I don't know if it is a cultural thing of which I am unaware but I had to call any server over when I needed a refill (I waited twenty minutes to see if they would check on me) and when I needed to order dessert or pay my bill. Really good food and drinks. Most breweries won't even have a cocktail menu but Bankhead did which is a huge plus for me when I'm not in the mood for beer. The white peach sangria is really light and refreshing. The lobster mac + cheese is a must try, and trust me on this you'll want to split this with your table because it is a Texas sized serving. We had the carnivore lover which was really delicious. It was a thing crust pizza with white cheese and topped with all sorts of yummy meats. We don't come to Rowlett often but we will definitely be back here on our next trip! read more

Definitely a top favorite restaurant for me! I've been several times and never had a bad meal. The street taco pizza is awesome but so is the Locavore and the Little Piggy... it's hard to choose a favorite! The blistered Brussels sprouts and pancetta is a delicious appetizer and the brisket cheese fries are my husband's go-to. I've legit tried over half of their menu and never been disappointed. Eat outside on the dog-friendly patio if it's nice outside! And get a growler of beer to go - adios bitchachos is a personal fave. read more

I had a raccoon who was destroying my backyard so I trapped it and then we took it to Lake Rowlett to release into the wild. While there, we decided to go to downtown Rowlett and try this place on a Saturday afternoon. We sat on the patio as the weather was gorgeous. We were guided by the review from Ray F. who liked the food but found the service lacking. I concur. The beer selection is very good and I enjoyed my porter while the wife sipped her Russian Imperial Oatmeal stout. She liked it but thought her choice to go with the 4oz serving was too small. For food, we got the brisket cheese fries and they were good but pretty salty and as we ate through it became less and less pleasant. The Harvest salad was the best thing we ordered and I would get it again. The combo of dried cherries, blue cheese, bacon, and walnuts works very well. For some reason, we wanted to split a salad and the kitchen refused to divide it for us so our server brought a separate plate and we did it ourselves. I don't get the big deal. The ingredients for the Little Piggy sounded really good so we ordered it but for some reason I thought it had almost no flavor. The pie itself was rather soggy and overall it was in the bottom 1/3 of pizzas I have had in my life. Would not order again. Our server was pleasant and friendly but the kitchen seemed to be very slow. We were at the restaurant for more than an hour for lunch. It's a long time for what we ordered. Even the server was apologetic about how long our pizza took to come out. I would give this place another try if I have any more raccoons that need to be dropped off, but I would not get the brisket fries or pizza again. read more

We have been here a few times and absolutely love it! This place is a popular spot so you may have to wait Friday and Saturday nights. The vibe is casual industrial feel and it's a great place to hangout at while you wait for your table. They have corn hole games set up in the back for some fun. I would recommend get more of these types of games. There's a wait to play! We were seated by our quoted time and greeted by our server quickly. She was awesome in reading the table and getting our drinks. We ordered an appetizer to start and it came out in good time. We ordered the BLTA dip and it was so good!! Creamy and flavorful with garlic flatbread to go with it. This stuff was gone in minutes!! Three of our party shared a couple of pizzas. They got The Godfather and the Little Piggy. Loved them both! Chewy wood fire charred crust and very flavorful ingredients. I had the hot chicken and veggies and this hit the spot as well! Fresh roasted veggies and diced chicken in a spicy sauce. Good stuff!! This place is fantastic! We visited for the first time last night with a party of 8. Sunday evening at 5:20 and it was PACKED. The inside doesn't sit too many, but there are outdoor picnic tables for when the weather cooperates. The host said it was a 90 min wait; however, after about 45 minutes, they had cleared out a table inside the brewery room for us to sit. We loved the atmosphere! Our server had a great attitude and checked on us often. I don't know where to start with the orders...everything was great. The prices are a little high, but the quality of food definitely backs it up. All 8 of us thought we won with our orders. Appetizers: 4 teens ordered the cheese fries with bacon - devoured 4 adults ordered the BLT dip with flatbread - destroyed Pizza: Godfather, Street Taco, Cheese, Pepperoni, Carnivore Love, and Brown Sugar. It was all really, really good.. The crust is done perfectly...not super thick but really flavorful. Not much sauce, which is exactly how our party loves pizza. The ingredients were obviously high quality and fresh. I ordered the meatloaf - it did not disappoint. The other non-pizza order was the pork chops - also looked delicious and ended up with an empty plate. Both the white and red sangrias were tasty, as was the Adios Bitchachos (loved saying that). I am a Belgian Ale fan, and the low hood was ok. I didn't like the Cherry Hood much, but I also don't typically like dark beer...was just giving it a try. A cute local restaurant known for their brews. While we didn't come to drink, we did come to eat dinner. They have a nice patio to sit outside and enjoy a lovely Texas evening. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. They were flavorful but the tomato sauce was too sweet for my taste. We ordered the Kobe burger, lobster mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and pork chop for dinner. A good amount of food for all of us with no leftovers! Everything had amazing flavor! The only complaint was the Kobe burger. The meat was over cooked and dry. The bun was also pretty dry so it crumbled. The truffle fries that came with the burger were skinny fries with some truffle tease. I wanted more truffle flavor. Overall, a pretty good local place. Super disappointed because I really wanted to love this place. Our salad came out with half of the ingredients missing the waitress apologized and said they are still learning the new menu in the back. Ordered the steak frittata as my entree and the steak had an after taste and was not cooked the way I asked so I had 3 bites and could not stomach the taste. I spoke to my waitress about it and she apologized but did not send over a manager or discount the meal. Practically the entire plate went to the back. I paid for something I hardly touched. Great place to eat dinner and have a beer. Not so great if you aren't a regular wanting to sit in the bar and watch a game. I was watching the Rangers game for about an hour when a couple came in and asked to change the channel to the Knights/Panthers game. When I mentioned to the bartender that I was watching the game, she basically said "sorry, they asked to watch hockey." She did put it on the other TV across the bar where I couldn't see. I pulled into this brewery after a failed attempt at a coffee shop that has limited hours for COVID. I was in a rush to get my laptop open to view the San Antonio YEE with David Plantas. Turns out these guys had a patio, plenty of space to spread out and the closest thing to a XX, the Adios Muchaschas! It was very smooth, hops didn't kill the back of my throat and very crisp! Just the way I like it. I ordered a sample, took a sip and went for the big boy! A few gulps in, I had a slight buzz and super tuned in to my virtual event (probably with twitter fingers too) lol.
