Okay I admit it might not have same thing I'm used to but they do well with the sandwiches regardless of cold/hot/accuracy of ordering/bringing it to your table & they also helped me with further plans for this town (COUNT ON IT). Been here a few times on the way to BGR airport. Usually ordered the Cluckin' Bacon Ranch which was OK. This time, I decided to order a Kenduskeag and a Ruben Sandwich. The Kenduskeag literally had one slice of ham and one slice of cheese and some vegies on it- that's it. For $11.50 there was next to no protein in the sandwich. The Ruben was on rye with a crust so stale and hard, it was not edible- another waste of $11.50. Thing is that the owners here just don't give a damn. No way should a customer ever get slices of stale bread from any sandwich shop. Do yourself a favor- go somewhere else where they actually care about the quality and quantity of food they sell you, because it isn't here. I had the Queen City (a variation of an Italian sandwich), my wife the Philly cheesesteak and my buddy a meatball sub. Walking around the very walkable downtown area we chose this place for lunch. They had a sign out front boasting about the chicken salad sandwich which is a personal favorite of mine so, I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! Fresh bread and all fresh ingredients made this the best chicken salad I've had in a while. My better half had the Taco salad and said it was very good! Sat outside on beautiful afternoon. We stopped in once for sandwiches after our flight into Bangor. Husband got the vegetarian sub, I got the sexy something (turkey, roast beef, cheese and too much stuff). In retrospect I should have stuck to trying a BLT or hot meatball sandwich which are the two things I typically order when trying out a new place. But, I was hungry and feeling adventurous after the flight. Neither of the sandwiches we ordered were satisfying to us. Not sure if it was the bread or the stuffing. went here bacause my got to "jersey mikes" was closed because of bad weather the previous day. disappointing is not strong enough of a word. got a cold "italian" bland bread, 2 pieces of ham, 3 slices of salami, provolone and american cheese (who does that?) all i tasted was green pepper. even the construction of the sandwich was poor. Ordered the $9 "Cluckin' Bacon Ranch" (Chicken Bacon Ranch) sub and it was an absolute disappointment. It looked and tasted like someone took unseasoned chicken, bacon, and threw it in the microwave and then went overboard on the ranch dressing. It was bad. As in I couldn't even eat it. Was going to try and choke it down out of principle since I blew $9 on the sandwich, but 3 bites is as far as I could tolerate. Absolutely would not recommend eating here. read more

Having been born in Detroit , Mi, Decided to give their Detroit style pizza a try. Although, admittedly I didn't know there was a Detroit-style pizza. Ordered the supreme and truly enjoyed it. Was a square pizza with Sicilian style crust. Plenty of vegetables and toppings , the sauce was unique, a bit tangy with a slight spice. Highly recommend you give it a try.
