The several times I have been for a Banh Mi or soup it was excellent! I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Dropped by for a Banh mi on the way to a graduation and this place isn't too bad! The restaurant itself is pretty small inside.. a couple tables inside and a couple outside to sit and enjoy your food. Service was ok. She took our order and when it was done she left it on the counter to let us know it's ready for pick up. I ordered a lychee/peach green tea and a traditional banh mi .. my lychee green tea is on the sweeter side.. I think I would order it less sweet next time if I go again. The Banh mi was decent. The did really liked that it was super crispy. My son had the bbq pork banh mi with a Vietnamese coffee .. he said the coffee is a bit salty.. so I'm wondering if their coffee is the salty coffee one but wasn't stated on their menu ‍ His Banh mi he said was really good.. the bbq pork was nicely seasoned. Came in to have lunch on a Friday. Enjoyed the beef Banh Mi sandwich with a fried egg. Also ordered the beef broth soup with meatballs. Both of these were so delicious. The service is fantastic. I will definitely come back. After having the beef brought soup, I realize that this is now something that I will crave on cold days. Finally a traditional bahn mi place in Petaluma! I ordered delivery a couple times and finally get to dine in this time. The pho broth is amazing. I kinda wish the bowl is a little bigger so I can have more broth! Bahn mi is 5 stars! The bread is fluffy and not too much dough. The pickles are done perfectly. Oh to find a place that makes good Banh Mi? I believe I have found it. I look on Yelp and it shows 4-1/2 stars. Really? Ok, gotta check this place out. After getting bloodwork done I was really hungry. Ok Banh Mi Zon ... you are definitely it in my search for a decent Banh Mi for North Bay! I truly miss all the authentic Viet Banh Mi I used to get in San Francisco. And honestly, no one can ever top Saigon Sandwiches in the Tenderloin. This place is pricey but what I got was a nicely made sandwich with their own house made pate (and I always order extra pate). I ordered the spicy pork belly and it was hot, juicy, and the bread was toasted to my liking. My sandwich came to $15.50 with the extra pate. It's too bad they don't sell their house made pate otherwise I'd be all over that to take a few containers to go. Won't you reconsider you guys?! Saw this place on one sunny weekend and decided to give it a shot. Talk about yum! I got the traditional banh mi which was great. The pickled vegetables, cilantro, and the meats were all a great. The bread wrapped it all together- super tasty and every ingredient was made in heaven. Banh mi is a sandwich that knows complimentary flavor profiles. Very refreshing sandwich, and a great sandwich for a hot day. I thought I'd be concerned about the size, but no, it's super filling. I had got the shrimp spring rolls which was great with the peanut butter dipping sauce they have . Inside is small, but cosy. You can order at one of the little kiosks they have, and you'll receive a shout and a txt of your order # complete, or order at the counter. Next time I'll try their other options. Got their traditional the past couple times. They got vegetarian, tofu, and one I'm gonna try - sardines . Might have to try their coffee drink or one of their boba options too . I'm so glad amazing banh mi chain has opened in Petaluma! They got their online system ordering and smooth pickup process down! Banh mi is great for warm weather, clear sky days in Petaluma! Bread is freshly made and the meat fillings are a good size. I like Banh Mi traditional and it pairs well with their Vietnamese Iced Coffee! Their spicy pork belly and beef bulgogi was solid. Their shop has dining seats with tables and a streamlined process on the ordering. There can be quite a line during the afternoons around lunch so I'd recommend ordering ahead online - especially when the weather is nice and sunny. We've been driving by Bahn Mi Zon on our way to/from Sonoma/Napa and always wanted to try it out and we finally got the chance. Ordering online for pickup is super easy and convenient so I definitely recommend it. We got the traditional bahn mi, which comes with the cold cuts and pate, as well as the pickled veggies, cucumbers, cilantro, and jalapenos. We asked for extra jalapenos and they happily obliged. It took just about 15 minutes from the time we ordered until our order was ready, which is perfect as we were just coming back into town from Sonoma. The baguette was pretty good - it had the crisp, crunchy exterior shell with really soft, pillowy interior. It's not so crunchy that it'll tear up the roof of your mouth, but has a nice crunch to it. I'm not sure what they marinate their picked veggies in, but it had a strange after taste like artificial sweetener - again, I don't know for sure what they use, but I wasn't a fan. All the veggies, including their pickled veggies, were super fresh, clean, and crisp. The sandwich itself had a good balance of veggies to cold cut to pate, although the pate was very mild in flavor compared to what we're used to. Also, I'm not sure that they dressed the sandwich with soy sauce/maggi seasoning, which is pretty traditional. Overall, the sandwich was good and we'd get it again in a pinch, however, there are far better bahn mi, even in the area. read more

I took off 1 star for the app and self serve devices. The app and their self serve order devices did not offer all options available. The side of pho and the Cheese foam topping for drinks weren't on their app and self serve devices. I ended up ordering with the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Food is DELICIOUS!! I love me a good traditional bahn mi n pho. I left satisfied and excited to want to come back and try their other option. Restaurant is very clean, casual. I like their shorter table and stools. Really sad that this place does not care about providing restrooms for their customers which is required by law in Sonoma county and California. Their food is really good, but they're lack of caring for their customer is not. Doubt that we'll be back and will certainly tell others. Last time we were here which was months ago they said the restrooms were out of order and when I contacted the owners, they said that people put diapers and things like that into the toilet and therefore they couldn't keep up with the repair repairs that's just an excuse. It has been months since we've been here and no effort has been made to fix the restroom for the customer despite this being the law. I will Definitely report to the county. read more

Place was very small and crowded located on the corner of the plaza. Their sandwiches are pretty good. Drinks were also great. I personally the Hong Kong milk tea with grass jelly and it was just as I expected. Perfect balance of milk and tea without the overpowering sweetness. I will however pass on the grass jelly tho. It seemed old, some of the jelly had this crusty dry texture. My sisters ordered other drinks there and I was able to try them all. Banh Mi is great and came out fast, and they are super accommodating. They don't have hot water, but they boiled hot water just for us. I asked if they made their coffee without sugar. They said it was pre-mixed with sugar, but they could make one without sugar, it would just take a little while, so I opted for the black tea. They noticed we wanted to sit indoors so told us we could bring in the chairs from outside so that we could sit indoors. They brought everything out to our table even though it is designed for us to pick up at the counter. Super friendly and welcoming environment. I'll start by saying I will definitely give it another try. The traditional banh mi - I ordered it as-is, no modifications - was fresh. I liked the large proportion of the pickled vegetables although the pickling is sweeter than I like which I was able to off-set with Sriracha sauce. The biggest let-down was the nearly non-existent pate and the rubbery consistency of the pork - I prefer it steamed but they don't offer it that way. The service s friendly and efficient and I appreciate they have the option for self-ordering if you pay with a card. The space is small but well-lit and very clean - it's tight in there so I don't imagine eating on-site but it's nice there is plenty of seating while waiting for your order. read more

Rating for Hong Kong Milk Tea only. I ordered on their app a Hong Kong milk tea, double black boba, no ice, cheese foam. I wish they would add more options on their app such as sweetness preference. I would have preferred 75% sweet. The taste was great if you like 100% sweet. However, the boba was not good at all imo. They were not round, soft, chewy balls. The texture was more like the grass jelly for tea milk. See photo. I was sorely disappointed. I'll get my milk tea at Teaspoon when I crave good boba milk tea.
