After the movies stopped for a bowl of Pho. It was yummy the broth was clean not oily. I would have liked more meatballs and tendon but it did have plenty of steak flank and tripe. Place is quiet when it's this early in the day nice spot opposite corner of theater. Service was great and friendly. One thing I didn't notice until I was done devouring the soup was I didn't ask for lime, basil, and beansprouts oh well next time. I also like the Banh Mi from here and it's a treat whenever I leave the theater convenient location.

It was a super cold evening & plenty of activity going on downtown Petaluma & this was a perfect place & night to stop by for some beef pho. The broth was really delicious, and it came to the table really fast. It's a good portion but they can work on the presentation. It looks like it was a serving from their home kitchen. When I go out I like things to look & taste better than what I can create. At the entrance, no one greets you and there is no signage to seat yourself, but that's what I did. Then someone came to the table & dropped off a menu and place setting. I proceeded to order and within minutes the soup arrived. With restaurants coming and going, they need to step up their game.

Lots on the menu so quite a confused menu Seems to be very much catered to non Vietnamese diners Very expensive and mediocre tasting bowl of beef pho. But I guess you can price it however you want if you're like one of the few pho places in town

As longtime fans of Saigon Village in San Rafael and La Maison de la Rienne in Novato, we are always on the lookout for good Vietnamese food. We found this lovely little place while visiting a relative here in P-town, and now I'm annoyed it's so far from our Marin home (not really, just a 15 minute drive). The spring rolls were great to start, and my wife and I both had pho, mine with wontons and noodles and hers with seafood and we were both very very happy with our orders! I'll come back in a heartbeat, or at least next time we're in Petaluma. Highly recommended. Lovely people, service was fabulous too.

Me and my husband went there this evening, sounded good since it was crisp evening. The service was wonderful, everyone was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The restaurant was spotless . We sat in the booth no stickiness on the seat just clean Everything smelled and tasted amazing. 99 percent of the time it is this way but I do appreciate them not paying any mind to Service dog when we came in and sat down. . Which I really appreciate so he can do his job and I can enjoy my meal. My husband was on a work trip he comes down here now pretty frequently was ns we usually tag along so it's nice to have a place we can regular.

Absolutely one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I had #X4 on the menu which is a shaken beef and the flavors were incredible, super tender beef, and large portion. It was recommended by the waiter and it was excellent!

Traveling again! This place was on my walking path as I explored Petaluma, CA on a business trip. And I am glad it was. Atmosphere was cool. Great art on the walls, simple decor beyond that. Service was prompt and awesome! Very nice people and very attentive without being intrusive. The food - delicious. I had the tofu and veggie plate. The veggies were hot and crisp, cooked perfectly really. The fried tofu was fried to perfection. And the sauce of the stir fry was on point. Served with a little white rice, and I topped it off with a taro root smoothie with boba - so good! Seriously, a nice little spot to stop in for lunch if you're in Petaluma!

After a weekend of hiking, this place really hit the spot!!! The portions are a good size and the owner is so friendly, we will be coming back‼

Boneless chicken pho & Beef pho
    Noah S.

The only reason I can think of this restaurant not having a perfect 5 star rating is from competitors trying to sway business away. The food was top notch, with this broth being literally the best I've ever had. I had the chicken which they slow cook for 5-6 hours each day and my girlfriend had the beef which takes upwards of 10 hours (slow cooked over night). Not only was the food amazing but the service leveled up their game just that much more. Waiters came up to us asking if we needed anything multiple times during the meal. I was even allowed to get a half order of the wings since I just wanted to try them (excellent by the way). Finally the ambiance and atmosphere, it feels so welcoming. During our time here for December they had Christmas decor which was a nice touch. However, what impressed me the most was how clean and open the design of the place was. Furthermore, the music they had playing was relaxing and not overbearingly loud. Overall if you love pho, soup in general, or are looking to try a new place. I will 10/10 recommend.

I was very surprised to try and like Soban, especially here in Petaluma. The menu is limited, but I think it rivals authentic Korean food found in the city or peninsula just the same. My only gripe is the food can take forever. It seems like a small team running the place, so be prepared to wait a bit.

Sadly a lot of the dishes were lacking. Banchan: Good selection, their kimchi was more mature and sou. I don't love that they charge for refills. Gimmari: was one of the best things we ate at Soban. Crispy on the outside and the noodles on the inside were perfect. Soban Chicken: This was the most disappointing Korean fried chicken I have had in a long time. It was dry and lacked flavor. Pan Fried Mackerel: This was okay. Slightly overcooked but my toddler and I enjoyed it. Kimchi Bibim Guksoo: The noodles were good but the Kimchi again was on the more mature side which made the noodles overly sour. I would still come back to Soban given it is one of the few options for authentic Korean food in the North Bay.

I would rather eat lobster or…read moreartichokes than chicken or green beans, and given the choice I'd gladly eat my body weight in dim sum over basically any other food. That hasn't changed at all for me as an adult! In Sonoma county there was really just one place with dim sum, and lots of people wanted more options. I tried other restaurants with their dim sum adjacent menus, but they were pretty mediocre and mostly focused on fried pot stickers or the occasional steamed siu mai. Once I heard fantasy was starting a true dim sum menu, I knew we had to try it. The day we arrived I was solidly in my third trimester of pregnancy and getting around was a chore, but that wasn't going to keep me from dim sum. We were the only guests the whole time on the day we went there, which was weird to me given how good the food ended up being! Service was great, super friendly and just lovely folks. The restaurant was clean and we'll organized, and the menu was a good mix of traditional favorites and some trendy BAO for the insta. We ordered a little of everything , which to me is why dim sum is so fun. Food came out super fast, and we tucked right in. Surprisingly to me, my favorite dish is one hubs picked on a whim, the spicy won tons. The flavors and textures were on point, and even with pregnancy heartburn, the spice on these things was well worth it. Super delicious. I felt the pandan and black sesame bao were overly trendy for my taste, but I'm sure those who are new to dim sum could see these options as easy introduction into the food. Really good experience here with very tasty food, nice people and quality dishes. I'm still getting over the idea of expensive dim sum because of growing up eating it in SF with low costs in a humble setting, but for this overall experience I felt the prices were fine. I will definitely be back, and eager to try the rest of the items on their menu.

Located on Lakeville Highway, just east of Hwy 101, it would make a good place to stop for a nice lunch or dinner. I was there on a warm Saturday, at around 11:30 am. The dining room has a contemporary asian decor. The AC kept the air cool and comfortable. There's several 2,4, and 6 seat tables. Just before lunchtime, the place was 1/3 full with customers. I was seated along the wall. I was offered a menu, and choice of hot tea or ice water. I asked for chopsticks, because the place setting had a fork. I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch plate w/ fried rice. Also, I asked for an order of (Lightly Breaded) Fried Prawns. Service was excellent. My waiter was very attentive, and served my food as soon as it was ready. He told me if there were any delays. I didn't have to ask for anything. The Fried Prawns were large and plump. They were served with various sauces to choose from. The Mongolian Beef lunch plate had a nice presentation. The portion size was fair. The fried rice was moist, and blended well with the Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef was spicy and tasted just right. Hot 'n Sour soup came with the lunch plate. Lily Kai's recipe for hot 'n sour soup is a little different than what you might get in most other chinese restaurants. They make it with alot of mushrooms.
