroom. Love the semi-outdoor seating. Don't forget to keep a pen for souvenir! Sum up: My favorite spot for date night, happy hours, special occasion. Deducted one star bc they chart $2 for credit card processing fees & you have to pay to park on the street.

Sushi was excellent!! Wide variety of dishes and rolls to choose from. I was disappointed that it took me a VERY long time to receive the initial drink that I ordered, however once my server "found" me, service was much better throughout the meal. It was very crowded, but well managed - it didn't seem that anyone had to wait too long to be seated. With all tables full, the restaurant was a bit loud, but conversation at the table was definitely OK

Great food, service, and selection. It's located slightly away from all the food and shops in the downtown area. I didn't mind this too much because I was able to find parking close by. The restaurant is very clean inside and out. Definitely worth checking out.

This place never ever disappoints. Came here for my cousins graduation from her Masters of Nursing program, and it was a perfect place to celebrate milestones. The food, to no surprise, was delicious. We caught them for their happy hour and they had great options for nigiri and rolls for happy hour for an unbeatable value, considering the quality of fish you're getting. They also have basic alcoholic drinks during happy hour. I always order the crispy tuna, and it's great! The negihama taco also hit the spot! Dominique, our server, was absolutely phenomenal! She took care of us very well and made really good recommendations. The vibes are natural wood, warm lighting and premium napkins. The settings are also bespoke. Can't recommend this place enough.

3 years later…read more... This place never misses. Every visit delivers fresh fish, beautiful plates, and great service. The presentation is stunning, and everything gets to the table quickly. Dozo has mastered consistency. I ordered the Kill Bill roll, spicy hamachi roll, and tuna tataki nigiri. The hamachi roll had just the right amount of kick. Every bite reminded me why this place stays in my rotation. If you're debating where to go for sushi in the Springs, don't. Dozo is it.

Great sushi, great service, and great value is why Dozo Sushi is such a great spot…read more We started with a Tuna Tartare which is like a poke bowl with marinated tuna in a rice bowl. Fine but I wouldn't get it again. The highlight sushi wise was the sushi and sashimi combo. It came with a salad and 8 pieces of nigiri (tuna, salmon, escolar, and shrimp) and 9 pieces of sashimi (tuna, salmon, escolar) as well as a tuna roll. The sashimi slices were large and all delicious and the order was only $37. Of the basic rolls we had the unagi roll and the spicy hamachi roll. I could barely tell what kind of fish was in either as there was so little meat. Of the special rolls we had the kill bill and the Russian roulette. Both rolls were great and the Russian roulette was a super fun one as one of the pieces is very spicy. Great sushi for a great price that I would definitely come back to.
