I've mentioned specifically that she wasn't eating well, she was lethargic, she had diarrhea, and that she seems shakes and seems weak. Each time I've visited I've been told Alaska is fine and am prescribed something and sent on our way. Our last visit was on Wednesday 5/17/23 - during this visit I expressed extreme concern for Alaskas health. She hadn't been eating for several days and because Alaska ate treats from the vet Dr. Olga's response was "don't make something out of nothing" and then suggested blood work and vaccines and sent us on our way ($300 later). Fast forward three days later, Saturday 5/20/23 and Alaska was still not eating and her drinking started to slow. I brought her to a NEW vet and they drew blood and IMMEDIATELY found abnormalities and suggested further tests. Alaska had to stay the night because she wasn't stable - $3,800 later - we found that Alaska has Addisons Disease and almost died. Dr. Olga either ignored the signs or didn't know enough to treat my dog properly... either way, it's not okay. This doctor and this clinic have lost all trust.

Spent over $1,300 for a consult and spay just for them to be closed for 2 days in a row with less than a 24 hour notice. Waited over 30 minutes at the initial consult appointment. Day of the spay appointment, I drop my cat off at 8:00 AM and was not even given a phone call with an update. Tried to call them for an update at 1:45: PHONES OFF!!!!! Called at 2:00 PM to find out the my cat has BEEN SITTING IN A KENNEL AND STILL MOT SPAYED! She was not spayed until 3:00 in the afternoon with the excuse that "it's busy" but they'll put her under and give her something to come back up. AN 8lb CAT?! She's not a science project. She was in a kennel for more time than she was in recovery which was a little less THAN 2 HOURS! Arrived at 5:30 for the pick up and Waited over 15 minutes in an empty lobby until someone decided to step out from the back. Brought my cat home with oral gabapentin and she could not tolerate it. Was advised by a TECH to continue giving oral gabapentin when my cat was clearly adversed to it and told me to call back if she was still having problems. Tried to call back and they were closed from 12:00 on Friday until that Monday. Not even ONE doctor on staff? Closure announcement made LESS THAN 24 hours in advanced AND made through their GOOGLE ACCOUNT? Not even an email or automated phone call to inform patients? Sketchy business, sketchy service and I will NEVER go back. I will be letting everyone I know to steer clear of this vet unless they want to spend a grand for lousy service.

My dog has been a Bond Vet patient for years. Last week, he was treated for an issue that did not resolve with the prescribed antibiotics. I called the Somerville office last night to explain my concerns about his ongoing symptoms and was instructed that I should bring him in right away this morning for an emergency appointment. When I arrived, there were 0 other patients in the office - all exam rooms were empty, as was the waiting room. I asked the receptionist, Hannah, how long I should expect to wait and she informed me that Dr. Rahel Lungo was in the back doing paper work and would not be able to see my pet. I explained that I had specifically taken time off from work to bring my pet in, per the office's insturctions, and expressed my confusion that a veterinarian could not take a few minutes to evaluate a sick patient already sitting in the clinic. Despite this, I was told there was "nothing they could do" and was directed to drive to another Bond Vet location 30 minutes away. I found the entire interaction unacceptable. This was one of the least patient-centric healthcare experiences I have ever encountered. The issue was not capacity constraints or an overwhelmed office - the clinic was visibly empty. The issue was a complete lack of accountability, urgency, and basic compasion from Dr. Rahel Lungo. It is deeply concerning to me that a veterinary organization that positions itself as modern and customer-focused would treat a long-standing patient in this manner. As a result of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my pet to Bond Vet. To Bond Vet - I encourage you to assess if this a problem isolated to Dr. Rahel Lungo or if this is a broader reflection of Bond Vet's position on patient care.

They consistently have trouble drawing blood, and the appointments always feel rushed, like they're trying to move on to the next patient as quickly as possible. He was one of the first techs to see Lancelot and I have seen him at many clinics. That one cost me over $1000 too,for something I was told would cost around $250. When I came in for the last few visits, nobody ever seemed to know why I was there. Basic labs were drawn, revealing a high T4 level, and so Dr. Alizaine recommended starting methimazole for hyperthyroidism. When I asked about if it could be falsely high because of her illness or if it's possible the sample wasn't handled properly (since warm samples can cause elevated T4 in bloodwork) Dr. Alizaine brushed me off completely. I asked about re-testing when she was less acutely ill and he essentially told me that to wait longer to treat was to want my cat to get sicker and sicker. And so we started treatment. A week later on a Thursday we brought kitty back in because her food intake had gone down (but still eating half her normal) and asked for more bloodwork. He said no, it's the UTI and she got bloodwork last week, sent us home. Saturday morning I wake up and kitty is YELLOW. Rushed her to the emergency vet to find her AST/ALT (liver values) are so high they can't even quantify them. A feeding tube for a month, many tears, antibiotics, and repeated inpatient hospital stays later, I'm out $17,000 and armed with the knowledge that methimazole can cause these liver damage and failure in 1-2% of cats, not that Dr. Alizaine ever mentioned this. I was quiet at this point. Medication adverse effects are a risk we have to take to treat disease. However, the last couple months we have been looking to radioactive iodine therapy for kitty's hyperthyroidism. We took her off the methimazole for labs as instructed and surprise, surprise - two entire months after being off the meds, and kitty's thyroid levels are perfect. The thyroid experts say it was probably a one-off value, maybe a lab error or a swapped sample, but not something we'll ever know. Regardless, kitty does NOT have hyperthyroidism, and good amount of my heartache and pain from last year could have been avoided or improved if Dr. Alizaine had just ordered repeat bloodwork or listened to our concerns before kitty went jaundiced. Overall, Dr. Alizaine genuinely seems to care for your pet and their health. But he does not listen to reasonable requests from the pet parents and bulldozes them into following his treatment plan without making sure it's right. Thankfully I've moved at this point, but it's safe to say I would not recommend Dr. Alizaine as a vet to anyone.

I was threatened with collections over a clerical error less than 12 hours after leaving the vet…read more I had been bringing my cat to Bond Vet because she has been dealing with ongoing health issues, and until this experience I trusted the clinic. Unfortunately, my last visit completely changed that. At my appointment on **July 6, 2026**, I paid the invoice that was presented to me and left believing my account was paid in full. After I got home, I received a voicemail informing me that Bond Vet had accidentally failed to charge me for my cat's prescription and that I would need to pay the remaining balance. By the time I received the message, the clinic had already closed, so there was no way for me to resolve the issue that evening. The next morning, while I was at work, I received multiple phone calls from the clinic. Before I had a reasonable opportunity to return those calls or make the payment, I received a text message threatening to send my account to collections if I did not pay immediately. For those who understand the collections process this effectively means they would sell my "debt" and someone else will try to collect/ take me to court to recover it. To be clear, this was **Bond Vet's billing error--not mine.** The balance existed only because the prescription had been left off my original invoice. I never refused to pay it, and I paid it as soon as I was able after receiving the threat (less than 24 hours after the appointment). What disappointed me even more was the clinic's response when I tried to discuss the situation with management. Rather than acknowledging that threatening collections less than one business morning after their own billing mistake was inappropriate, the General Manager told me she was "doing me a favor" by sending the collections warning, insisted the communications were "quite nice," and offered only, "I'm sorry you were offended" and "I'm sorry it hurt your feelings." I wasn't looking for anything unreasonable. I simply expected an acknowledgment that the situation had been handled poorly and that patients shouldn't be threatened with collections before they've had a reasonable opportunity to correct a mistake the clinic made. I also emailed Bond Vet's corporate office outlining my concerns in detail and requesting a response. They haven't replied yet. Everyone makes mistakes, including businesses. What matters is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of accountability, poor customer service, and an unnecessarily aggressive approach to collecting a balance that resulted from the clinic's own error. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Seaport Bond Vet.

If you have a large breed dog, avoid at all costs. God forbid your dog bark, the vet will instantly clam up and become terrified while faulting you and saying your dog is dangerously under trained. Not something you would expect from a place that literally is meant to treat dogs. Be prepared to be scolded about your choice of dog breed though you're paying for a service. Honestly, don't walk, RUN the opposite way. Any vet that labels a "breed" aggressive clearly hasn't no business in the industry. Any animal or person can be aggressive if you push the right buttons. ***EDIT: Obviously, based on the above it is clearly to be concluded that I had no intention of bringing my dog back here. However, Dr.Buckley found it a necessity to e-mail me to scold me further for leaving my honest review. Clearly, feathers were ruffled.
