I've been wanting to try this spot out for a while and finally had the chance to try it recently. When you walk in, you are greeted by a whole refrigerator full of whole cheesecakes and slices. Since this was my first time I asked for the best sellers and was told the Oreo and banana were some of the top sellers. The Oreo cheesecake was flavorful, and the banana one was decent but was hoping for more flavor on this one. The textures of the cheesecake were pretty good, I was hoping they were going to be more creamy and velvety though. The price is a little steep for the size of the slice. $7.99 per slice so it's not very wallet friendly but what isn't expensive nowadays. Probably wouldn't be rushing to come back but cool to see a whole store dedicated to cheesecakes! read more

I can't express how much I love this place! The cheesecake is exceptional. I just wish they had the raspberry cheesecake on the menu at all times. I can't stop coming here. It's funny, I'm not the biggest dessert person. But I love a good slice of cheesecake. I've been wanting to check out Banham's after months of watching their Instagram posts. Banham's is family owned and opened in Arcadia in the Fall of 2020. They sell cheesecake whole or by the slice and make them fresh daily. They operate out of a small place that has a display counter and a few tables. Most people usually grab their cheesecake to go, but they do have coffee available if you want to stay and eat your slice at the store. After years of eating at that chain restaurant down the street from me, I forgot how delicious a freshly made piece of cheesecake tastes like. Banham's makes really good cheesecake. The crust is so amazing! So far I've tried Oreo, Key Lime, and a few of the fruit ones. You can't go wrong with any of them, but the Key Lime tops them all for me so far. The service has been nothing but hospitable every time I come here. Another thing I love is that Banham's Cheesecake opens late! I LOVE cheesecake! I saw this place on an Instagram foodie account and had to try it! This is a very tiny shop with all of the cheesecake slices in the showcase right when you walk in. I believe the owner walked out to greet me and he was so pleasant. I told him that was my first time in the shop and he reassured me that everything is homemade. We wanted a little late night sweet and I remembered I wanted to try Banhams so we made a trip to check it out. It's located directly off Indian School in the Sprouts parking lot. It was about 10pm on a Saturday night and they still had at least one of everything available. We tried out Oreo, strawberry and key lime. The prices are not bad for the slices and they have whole pie options as well. Now, the cheesecake, these other reviews are not lying. The cheesecake is perfect. Creamy with a delicious buttery Graham cracker crust. I think my favorite was key lime but honestly all 3 were amazing. The whip cream that was on the key lime was light, airy and fluffy like the cheesecake. We cannot wait to try out the other flavors. I tried the red velvet and Oreo cheesecakes. Both slices were light, airy, creamy, fluffy, and perfect! The cake in the red velvet was also extremely moist and integrated into the cheesecake well. So tonight we were exploring Phoenix and ran across this sign that screamed "cheesecake". We decided to go inside and check it out. The inside had two tables and the interior was super cute. The best cheesecake of my LIFE. Banham's was a last minute stop hours before I had to leave Phoenix, and it was worth the drive out. The menu online doesn't do it justice, the options are enough to try almost one of everything (which we nearly did, leaving with 7 slices of cheesecake). As a place that prides themselves on cheesecake, you just know it has to be good. However, I didn't expect it to be this amazing! Unlike other cheesecakes, Banham's has an artisanal texture (not a carbon copy, extra smooth texture) and flavors that are complimentary and deserving of all the stars around. I ended up enjoying the Halloween Brownie (an orange food coloring, traditional cheesecake, on top of a brownie crust), and it was the most perfect cheesecake I've ever had. The cream cheese itself is thick, creamy, but not too heavy! As first time goers, everything looked amazing and after enjoying a couple slices, I guarantee they probably are all amazing. Of the cheesecakes that I've tried here, Banham's doesn't serve a cheesecake unless it meets their standard. You won't find a disappointing flavor here! The freshness of their cheesecake puts them at the top compared to chains like Cheesecake Factory, who, although have a delicious assortment, their cheesecakes feel very carbon copy than artisanal. The girl who was working here was really nice and answered all of our questions. She helped us with recommendations, and gave us a stamp card at the end for future visits. Since she tried the cheesecakes she was able to give us a clear idea of each which made it easier to find one for everyone! The dining hall was so pretty near the sunset, and everything was really clean. Each slice is priced really well, and they're ready to eat, when you are. The experience was really lovely, and we all left excited to enjoy our cheesecakes. I haven't stopped thinking about this place since I left it, and my only regret is I don't live closer to their location. From the buttery crust, to the creamy smooth and (in the best way) tart cheese filling... DELIGHTFUL. We ordered the coconut and the turtle. I also loveeeee coconut, so I had a high bar. Will it just be coconut or will I have notes of it? This slice soared on wings like eagles! The perfect blend. The turtle was very decadent and beautifully balanced. They have a good range of flavors, this month banana pudding where the crust is vanilla wafers, and others like Reese's, oreo, dulce de leche, original, and strawberry. Brownie cheesecake is a cheesecake with a brownie for crust, and a chocolate top. Deliciously decadent. Brownie is dense with deep chocolate flavor.
