Garlic bread side order with cheese. Don't know why I don't have a picture of the pizza, but it was great.

You place your order at the counter. My wife and I ordered a large cheese pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. For an appetizer, we had garlic bread with cheese and a side of marinara. When we arrived, there was a sheriff's deputy eating there and told us the pizza is excellent. After he left, a Bangor police officer arrived. And when we were leaving, a State Police officer was arriving. We would definitely go back again.

The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! Greek pizza is the absolute best, along with their Greek salad/homemade dressing, stuffed shells and lasagna (which both come with a side salad). Their baklava is over cooked but everything else has kept us coming back for years! (Lg pizzas come with a free liter of soda) Family business and always pleasant. Check it out!

Excellent foods! Love their grilled chicken salad and my basalmic vinegar dressing was home made like all their dressings. House pizza was great tasting as well. Plenty of toppings and crust was crunchy and baked just right. Hubby had a turkey club sandwich and he said it was a good sandwich. And their fries was delicious and crunchy. My family love their wings and said it was crunchy and great!

Garlic bread was really good. Pizza was nice and hot. One of the only places in the area open later. Salad was basic.

Great flavor with perfect crust and fillings. YUMM!!!

I am very impressed. I stopped in to get a small calzone to go. Angelo's is located close to the airport so I wasn't sure how good the pizza would be. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the staff, and the calzone. The 'house' special was amazing. The small calzone is enough for 2 people. The dough is not to thick and let's the fillings enhance flavor. I don't usually give 5's and taking this 5lb small calzone to go, just deserves a five star.

I ordered the caprese sandwich with spinach instead of tomato and added tempeh. I was disappointed that the tempeh was smoked. A different flavor would have been better (pesto, plain). We all enjoyed the sandwiches. The ambiance was casual with music themed artwork on the walls. Tables were available inside and out. There was one high chair for our baby. Very convenient. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed.

On our way, we were hoping for an excellent lunch, and Harvest Moon deli had good reviews, so we figured it was worth a try. The menu is a cute idea - themed around music (and presumably the name of the deli itself is after Neil Young, but not positive). There are a lot of options to choose from, but I landed on the chicken salad sandwich just because it's a classic and I was really in the mood for some. My sandwich was a disappointment. The bread was somewhat dry (especially the crust), the chicken salad itself was also dry as well. It was not flavorful, either. My husband's club sandwich had too much mayonnaise on it, so he ended up donating some of his mayo to my dry sandwich cause. (I didn't try his sandwich, but since his was toasted, he didn't experience the same dry bread issues). The deli seating area and bathroom was clean, and the staff were friendly and the service was fast. I probably would give this another try someday if we needed to have lunch on the way up again, and I'd get something entirely different to compare.

We got some…read moresubs for lunch while sitting in bliss at Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park again this week. The owner, Diane, thought she recognized us, but I told her she was mistaken. She then told us the short story of taking over the establishment which used to be next door run by a gentleman for upwards of 60 years. She kept his menu and added to it. Their subs are slightly different in that the meat is on top, and the fillers in the rolls. The wife picked out the #7 - Tourney Time Turkey which has veggies, American cheese, Turkey Chunks, Pepper (Green), and Pickles. I chose the #6 - Blu Ox Roast Beef which has the same toppings but also with Horseradish or Bleu Cheese. All the sandwiches I believe also have raw onions. However, since they are made to order, they can customize your sandwich to your liking. Diane also recommended some homemade macaroni salad or possibly the soup of the day, which today she called "Thanksgiving Leftovers." She said she just made it this morning, and had lots of turkey, potato, and other stuff (but not real leftovers!) We both went with that "soup." She also suggested the homemade croutons instead of crackers to go with it, and we also chose them. She threw in a baggies full of the croutons, and we were quickly on our way. We thankfully avoided the seagulls in Schoodic, and had the soup in the car as it was slightly raining. OMG, this was really a Thanksgiving Gumbo with a lot of flavor and pep. The homemade croutons threw it over the top. I could have just had a few more servings of this instead of the sub. After a couple hours overwatching the Schoodic version of Thunder Hole, we had our subs. My wife and I were a little surprised at the foot long rolls they came on as they had the consistency of being like a hot dog roll instead of what we're used to. The turkey chunks were plentiful and tasty. They are also made daily as they cook whole chickens and turkey breast to cut up for their foods. I could have used more meat and fillers on mine, but it was still quite good. And the seagulls got zip. So 5+ stars for the Thanksgiving Leftover Soup (Gumbo), and 4 for the subs. I'm rounding up due to the very friendly service and I always like to support local businesses when possible. I think there's a bazillion Subways in Maine, but only one The Legacy Sandwich. I'm going with The Legacy Sandwich. $30 for the two subs and two soups. Well worth it.

Wait staff flying thru and bringing dishes minutes after forcing parties to wait to eat. Winter time - icy parking lot - HUGE big truck at doorway - No handicapped was available. Decided to try again - again food straggles out - the prices went up as well - the salad they give for a $25 plate of food is served in a child kitchen dishes set - am I wrong?--- (also went up a $30) Smart TV playing all the magnificent journey the owner went on. Here is a poor town with many people desperately trying to make ends meet. 1. Most can't afford this prices- $30 -requires a real full dish salad - 2. Most people want to be able to enjoy all eateries, fairs, parades, festivals, ice cream stands, food stands instead of running to local bodega for a piece of beef jersey and a beer. 3. The ready made food is ok sometimes but I'd love to have a porterhouse and king crab legs too - and choose to order -- not just what is made for the day. We tried the burrito- they add potatoes- no one ever adds potatoes- and they won't take the out. White potato is inflammatory- can't eat it. Was hoping breakfast items had more Gluten free variety & dairy alternatives: goat milk - lots of goat farms around - all sell goat milk in supermarkets- I checked I think this area suffers enough and everyone should experience a meal in any eatery in Dover Foxcroft- You all represent businesses in the area and the communities people pay your bill(s). I'd love to see more accommodating prices - open every day so ALL MAINERS can find a seat at your establishment. MAke affordable meals as well as your expensive ones ---People should choose. DId you say cake? can you cut a real normal piece? this is not NYC- only place ever served so ski skimpy like yours ---was at Tavern on The Green--NYC Other things distracting- owners sitting with "special or favorite" Again- small town - Owners-Chef should greet and hear compliments from all patrons. All patrons should be able to give constructive criticism on what they are served. I can critique as we had a very successful restaurant and a grocery store. Being part of community- store owners have an obligation to uphold certain business ethics as they enrich the community and the community looks at you and how you handle your staff and your store. It's been a while. I figured there would be new, and hopefully friendlier, staff. I was half right. There was new staff, but unfortunately, they were as unwelcoming as the last batch. This place has no prices on any of the premade sandwiches or pastries in their cases (why??), so we asked "Hey there, how much are your pies and cookies?". The employee was in the lobby sweeping and said "I'm not sure. Somewhere between $3- $5. Maybe more". She doesn't look up. Doesn't offer more clarity. She just shrugged this non-answer to us and carried on. It was awkward. So my husband, trying to make light of it, says "Sounds like it's up for debate so how about I give you $2.50" and this girl gives us a dour look and snaps "Well, I'm not behind the cash register so I can't look at the prices, can I?". So, we have now learned our lesson with this place twice. Not sure what it is about the culture there that results in such bad service years apart and by different people. We won't be returning.
