We were searching for Italian restaurants in Park City and saw a few, so glad we went with Loma. It has a nice and inviting atmosphere and our server was great and very informative. They served up delicious food. We start with the Apple Gorgonzola Salad, it's refreshing and appetizing. Good and tasty sauce on the Roasted Tomato Pizza, and the Ricotta Cavatelli was very flavorful. I absolutely love the side Sautéed Broccolini which has a little spicy kick in it. When we couldn't get a table at Yuki Yama during our preferred time slot, often considered one of the best sushi spots in Park City , we opted to try this restaurant instead. There were plenty of open seats, and we were seated inside right next to a large group with very noisy kids. I had hoped to try the wood-roasted cockles, but they weren't available during our visit. Instead, I ordered the mortadella with grilled chicken, while my husband went with a pizza and a house salad. Overall, the food was okay and we would have enjoyed the experience more if the kids nearby hadn't been screaming, while their parents seemed indifferent. Although our server was friendly, efficient, and even apologized for the disturbance, it still took away from the overall experience. Dinner for two adults and two kids came to $278 with tip, and it was one disappointment after another. My son accidentally spilled his lemonade, and instead of offering a refill, they charged us for another one. He was upset for the rest of the meal over something that would have cost the restaurant pennies to make right. Then there was the kids' pasta: $32 because he asked for red sauce and a single meatball. That's an outrageous price for a children's meal. The food arrived so scalding hot that we couldn't even eat it for nearly 10 minutes. It honestly felt like it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. To make matters worse, all four of us felt sick afterward, and the pasta seemed undercooked. The meal completely ruined our evening. Instead of enjoying the rest of our night, we had to head straight back to our hotel because all four of us felt so sick. And whatever you do, avoid anything with squid ink. You'll be thankful the next morning. For nearly $300, I expected quality food, reasonable service, and basic hospitality. Instead, we left overcharged, disappointed, sick, and wishing we'd eaten somewhere else. We definitely won't be back. read more

First off, the staff (every single person we encountered) was absolutely great! From the person who answered the phone and got us a last minute table to the owner himself, the staff was absolutely amazing! Then the food...equally amazing! We started off with the focaccia which my kids gobbled up. I had the rigatoni all's vodka which was really light, bright and flavorful! The cherries and peas literally popped in my mouth! Husband loved the mushroom pizza which he enjoyed as well. The only thing that we weren't super jazzed about was the kids cheese pizza. I think they put a strong cheese which my kids didn't love but my son did say that Loma had the best butter pasta he ever had! read more

I came here with a large party of friends, which gave me the opportunity to try most of the things on their menu. While my own dish (the squid ink fettuccine) and one of their "weekly specials" (the lamb ravioli with broccoli rabe pesto) were fantastic, I'm ultimately giving them a three star because everything else I tasted was aggressively mediocre. The clam and focaccia appetizer had a really fishy aftertaste and was supposed to have squid ink focaccia, but they ran out and just substituted normal focaccia without telling us. The house giardiniera veggies were so salty it was literally inedible, we all took a single bite of the dish to try and it felt like I was eating a straight mouthful of salt. I'm not sure if it was just a one-off issue and they did end up removing the dish from our bill, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. The pear and speck pizza was a fun take, but overall had a very one-note flavor profile and I wouldn't want eat more than a single slice to try. In general, their pizza just tasted a little too bland for me, like I was mostly eating plain crust. The meatballs, wild boar bolognese, and vodka rigatoni were all very standard and didn't excite or frustrate. I didn't notice any difference between the wild boar and just standard ground beef, for what it's worth. Their chicken breast (available as an add on) was also very overcooked and dry for both of the dishes it was added on to. I'd actively recommend against getting this as an add on. The desserts were also nothing to write home about, though I will say that their tiramisu was extremely boozy so if that's something you're interested in, it could be worth a try. tl;dr: If you come here, just order the squid ink fettuccine (or the lamb ravioli, if it's still available). They are by far the best dishes here, and everything else was largely unexciting or actively disappointing. read more

The service was really great and friendly. We ordered the grilled calamari special and focaccia for starters. Both of those dishes were excellent and so we were looking forward to our mains. I ordered the veal Milanese. It came w polenta and was way too salty. My wife ordered a pasta with shrimp. Unfortunately the shrimp was overcooked and some of the pieces were even charred black. Came here as a party of four during the film festival. The space is very warm and cozy which was nice on a chilly day. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We started with the mezze platter and then chopped salad (with peaches, so unique and delicious!) I ordered the chicken and polenta dish. The chicken was so juicy and I loved the pine nuts in the dish! My company got the hot honey pizza and it was so large and very good! I also enjoyed the cucumber and mint cocktail! Easily the best Italian restaurant in Park City. Everything we had was excellent. I do see some negative reviews, but they all appear to me to be from when this place first opens. I'm not sure what changed, but it is quite good. Everything we ordered was fantastic from the focaccia, to the unbelievably good / creative chopped salad to my rigatoni vodka sauce (added meatballs for flare). There are some truly terrible Italian spots from Grappa, Bartolo's, Versante to the absolute worst of them all Buono Vita. There used to be a good family style Italian restaurant in Park City called Cisero's, but unfortunately it left. But...happy to say that Loma is now on the rotation of restaurants for us. Also highly recommend Mumbai House across from it for Indian food. read more

Park City local here. We are generally underwhelmed by food options in the area but we do have our go-to places. This place has now been added to our list of favorites! I've been to Lima now four times. Each time we've tried new menu items so feel like I have a good idea of their various food options. This place has consistently delivered good food and friendly service. It's a casual but cozy environment and I cannot wait until summer where we can sit on the patio and enjoy an evening. I won't mention my favorite dishes because everyone has different tastes, but I'll say that whether you go for pizza, pasta, or an entree, they execute them all really well. While on vacation with my family (party of 3) we stayed in Park City but spent time in Salt Lake as well. We tried to avoid the overpriced restaurants in Park City and either eat outside of town or in Salt Lake. We had done great most of the week, choosing restaurants with good food that also kept us on a reasonable budget. I don't mind spending money on food if it's good! My family owned an Italian restaurant in Philadelphia for many years, and I used to live in Baltimore and would eat in Little Italy occasionally, so I know good Italian food. To be fair, I was not holding this place to those levels of standard. My son wanted to try this place, so on our last night here we thought, let's try it. Also, we were staying right next door at the Marriott Summit, which was a two-minute walk. I also had some gift cards to spend, so I figured if it's bad it won't cost me much. That was a factor in my decision because I just had a bad feeling about this place. Too many red flags for me. For starters, we ordered the focaccia bread app and three field green salads, which were good and reasonably priced, but it was all downhill from there. My wife and son both ordered the same pizza. I don't remember the name of it, and you can't see a menu online (red flag), but it doesn't matter. They were terrible (soggy, greasy) and what irritated me was they could have split just one pie, but they thought they were personal size. They were not. The waitress could have advised us on this. They were just trying to sell as much as they could. We through the second one in the trash the next day. Side note, the same week we had pizza and salads on our first night at Davanas, and it was great and reasonably priced. Just go there if you want decent pizza while in Park City. I don't eat a lot of pizza because I try to eat healthy, so I wanted an entrée, Some health protein, and I told the waitress this. None of main courses looked good to me, but I went with the flat iron steak. I was not happy the meal. Four little pieces of sliced steak on top of a hot pile of mushy salad and sauce. It was awful. They love to put ricotta in everything in this restaurant. Wife and son had galato, which was good. I just wanted to pay the check and get out of there. Overall, not pleased. We have been coming here since it opened and have never had anything but a perfect experience. The only thing better than the food is the service! Great patio for summer dinners with a great view and inside is great in the winters too. Last night we had yet another great meal. It was capped off by absolutely perfect service our server, Jamie! We walked in at 8:15 knowing that they closed at 9p and were greeted with warmth and a smile from the hostess regardless. Jamie was awesome with her recommendations, and batted 1000% with the watermelon salad, hot honey & pepperoni pizza and the BEST tiramisu we have ever had. We had a bottle of wine and were one of two remaining tables past 9 PM and never once felt rushed pressured or uncomfortable. They kept reassuring us, as we're always aware of these things, that they had plenty to do and to take our time. Should be a staple in your list of Park city restaurants! read more

We had such a good time! We went for dinner a week ago on a Thursday and it was great. Service was excellent - we were recommended the appetizer special of meatballs and they were amazing. Everyone in my party very much enjoyed their drinks and dinners. A couple of ordered appetizers to share as entrees and our server brought them out at the same time as entrees in a great, timely manner. OMG, from the seamless reservation process, incredible front door greeters, extraordinary wait staff (Melinda), outstanding attention to food allergies, organic choices, locally sourced, creative entrees, presentation, and #1 taste- we were beyond thrilled and impressed with our incredible dining experience at Loma. This place is an absolute must stop when in Park City! We have all traveled a lot (including to Italy) and this hands down was the best Italian food we have ever had! If you are looking for run of the mill Italian food like Olive Garden, this is not your place. If you are looking for unique, handcrafted food made with love then this is your spot. We sampled just about everything and no one was disappointed. Tita took care of our drinks and she was amazing. It was some of the best cocktails we ever had and the espresso martini was outta this world! Chef Jarod took care of us and made sure everything was cooked and plated beautifully. The warm olives and the focaccia were both very tasty and the olive oil that was paired with the bread but divine. One person in my party is a chef and he even said the olive oil was the best he has had. The mezze platter was fabulous and we tried several of the pastas which were clearly hand made and perfectly done. The mushroom pizza was so yummy that I contemplated doing the 45 min drive to go back just for that. We ended with the tiramisu, which was unique and full of all of the right flavors. Not a fan. Food was fair and it was like Italian that was trying to be trendy. Had marinated pizza. It had sundried tomatoes on it and that gave it an odd tomato flavor for pizza. Would be better as a plain margarita pizza. Also tried the pasta in vodka sauce which had large fennel hunks and drop peppers and a chili ricotta it didn't seem to marry well. Atmosphere was nothing special. Menu wasn't something that would draw us back with so many other PC options. Sad cause we like twisted fern. But this misses the mark for us. read more
