When I told him that it was my first time there they gave me a breakdown of the run of how they use more natural ingredients and that like I've read by many people's reviews. The cheesecake isn't overly sweet. That is not a bad thing. I do not believe that cheesecake should be overly sweet. The toppings on each of the cakes, including the original with the cute little whipped cream at the The back in the small layer of whipped cream that covers the top of the original is incredible. The strawberry one I love the jam they use on the top of it. It's great. I would love the recipe for that. My favorite is the lemon curd. I love it. We only got three of them and it was a great treat just before my birthday. we had to drive pretty far, but it was totally worth it hands-down better than cheesecake factory and better than any cheesecake. I found this cute little gem from an IG post and I am so happy I came across it or else I would have never known about this place. Banhams is located in a shopping plaza off of 28th Street and Indian School next to sprouts. And let me tell you they have AHHHHMAZING cheesecake! I am a sucker for a good tasting and creamy cheesecake and Banhams surpassed all expectations! I ordered the banana pudding, brownie, and traditional and none of them disappointed. Okay, this is probably the best cheesecake I've ever had. I grabbed a loyalty card at the front desk, and I'm glad I did! Banham's is definitely more of a takeout style place, not a sit-down restaurant; you walk up to a glass case, point to the type of cheesecake you want, and buy by the slice. Long overdue review of one of Phoenix's top hidden gems! I stumbled randomly upon Banham on my way home from a gig at Sprouts. I actually bought food at Wing King next door but something about this establishment drew me in (maybe it's simple but inviting ambiance) I went in with no expectations and walked out with a pecan cheesecake and orig cheesecake for my wife. Normally she is not impressed but she could definitely taste the passion and love in her slices. They were delicate and balanced with their sweetness My second visit was for a friends birthday who i wanted to surprise with a treat. He was a big fan of tiramisu and thought it make the perfect dessert. There was some confusion in payment and i ended up underpaying for my cake although when i mentioned to the store they called me back to let me know it's on them and not to worry about it. The cheesecake was good in my opinion. I bought four different slices the cinnamon roll, tiramisu, an Oreo one and red velvet. Out of the four, the red velvet was not good and had kinda of a wired taste. The other three were much better and the tiramisu was my favorite. The thickness of cheesecake is lighter than a typical cheesecake, so if you were hoping for something thick and heavy with cream cheese you might not like this. I'd never heard oh Bahamas cheese cake. My sister invited me to dinner and after we made a pit stop for a dessert. I'm not much of a cheesecake person but I wasn't going to ruin the mood for my sister. I asked one of the employee's, Andre, which he recommended and he told me to try the tiramisu... and my God was that heaven! I've been back 3 more times since. We were greeted by a really nice girl working who asked if it was our first time in. She then proceeded to give us a rundown on their offerings and she made a few recommendations. They have whole cheesecakes as well as slices. There are a couple of tables should you be interested in dining in. We decided to try four different kinds of slices since we were in, but these slices are no joke. They are huge! I had to tap out after just a couple of bites of each. I'm glad I got to try a nice variety though. We tried the original, strawberry, coconut and brownie. This place has been on list forever now, happy I was able to stop in today and get a slice. They had a variety of flavors to choose from, I'm a huge fan of coffee dessert so obviously the Tiramisu stood out first. The brownie was another I wanted to try but ultimately decided to get the tiramisu one and I'll come back for the brownie one. Cheesecake is super balanced in flavor, I'm not a fan over overly sweet dessert so plenty surprised how good this was. It was light and airy but still creamy at the same time. The crust was by far the best part. I think prices are reasonable at $8 a slice given these are fresh. Will definitely go back and try other flavors read more

If you are looking for decent cheesecake at a good price, Banham's has you covered. With a dozen or so flavor options, we tried the 3 that stuck out most to us. Each slice was nice and creamy. The key lime had the best flavor of our 3, the others were just ok. I'm obviously in the minority here, so to each there own. It is very light and fluffy, and though there's something to be said for rich, dense cheesecake, Banham's has the right touch for integrating rich flavors and not making the cheesecake itself too rich. The edges and crust reminded us of coconut macaroons which we loved. It had both shredded coconut, and toasted coconut. We tried the Key Lime pie cheesecake and liked it too. COVID sucks. I've been under a rock for the past 2 years and I'm just learning of new places... such as this one. Banham's cheesecake is one of my née favorite places to get cheesecake. Friendly people and cozy atmosphere. 4 of us ordered 4 different types of cheese cake and each one of them was moist, delicious and made you want more (which I did and I ordered 2 to go) We ordered coconut, key lime, hazelnut chocolate and dolce de leche, and every single one of them DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I've been wanting to try this spot out for a while and finally had the chance to try it recently. When you walk in, you are greeted by a whole refrigerator full of whole cheesecakes and slices. Since this was my first time I asked for the best sellers and was told the Oreo and banana were some of the top sellers. The Oreo cheesecake was flavorful, and the banana one was decent but was hoping for more flavor on this one. The textures of the cheesecake were pretty good, I was hoping they were going to be more creamy and velvety though. The price is a little steep for the size of the slice. $7.99 per slice so it's not very wallet friendly but what isn't expensive nowadays. Probably wouldn't be rushing to come back but cool to see a whole store dedicated to cheesecakes! read more
