This is my own opinion and preference, but I do love a good menu that is a bit more expansive. I enjoy knowing the different flavors, different drinks, specialty menu items. While they did have some of those things at the register, I wish I had just a little more time to review. Coffee was good. Inside they were busy so we sat outside and of course, it's love bug season so we had to protect our drinks. That is no fault of Summer Moon whatsoever, just Florida! I'd come back if I was in the area to try a different flavor and see if I can snag an inside seat!

What better place to get my craving than a French bakery, right? Ambiance was as expected. There was also an entrance that lead out to a patio with table and chairs if fresh air was your preference. Many of baked goods to choose from as you can see from the pictures. As for my chocolate croissant, a bit disappointing. Dry and barely any chocolate. I'd asked to have it warmed and it just flaked. All so very surprising coming from especially a FRENCH bakery. Which... leads me to surmise the others may be dry as well? I gave it 3 stars as the cappuccino was tasty and ambiance was enjoyable. The coffee bar has several different roasts and flavored coffees to try, or you can order the coffee bar as your drink and get a mug for unlimited self-serve refills. We ordered their signature iced coffee, and it was delicious. The food menu has plenty of ways to customize your meal. I had the crab salad sandwich with a side of cinnamon bread, and it was fantastic. I'm not a fan of celery, but it was finely chopped instead of having big chunks, so it was perfect. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with great food, delicious coffee, and genuinely friendly service. I'm really glad we found Sweet Bean, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to.

Service isn't slow or rude, it's efficient and adequate. Simple, charming, do your own thing once you've ordered and enjoy your day. If you're expecting the normal amount of over the top, endless checking on you and the more typical American service standard, you're probably going to be disappointed. I think this place is terrific and takes me straight back overseas every time I come. They also serve Lavazza coffee, of which in a big fan. Give it a try, have realistic expectations for a small, local owned and run cafe and you'll love it.

Paul loves their Monte Cristo and I was in the mood for blueberry pancakes and bacon (also got two eggs over medium as part of their Small Morning Bloom). In 2003, Chocolattés opened inside HealthPark Medical Center, a place where most people probably don't wish to spend their day. Yet, one cup of coffee at a time, they found a way to uplift visitors, staff, and families during some of life's more difficult moments. Over the next 12 years, Chocolattés expanded to all four major hospitals, bringing that same experience to even more people. We immediately were greeted with a nasty attitude from the kavatender and felt like any questions we asked were responded to with condescension. When she served us our drinks, mine was half full, which I assumed was normal, but decided against asking why this was because of the cold attitude we were given. Also, the kava did not give the same effects as what we are used to back in California, so other than the taste, it was not worth the money. We were nothing but kind and excited to give this kava bar a try but, unfortunately, this encounter left a bad taste in our mouths and we will not be back.
