Overall: 5/5! Amazing! Ambiance: My husband and I came during Happy Hour 3-6pm on a Friday and it was completely empty. However, there are really cute decorations in here, mood lighting and a water feature. Good music was playing in the background! Service: Extremely attentive and kind. Parking: Street parking only. Food: I ordered the fresh spring rolls and Tom Yum soup with tofu. It was the BEST soup I've ever had in my life. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. We were seated quickly, and the food was delicious. We were just trying out different Thai places nearby, and this one was a great find. The ambiance had a cozy, dimly lit, romantic vibe, perfect for a meal with friends or your significant other. We'd definitely come back again.

Not sure why this spot has such negative reviews. I thought the quality and taste was great today! Service was friendly. Super tasty soups and entree. I recommend the three we ordered. I love soup noodles, so opted to try two different ones Tom yum noodle soup: level 3 spicy (not "Asian" spicy), we could have gotten a 4 and been ok! Just enough sour and a little heat. Noodles soaked up the soup and the seafood was tasty! Man this broth was so good! Kow soi Chiang mai: level 2 spicy, a very tender piece of chicken, rich and flavorful broth, good texture noodles in the soup and the fried ones on top. Make sure to squeeze the lime in and add the sides to it! Chilis were given on the side to make it spicier if wanted. String beans and eggplant entree with tofu: level 3 spicy So tasty!! Get a side of jasmine rice and soak the sauce up. The tofu had a great texture and the eggplant was delicious! String beans were a little stringy. Overall solid dish

The food: expensive for what it is. Long ago dear reader, this Goblin worked in food service. He can spot "ready-made foods" from a mile away. This place leans more "eating to satiate", than "eating to satisfy", no matter how hard I fight my Goblin brain. Each meal, I come to terms with the sucker I am for eating a $27 omelette before tip. Herein lies our problem dear reader. Do I want a hummus plate for $12-15, that is essentially a disassembled and then reassembled menagerie of pre-made product on a plate? Or how about a cup of some mid-gumbo for $8? As a Goblin I have eaten many old soups out of a dirty cauldron, but Mid-Gumbo tastes like how Jack Harlow must feel waking up and telling himself he got blacker. Concerning the food (and Jack Harlow), it's about more than just lack of seasoning.

We've tried all kinds of things there, but what really keeps us coming back are the nachos. They are amazing! Sometimes better than others, but 80% of the time, they're truly incredible. Did I get a mole? Did I come here for some work thing? I remember spending a bit above what I wanted to. The servers are helpful, but the bar is slow to get drinks out. They are also expensive and just okay. The interior looks like a Goblin outpost in a dark castle, so in that respect, they get points. There's a fire feature if you appreciate burning down the countryside like me. Sure, you can get some charred brussels sprouts in a balsamic glaze with feta and bacon to kick off the hang. But 2/3 times, the brussels sprouts came out as black as my Goblin heart. I like some smoke and char, but it tasted bitter and underwhelming. Chips and Gauc are serviceable, but don't come running. This place made more sense before exorbitant food cost increases across the greater Seattle area writ large. Let me paint one final picture for the real ones, "Matador is essentially Mexican Olive Garden with low lighting and candles". If you are okay with that, pull up a chair. In a world where four Goblins used to eat for $80, it made sense. No amount of sizzling fajita flare can change my mind.
