The fruit on top was definitely needed to add a little sweetness. I don't think I would have that base again. I adore their eagerness to answer any questions and get you the correct answer to help you learn more about their product. The restaurant is spacious and offers ample seating as well as outside dining in the rear. I normally get cold pressed juices and a meal. I had the pleasure of visiting twice in one week. I purchased the cold press TRULY GREEN drink that was high in antioxidants. Its ingredients are cucumber, spinach, kale, parsley, and lemon. To me it was really tasty but to others, it might be an acquired taste. I also had the smashed avocado toast. Who doesn't love a good avocado toast? Well this avocado toast was really filling and packed a powerful taste and it consisted of gluten free bread, seasoned smashed avocado, cilantro, Pico de Gallo, and topped off with a sunny side up certified organic egg. D'LICIOUS!! I also had the FALL IN LOVE salad and I did just that... Its ingredients are- roasted sweet potato, kale toasted chickpeas, roasted carrots, red onions, cauliflower, red cabbage, cilantro, spicy ponzu, over quinoa and served deliciously hot. I always FALL IN LOVE with a hot salad. I forgot the manager's name but we did talk about detoxing and juicing which I plan to do really soon. They also have books for those who want to read up on how to take care of your body through food and juicing. I told the young lady who was working there that they price was listed at $14 on their own menu; she responded that the correct price was listed somewhere on their board. Though I'm pretty sure it was unintentional, I felt a bit duped. Anyways, I took my food back home to see how it was. I couldn't help but to compare this enchilada platter to the one offered at Little Mexico about a block away cause they offer the same thing. So, first off, Little Mexico gives you a ton of chips and salsa when you order a platter from them. This was not present at Juicebox. The platter at Little Mexico definitely gives you more food overall. Anyways, I dug in, and the platter from Juice Box wasn't bad. The flavor was pretty good and there wasn't anything too offensive about it, but unfortunately it just pales in comparison to the enchiladas at Little Mexico. I couldn't help but to be disappointed that the enchiladas platter at Juicebox was less food, no chips, tasted worse, and was more expensive. The enchiladas platter at Little Mexico comes out to about $17-18 after tax. So those were my thoughts overall. So that was my experience with Juicebox Cafe. I might give it another shot in the future cause it's close to my home, but I don't feel inclined to, especially after the pricing debacle I experienced and the price I paid didn't seem justified.
