Dining on the patio overlooking the action on Main Street is a pleasant experience, and the service was good overall. I was not impressed with the Thai Gimlet cocktail- too many flavors going on. Shrimp spring rolls were well executed, full of fresh and crisp vegetables. Pad Thai was cloyingly sweet and just meh. A couple things to be aware of. Our server asked us if we wanted sparkling water with our dinner. We asked for still and received two large bottles of imported Italian water instead of the standard glasses of ice water. Stopped by for dinner in September 2025. Overall was pleasantly surprised despite bad reviews. The interior is cozy, not many diners when we went so it was pretty quiet. Service was good. We had the Khao soi and the drunken noodles / pad kee mao with beef. The Khao soi was pretty good. A bit on the thicker side in terms of curries but the portion was good and flavors were there. Not the most authentic but I think it does it justice. The drunken noodles were good, chewy noodles without being mushy, lots of basil which I appreciate. We arrived at 6:00 on a Saturday night and were sat promptly. It is quiet and not busy at all (I sure hope they have a busy season). We started with the calamari (which looked and tasted mass produced, should have gone with the fresh rolls) and ordered the Yellow curry and Pad Thai. What a great experience. Me and my husband have tried our fair share of Thai and trust me their food is good. Prices were reasonable and the pineapple fried rice is in our top 5 favorite fried rice we have ever tried. The service was very attentive and they even make accommodations for pets and have outdoor seating. The mango sticky rice was excellent. Brave to add other fruits on there, i appreciated the experience but mango is always where it is at The inside is also very charming, good natural light but also not too bright, good for photos Food Breakdown Pineapple fried rice 9.5/10 husband says would like a bit more quantity for the price curry 8/10 good with shrimp spice level was mild, could be a bit spicier and please eat it with jasmin rice. I came here during the week during a little day trip to park city with my boyfriend and his sister while visiting them and it was actually so yummy! They have inside seating and patio seating and the patio seating was the move on a beautiful day. The ambiance was great and the service was quick. No complaints and I would totally come back. Visiting from Los Angeles, land of Thai food glory, I'll admit I was skeptical. Bangkok Thai on Main had a 3-star average, and I was bracing for a sad stir-fry and a lifetime of "told you so" from my wife. But plot twist: it was fantastic. Beers on tap? Solid. Thai iced tea? A perfect 10--sweet enough to power a small ski lift. Shrimp fresh rolls? Fresh, crisp, and so good I briefly considered hiding them from the rest of the table. Pad Thai? Generous enough to feed a family of four, or one hungry Angeleno in denial about altitude. Also: absolutely delicious. Soft shell crab panang curry? Worth writing home about (and I don't write home often). And the staff? Friendly, upbeat, positive vibes all around. I half-expected them to high-five me on the way out. We're only in Park City for 3 nights, and now we're debating: hike more... or eat more Pad Thai? Honestly, it's a tough call. The pad Thai is decent, the portion is adequate but all other dishes seem to come in much smaller portions for a steeper price. I also ordered a glass of wine, but the pour is absolutely underpoured, I wasn't even given half a glass for $14 per glass. The glass should be filled at least past halfway for that price. The service was remarkably mid, I had a waiter ask if they could take my plate before I was even done and still had food on it. The establishment feels like they just want your money and to turn over tables quickly. We love the Pad Thai special here...All you can eat for $15 AND IT IS ONLY IN THE BAR. It's available right now for either lunch or dinner and was so yummy- lot's of chicken. It was such a large serving that we had it for two more meals at home. We never took advantage of the 'all you can eat' because neither of us could get through half! We were told only one person has ever emptied their bowl to order another. Make sure to ask for the spicy condiments. I ordered medium spicy and then added to taste- little bowls of spice heaven that they bring out. Our bartender, Jake, was really good and made the best Lemon Drop Martinis! He shook it a really long time so that those lovely ice crystals float on top of the martini glass. It was probably the best prepared Lemon Drop I've ever had. And it was a special of the day at $9! Table for four was very small which would not necessarily have been an issue but the servers kept bringing food without removing dishes. We finally had to ask for them to be cleared. The pot stickers were extremely puny in size and deep fried--very strange--and luke warm. The wings were fatty. Dipping sauces extremely sweet. Drunken noodles tasted of butane gas and had little flavor. Soft shelled crab was drowning in curry sauce and could have offered more meat or veggies for the price. We came in on a busy Saturday night and were seated within 10 minutes. We had two children ages 7 and 9 with us. The hostesses were very kind and did their best to get us a table quickly. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the Crab Rangoon and rice paper Spring Rolls for appetizers (didn't get a picture before we scarfed then down!). For dinner we got an order of Chicken Pad Thai which was very good with a delicious sweet flavor. It was a hit with our kids. My husband and I split the Pork Belly Prig King and oh my goodness it was amazing. So flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The veggies were crispy and fresh and the pork was cooked perfectly. Simon was our waiter and he was very nice and quick. We appreciated how he often checked back with us to see if we needed anything and there were people coming around refilling our water constantly. VEGAN REVIEW this place is ok. We got spring rolls, yellow curry, Thai basil, pad see ew. The flavors were pretty good, veggie & tofu is a protein option for all dishes. They are can easily omit egg. Our spring rolls came out frozen (literally frozen, not just cold) in the middle. The green beans in the Thai basil were raw (literally raw, not just undercooked). It gets pretty busy, so you have to be assertive to get service. Unfortunately, YELP does not provide me the opportunity to rate negative stars, otherwise I would have done so. So hold on tight, here was our experience... 1) Walking down the concrete steps to the restaurant was a hazard with ice and snow. We helped a father carry his young son down the steps. Mentioned the hazard to the hostess, and we were told that is the property manager's job. Really??? 2) We sat down at our table and were immediately greeted by our waitress with a question of if we were ready to order. No offer for drinks or water and had not been given menus. At that point, we probably should have taken our loss of time and left... 3) We ordered two Singa beers - both arrived warm and when we asked for a Pinot Gris, she wanted to know which one... Hint, there is only one Pinot Gris the wine menu... Oops... 4) When we got the drinks, we ordered appetizers (Spring Rolls). Again, she wanted our entree order... Not very happy when we asked for a bit more time. 5) The spring rolls came, but no silverware or plates... Oops... Had to ask twice to get them. And when we asked if there was any mustard to dip the rolls in, we got a very nasty look (I kid you not), and was told they had ketchup but no mustard. Is this a Thai restaurant, or Burger King? 5) For our entrees we selected Pork Ribs, Drunken Noodles, Fried Rice, and Coconut Sesame Shrimp. All arrived cold... yuck! And even if they had come warm, they were all devoid of any of the spice and flavor one expects from Thai dishes. 6) Then the topper came after we we at the table for 89 minutes. The hostess explained that there was a 90 minute limit on table times. We needed to settle up and leave the table. I guess she didn't account for the 4 tables around us that were empty. Oops... 7) When I mentioned to her how disappointed we were with the food and the service, in her best "I don't give a darn" voice told us she would tell the manager. No "sorry", no question of what could have been done better. 8) All this experience for only $205.79 prior to tip. What a deal!!! read more

Ate here for the first time yesterday. Have to say that their mango sticky rice was absolutely phenomenal, and the presentation was beautiful! The ambiance was stunning. I loved the stained glass downstairs in the dining area. I also loved their Thai decor. Their customer service was also pretty great, though it did take a while for us to get our check even though we were one of two parties at the restaurant. The prices aren't super terrible, though. Walk in down stairs and got seated quickly, the service was good and the food was also good. It is a smaller space like most on Main Street park City and a little cramped but nothing to worry about, they did a good job clearing the table quick as you finished a plate. It is pretty authentic Thai food and the dish that stole the night is in the pictures, top notch. The asked how spicy out of 5 and we said 2.5 push toward 3 and it was perfect. Grab Rangoon was house made like I've never seen before. My favorite Thai spot in is Bangkok in Columbus Oh and it was pretty close. The peanut sauce is 5 stars with the chicken satay appetizer. After a morning on the golf course with the boys, we decided lunch on Main Street was in order. Because we were overwhelmed by choices and hadn't ventured that far down the strip, my friend quickly decided Bangkok Thai sounded best. PRO: Their outdoor patio sits on Main Street which allows for fresh air and the best of people watching. CON: It fills up fast and doesn't turn over quickly. PRO: The main dining room is decent size with a variety of seating, features Thai accents and colors and creates a comfy atmosphere. CON: It feels a little unassuming, not well labeled and isn't well lit. PRO: Servers are nice, offered suggestions, refilled our waters and brought things out in a timely fashion. CON: Clearly very understaffed, couldn't provide any house made cocktails as the bartender didn't show up for work, and felt the need to share their stresses with patrons. Awkward. PRO: Menu is HUGE and offers a variety of delicious Thai and Chinese eats! CON: Prices are OUTRAGEOUS! While lunch dishes are the only reasonably priced options ($15/dish), the appetizers start at $12 (for a soup!), and main/dinner menu dishes start at $25! YIKES! PRO: Portions are huge, split dishes that want to be shared with plenty left to take home. CON: None! While I know being in a touristy mountain town is bound to take a hit at my pocket book, I didn't expect our lunch (with wine) to cost over $100. Woah! Second, it is massively overpriced. Entrees are like $22-28. A bowl of sticky rice was $7. Chicken Satay was $15. And it was terrible. Third, they added a credit card charge of 3% to every order. The portion sizes were great as well, I got the pumpkin curry and it was so authentic and probably the best Thai curry I have ever had (I've been to A LOT of Thai places)!
