The perfect way to start this tired teacher's summer break. Absolutely delicious. Shukran! The flavors are wonderful. There's a little something extra in the baklava that gives it a unique taste. Their tea is also delicious, but what makes it all even better is the hospitality, especially from the sister of the Falahi bros. The only drawback for me is that it's a little spendy. Extremely disappointing experience--especially on Eid. Our family placed a $144 catering order that was advertised to feed seven people, but what we received was a large tray of rice and only two small portions of protein. That was the entirety of the order. When we called to address the issue, the response we received was dismissive and unprofessional. The person on the phone became defensive, insisted we had been given extra protein, and refused to acknowledge our concerns. When we calmly asked for accountability, the call was abruptly ended. There was no effort to resolve the situation, no apology, and no acknowledgment of the poor experience--on a day that is especially meaningful for our family. The photos clearly reflect the discrepancy. This was not an appropriate quantity or value for a $144 catering order intended for seven people. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to others. read more

The owner went out of his way for me so I thought I would go out of my way for him. I saw this place walking to the Farmers Market from where we parked. I ordered a Lamb Shawarma wrap. I don't get a lot of Shawarma, but this probably was the best I have ever had. You can get it with hot sauce. I was unsure about the spiciness so the owner was kind enough to put some on the side. It is moderately spicy. The owner was very courteous and I appreciated how well I was treated. This is a local small business and it shows in their personal engagement. This was a great place for an informal dinner.The price was also reasonable for three adults. We sat in the back dining room, and while nice a clean, it could use a bit more decor. Our service was competent and friendly. All of the dishes were nicely prepared and appealing to the eye. We all really enjoyed the spices in the dishes. I got two pieces of baklava to go, being homemade by the owners on premises. It was wonderful, tender, and not soaked in honey like most. All in all a great experience! Kudos! read more

I have wanted to try this place for a while and finally got the chance. Love the fact there is a lot of parking. Don't fear if you see the front seating full from the window more in the back. The customer service was amazing. The owners seemed really passionate about great service and food. I had the Tikka chicken which was a huge plate and my partner had the sharwma lamb. I would definitely recommend the hot it just adds a nice heat to the dishes. Spices were well balanced and the salad that came with was fresh not just out of a premade vat. Finished up with the baclava which was nicely balanced nuts to Phyllo dough and not soggy. You know we went to this restaurant a few months ago and I totally forgot to post their review. These people are so friendly. It's not even funny. The owner and his daughter were fantastic. When we walked in the door they sat us down. They told us what they were making fresh right at the moment we ordered they brought it to us and it was outstanding. Then when it was time to go, I actually asked them if they had a certain dessert and she said oh yeah my mom's making it right now she just finished it up. Do you want some? I was like heck yeah I do. Of course the dessert was fantastic and we will be going back. I had this restaurant bookmarked for a long time because I never find my self in the downtown area. Arrived to find the restaurant dark and closed. A guy finally opened the door and then said to us, over his shoulder, "you'll have to wait; my chef is not here...or my staff." Tired of businesses displaying a profound lack of respect for their customers. Here's an idea. Ask your staff to arrive at least an hour before opening. We ordered the mezza platter with hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel, and the shawarma plate with beef. I was too hungry and forgot to take a picture of the mezza platter. The falafel was crisp and moist in the inside. I'm not sure what the pink stuff is sprinkled on top maybe rose petals? My first bite was a weird bitter flavor but after that every bite was exploding with garlic deliciousness. The shawarma plate had two different types of rice, with a salad, and tzatziki. Perfectly marinated beef with strong notes of cardamom, garlic, and coriander. Baklava was amazing! It had a nice crunch but was soft and juicy. The pistachios are crumbly and perfectly sweetened. I loved this dinner! I had a takeout order - I got the Baba Ghanouge, pita, Falahi Fries, and Shawarma Wrap (lamb). All were delicious and I will definitely go again. Because I got takeout I can't speak for the service but they were timely and sweet when I picked up! We just had a delicious lunch at Falahi Bro's. This is a small, family owned restaurant and their personal touch showed. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a friendly server. We found out he is the owner's son. He helped us with suggestions, but his friendly banter made our meal extra good. The food was so good. I love falafels but they are often dry, he said they were not dry and came back to check that we liked them. They were sooo good! I ordered the Kabob Gyro on pita. It was delicious with tangy pickled peppers and a delicious spicy sauce. The meat was beautifully seasoned and grilled. My husband ordered the Kabob Rice Plate. He likes it too. It was a generous serving and he brought home 1/2 for later. There were 4 adults, a 3-year old and an infant in our group. They brought over Magnatiles for the 3 year old which kept him engaged and happy. We loved that little extra touch of hospitality. We will be back soon! read more

We are so happy to have found this place. Inside is warm and inviting and staff is so friendly and helpful. Chicken shawarma wrap was fresh, perfectly assembled and absolutely delicious. I guess it was the owner who welcomed me and while waiting, he brought me a complimentary mint tea that was great. She offered me a free pistachio pastry (I can't remember its actual name) and it was delicious. She truly made my day. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the resting actually a lot larger than I expected to be. When you initially walk in, it's a smaller space, but there's actually an entire back area with more seating.
