I got here quite often and I have to say they're never disappointed! Very friendly staff, clean seating area and the food speaks for itself. I usually always get the pork belly bahn mi. The bread has that signature light flaky crunch and the pork belly is like butter! There have been so many cafe/restaurants in this spot but this one is by far the best. My granddaughter and I like to check out various Boba places and then she will vote on her favorite one. We chose VN Flavor today. My granddaughter had the mango milk tea and just loved it and I had the Matcha milk tea. It wasn't as green as normal, yet it was very tasty and not overly sweet which I prefer. My granddaughter, who is the pickiest eater I know, said she was hungry --we asked staff person working what she recommended - she suggested their Popcorn Chicken. I was so pleased to see my granddaughter devouring it. I had the avocado spring rolls, which were yummy and the presentation was beautiful. Fiona was a great help and very friendly, the restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated as were the bathrooms. I have a mixed feeling for this review. In a nutshell, this place is for anyone wants to try Bahn Mi / Vietnamese food for the first time. For a lack of a better expression, it's like Panda Express for Vietnamese food. Some said this THE BEST Bahn Mi they've had. I have to say, "best" is a relative term. personally, i like mine with liver pate, fish sauce and all the authentic flavor, like the ones I had in Vietnam. These sandwiches have none of that. Had the 5 spice chicken and the pork belly. The sandwiches are tasty, but I cant say it is authentic. The same sauce was used so they tasted kinda the same. the only difference is the texture of different meat. Again, what I like is probably not the same as the Sonoma demographic. I was craving some Vietnamese food. And happened to come across VN flavor. They are located in a plaza area and have outdoor and indoor seating. The staff are super nice and friendly. They have a lot of parking space. We ordered their special stir fry steak and egg rice for $22 and the rice plate with five spice For $19. We also ordered their special pink lychee boba. Everything was so delicious. The ambiance is very relaxed and chill. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They forgot our drink. We finished our whole meal and the drink was still missing. But to compensate for them drink being forgotten we got free toppings. Their lychee jelly is so delicious not overly sweet it was refreshing. My first sip the lychee was a bunch of ice but after storing everything it was perfect. I will definitely come back for other food dishes and drinks. read more

Doesn't even taste like a Matcha Milk Tea. I have no idea what I'm drinking. The guy was really nice but definitely don't recommend the Matcha. The boba has a weird texture. Having tried their sister restaurant, Savor, many times, I decided to drop by VN Flavor to pick up some lunch. Food menu is similar to Savor, including taste, look and presentation. I always order the vermicelli bowl at Savor and ordered one here yesterday. As usual a solid 3.5-4 stars. The strawberry matcha unfortunately was flavorless besides the small clump of strawberry on the bottom. However, must get here is their popcorn chicken!! Since I love pho, I had been wanting to check this place out for a while. It used to be Cafe des Croissants, but that location closed during the pandemic. I brought a group of 6 students here with me to have dinner. Most folks got some kind of pho, vermicelli, or a bahn mi. I really enjoyed the veggie and tofu pho that I had here, though they don't have a veggie broth, so I had it with beef broth. It was delicious and perfect for the cold and gray weather we have been having. The service was pretty quick. This is a very casual restaurant, you order and pay at the front and they bring your food to your table. There is AMPLE parking in this pretty empty shopping center. We were a large group of 7 people total, and there is only one table that could hold all of us. There was one woman already sitting at that one table, but she was kind enough to trade tables with us. For that reason, I would say that this place is not good for big goups. Groups of 4 is probably the max unless you want to split up into separate tables. The prices are pretty standard for pho these days. I believe I paid $17 for my veggie pho. They do the whole service and bring a large plate of thai basil, bean sprouts and jalepenos. I was sad not to see the culantro (I'm not sure what the Thai name is, but that's what we call it in spanish). Culantro is a pretty standard addition to the greens that are served with pho all across this country. It was good and I would definitely go back. I feel like this place was more authentic than the other place on the other side of the shopping center. I will have to come back and try their other dishes read more

I waited 25 mins and noticed my meal was given on accident to someone on who arrived after me. They should consider keeping the doors closed because there were so many flies inside the restaurant. Some tables were still dirty. Everything was self serve pretty much which was fine. Super casual restaurant. All in all, come check this place out for some good Vietnamese food. I had the pho soup and it was so salty i felt my blood pressure rise. I started to have heart palpitations or apib. I called 911 and they took me to the hospital. Was in the area from San Francisco to visit a friend and decided to visit this little place located in a strip mall. I really didn't expect much but was totally impressed with the food. Took a friend yesterday for lunch. I ordered the House Special Vermicelli, and she the Tofu Spring Roll with a side of Rice. Friendly service, the food was to our table within 5 minutes. Large portions. I appreciated the flavor of the greens in my dish, adding mint was a nice touch. I was so busy talking that I didn't notice that my friend barely touched her food. The waiter did check on us twice, so she had the chance to tell them she didn't like her dish. It wasn't until we were leaving that she told me the wrapper for the spring roll was very gooey and chewy. Had she said something sooner, I would have requested a remake. That in itself wouldn't have been a deal breaker. The deal breaker was the fact that there were TONS OF FLIES everywhere. When we left I noticed the front door was wide open. The bad: Got the fried popcorn chicken which was litterally like chicharrones on the outside which wasn't too bad but the chicken inside was inedible shoe leather I thought I broke a tooth at one point lol there litterally wasnt an ounce of moisture. Went there for lunch for the first time and the server was very helpful in recommending different dishes and always checking up on us if we needed anything. While we were there, the owner came out and explained to new customers the different dishes, and how spicy they were. Stopped by while exploring Rohnert Park on a lazy Sunday. While you don't expect much by looking at the menu in the windows, trust me when I say this place will surprise you. The service was genuinely friendly with a pleasant atmosphere that was comfortable with music playing lightly in the background. The food itself - so good!! Like I said we weren't expecting much and were more than pleasantly surprised. The meat (bbq chicken, shrimp, and beef) was perfectly cooked as were the vegetables which were fresh. People who have nut allergies: be careful ordering here. Their banh mi says it has a "homemade mayo" but that is actually a PEANUT sauce. They should update their menu to make it clear which dishes have nuts. That being said, their chicken katsu fried rice is really good. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch.
