But without any type of expensive blood work or test Drs in Macland hospital were able to tell me that my dog had no cancer and healed my dog with simple medication. My pet is 14 years old and running around and cancer free under Dr Baun lady doctors treatment .i highly recommend this hospital for second opinion they can fix the problem . They have excellent staff as well. I give 5 star to this hospital.

This used to be a good animal clinic back when ty was there. My son who was autistic went with me…read morebecause my dog had dark dark urine. Come to find out he has renal failure. It upset my autistic son and he made a comment laughingly he said I don't know I wasn't there that his dog better not die because he would then turn into John wick or something like that. They sent me a letter saying that you and your male companion made threats against us so you can no longer come here. I never made one single threat I don't know why they put me in it. I don't understand why they can't see that an autistic child would be upset and say stuff out of being upset. None of this is neither here nor there because ever since I took my dog there my dogs health has gone downhill. They told me back in July that my dog had high liver enzymes but that was normal for his age. They wanted to do more tests but I didn't see the need in doing more test at that time as I could not afford it. I went back to check his weight and he had lost even more weight so I made another appointment and that's when they told me that he needed a $2,500 exploratory surgery. All they were trying to do was skim me for money. I took my dog to another vet who gave him milk thistle and now he's back to normal. This is a very expensive clinic for the little amount of customer service that you get. There is always a turnover in staff and each doctor will tell you that there's something else going on with your dog. I suggest you take your dog anywhere but here because he's liable to die. My dog may die anyway because this facility did not put him on milk thistle when he first had high liver enzymes. I paid for two blood works and three X-ray views. This told the other that all she needed to know. It's either cancer or non-cancerous tumors but in her experience she said no matter what you did the dog died within months anyway. So all they wanted to do was get my $2,500 and when they realize they couldn't scam me out of the $2,500 they came up with this reason to throw us out of their practice however it was a good thing.

Extremely Disappointing and Concerning…read more What a shame. I am extremely disappointed by the apparent relationship between this clinic and a breeder called Fancy Toy Poodles. Puppies are being sold by this breeder, with missing, inaccurate, and questionable health records and puppies that are already sick! The situation is heartbreaking because these are innocent animals whose health and well-being should come first. I was told that the breeder works with Chastain Animal Clinic and recommends this clinic to buyers because they can receive a discount. If a veterinary clinic is knowingly facilitating or enabling the sale of unhealthy puppies, that raises very serious ethical concerns. Veterinarians and veterinary clinics should be advocates for animal welfare--not simply part of a business arrangement involving breeders. I hope the appropriate authorities and veterinary organizations take these concerns seriously and look into the situation. These puppies deserve better, and consumers deserve transparency when making such an important decision.
