Some of the food did surprise me on experience and taste. The restaurant is set up like typical European beer hall style with long table. I like the decoration. Our first appetizer is the eggplant wrap. This is a roll eggplant in sheet fill with walnut paste. The second appetizer is the Pkali - it comes as three ball dip that chop and minced spinach, beet, walnut with herb. It is great to be shared. Our main dish also interesting. The first dish is a traditional Khinkali. This is a Georgian dumpling that has the soup in it. You will have to care eat this by initially suck the soup out. Watch for the temperature of the soup in the dumplings. Our second dish is Kuchmachi. This is a fried chicken giblet with spice. Very unique. The third dish is Souzi. This is beef soup with bread. The soup is tomato base. The fourth dish is penovani khachapuri pastry stuff with egg, cheese and onion. The pastry skin is very puffy. The fifth dish is my favorite- chicken tabaka. This is the fried chicken with Georgian seasoning. It comes with rice, bread, and salad. The skin of the chicken is crispy and flavorful. The last dish is the kebab. This is grilled item in the menu.
