Szechwan Beef $17.95 + Substitute Fried Rice $3.99
    Dianna N.

Szechwan Beef $17.95 + Substitute Fried Rice $3.99: So good. After the first time we tried this place, we came back the same week because we couldn't stop thinking about. The sauce is amazing. Honestly if I could just have the sauce plus the fried rice, I'd be in heaven. The beef on my last visit was quite tough, so I do hope that was just an off day. I always forget to ask if they could do the fried rice without peas, since that's my only gripe with it. Pork & Skewered Prawn Teriyaki $18.95 + Substitute Fried Rice $3.99: I don't eat prawn but I tried the pork, and it was very tender. Especially compared to the beef I had this visit. The teriyaki sauce was tasty too. I think we asked once if we could build our own combo, but the answer was we had to stick to the pre-set combos on the menu. It's hard for me to stray from my Szechwan beef and it's not part of any combo. I do think in the past we've tried General Tso's chicken, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki. But I haven't repeated any of those. I do want to try subbing yakisoba noodle for $3.99 next time. ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. Unlikely for me to return. 3 Stars - OK. Open to coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way to. 4 Stars - Yummy! Will definitely return if I haven't already. 5 Stars - AMAZING!!! Would plan my day or even a trip around eating here.

Most amazing oriental salad I've had!!! You gotta try it

Their Oriental Chicken Salad with cabbage and dressing on the side is still amazing. They may have changed ownership but still have a large menu, plenty of indoor seating and great food portions. I have left overs.

I got Chicken teriyaki, katsu combo and substituted rice and salad for yakisoba noodles. Although prices go up, the food is delicious with huge portions. Definitely can feed two. I have gone here several times over the years, good food and so many choices, Japanese food and Chinese. I always do take out but they have put in some very nice dark green chairs. Comfortable to eat in too. Menu attached

Lots of teriyaki, yakisoba, fried rice, and wok special options. They have plenty of tables for dine in. It seems like most people get their food to go. Tried the Friday daily special - chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu served with rice and wasn't impressed. The chicken teriyaki was drenched in teriyaki sauce and was too salty and the chicken katsu tasted dry. If I were to get teriyaki from here again I would ask for teriyaki sauce on the side.

I was in the mood for some good Chinese food last night, and regrettably West Seattle is lacking in that. I have had some good meals from New Teriyaki & Wok over the years, and I decided to try them again. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Mongolian Beef Combo and also an order of Pork Fried Rice. Very impressed. The food was extremely flavorful, and it was fresh and hot, and the portion size was perfect. The hostess at the front was very friendly and she was coordinating several orders. Thank you New Teriyaki & Wok, the food was phenomenal.

Love this place. The food here is amazing and the people are very nice. You can order ahead and pick up or dine in. The restaurant is clean and it's right next to the Thriftway, so there's easy parking. I really enjoyed the food here. The tastes are so strong and it's not salty. Overall, this is definitely my go-to Teriyaki place in West Seattle

Very, very good takeout teriyaki. Plenty of sauce yet still crispy and a large portion for some leftovers. I'll be back! Much better than Grillbird, the place up the street

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

I know this because a little bit fell on my napkin. Beef was tender. Absolutely loved every bite. Seasonal Creamy Hokkaido Uni Udon- this was also amazing. Very creamy. Loved the saltiness of the salmon roe and chewiness of the udon. Wouldn't mind getting this again. Seasonal Lavender Matcha Latte- I don't usually like to drink my dessert but this was exceptional. Absolutely loved the lavender foam. It was perfectly balanced and perfect amount of sweetness. I'd get it again Seasonal Purple Sweet Potato Mont Blanc- this looked better than it tasted the sweet potato itself was more savory and needed the soft serve to make it taste more like a dessert. Once you make your way to the soft serve, spoon a little bit of the sweet potato with a full spoon of soft serve, then it'll be good, in my opinion. Kohaku Matcha Parfait- delicious. Loved the little bit of strawberry and the warabi mochi. Probably not the best matcha parfait I've had but I'd get it again. Got the Sakura Tendon Set to go for dinner on the plane. While it was tasty, the crispiness didn't hold up so I would not recommend taking it to go/eating it at room temp. The grilled steak don probably would've been better for this purpose but I have no regrets. Service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in town.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

I agree with another reviewer (I had the seared salmon bowl when I first went) and I loved it - but I am a minority because I know the quality of the salmon was super high and I don't require a lot of sauce to enjoy it. But every time I get the mixed chirashi sushi donburi, it is just "beyond expectations." I have now gone almost a dozen times, and it feels like a treat to bring people there - Georgetown in itself is a bit of a surprise, parking is tricky but there is parking lot and the hours are great (I think till 9:00 daily) and the people and service are wonderful. My friend who speaks Japanese talked to the owner and he started this restaurant in Japan and brought it to the Seattle area about 5 years ago. It feels totally authentic, Japanese owned and run, and the quality is consistent every time.

Order at the counter or kiosk, and they'll deliver the food to your table, which you bus yourself at the end.
