Loved it! Big menu with lots of healthy options and some treats. Coffees, Acai bowls, smoothies, and more. Came on a weekday morning - most people ordered ahead for pickup but we ordered on site and it took a few minutes so definitely be patient. We just got drinks - the shaken espresso with protein powder and the flexpresso shake. Both were delish and filling! I loved the flexspresso, not sure where else you can get something like this - it was a protein smoothie with flax and chia seeds plus espresso! Absolutely delish, not too sweet, and held me over til lunch. Really nice staff, they told us all their food has the ingredients clearly listed, no additional additives so you know it's fresh! Came here because I know they pride themselves in clean food that's good for you. I had met the owner, Barby, before and she is so passionate about what you put in your body and that is so important, especially being pregnant. I wasn't super hungry but I was craving a smoothing and so I ordered their Power Up smoothie and it was out of this world good. I loved it. Lady up at the front was very nice and informative about all the food and drinks available. Coffee there is excellent; smooth and rich roast, is not acidic at all and leaves no gross after taste. I had a BLT that was delicious, crispy and fresh and a healthy green smoothie that was not super sugary. The ambiance was calms and refreshing with all the greenery. Stumbled upon this gem this morning and boy am I glad that I did!!! I am a sucker for anything lavender and since they have a lavender latte on the menu, I just had to try it. It was delicious! Coffee is strong and flavorful as it should be in a proper coffee shop and lavender flavor was perfect. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. She walked me through different items they offer including gluten free options. The inside of the cafe is adorable - A tropical coffee oasis. They do have a few tables outside with umbrellas so you can enjoy a nice breakfast/ brunch in the shade. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back here soon! read more

Big Energy Cafe is appropriately named. The first thing one can't help but notice is that the owner, Barby, has a positive and "Big Energy" energetic personality with a contagious smile. The first time I entered, She and her helper John greeted me and made me feel right at home. She explained she has been in business for only 90 days. She makes everything fresh herself every morning. On my first visit I ordered the "Spicy Sunshine". It consists of coconut milk, cuties, banana, ginger, honey, and turmeric. It was refreshing and delicious. On my second visit I inquired if she had any high protein smoothies. She explained that she could add protein powder to any smoothie. One could choose between whey protein or a paleo version. Either way, one would receive approximately 25 grams of protein. There were several flavors of protein to choose from also. With her recommendation, I decided to go with vanilla whey protein added to the "Blissful Berry" smoothie. The BB Smoothie consists of blueberries, strawberries, and bananas, mixed with H2O. The vanilla whey protein was the perfect addition as it made it taste rich and creamy. It was really good! Hands down my favorite cafe in Fort myers. I have tried a little bit of every thing off the menu and I can honestly say the quality and flavor is on point. You can taste how fresh everything is. I've had my eye on this cafe for about a month now and finally stopped in to try it out. I got the "Dream Green" smoothie and it was fabulous. The employee who took my order was very nice and who I assume was the owner was also very sweet. She seemed to have a big personality and was joking around with the employees, this was nice to see and you can tell everyone enjoys their time here. The inside is small but cozy, well decorated. They have a nice patio that I can see myself visiting often to get some work done. I have yet to try the food or coffee but I'm sure they are also very good. This spot is a hidden gem. It has an island vibe and the decor is thoughtful and welcoming. The space is kind of tight but there are a couple small tables inside that comfortably seat 2 but you could squeeze a family of four with small kids. There's also a small bar if you wanted to drink your coffee or eat your meal. They do have an outdoor patio area with plenty of space if you choose to sit outside. Spots like this are usually hit or miss but this place is pretty dang good. One of the absolute best bowls I've had. The Isla Azul was delicious. The consistency of the bowl was perfection.
