This place is the real deal. Inventive and mouth watering creations that burrow into your brain. The ingredients are top notch, meat is seared to perfection and the flavors are perfectly matched and playing off each other like a symphony. The menu offers an array of mild to wild options. There's classic smash burgers with the fixings all the way to the daring fusion inventions like a Korean Reuben sandwich. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The renovated space (due to a fire in May of '22) is bright and welcoming. There's even been an addition of an outdoor seating area. Ratings were awesome and something new to try. So we grabbed a couple of things to try. Korean Spicy chicken and the chicken slider were fried to a crisp burnt that the chicken was chewy and had a burned taste. Not edible..Disappointed because the Korean spicy chicken could've been so good if it was made with some love and seasoned right, not seasoned with burnt crust. The double burger had too much going on you couldn't taste the Korean ketchup...again it could've been good if the cook loved to actually cook. The one star was for the corned beef tots, those are pretty good. Tender corned beef with a fried egg on tots with a nice gravy sauce. All in all it was a miss for us. read more

The Banh Mi tasted like pickled veggies only, The Tots lacked flavor despite being covered in spices, and the Fries were limp and covered in a runny sauce. Freshly re-opened as of today (June 5th, 2023) and Dan has not lost his edge. I got the Korean Fried chicken sandwich, as well as the Taj Mahal (It was deep fried and covered in hot honey.) They have since been demolished and they are even better than I remember them being. The new space is colorful, bright, and open. It feels much larger than it did. Omg. I had no doubt that Bao Boss wouldn't be anything other than amazing but I was not expecting this. It's SO DAMN GOOD. We were downtown and I finally remembered early enough in the day that they had changed over from Noodle Nation. We stopped by, ordered our food, and got it right in the time frame they told us despite being pretty busy. We could already smell the amazing flavors the second we got the bag in the car. Once we got home, we opened up the bag and was immediately hit with the chimichurri smell. The fries were right there calling my name. The tots too. We pulled out the burgers and I was not expecting them to be so freaking massive! Omg the flavors. My husband got The Boss, I got the Mushroom Burger with Bacon. He loved the idea of the bao bun though he did comment about it being colder than the rest of the burger - but he didn't care. He loved his. I loved mine too. The braised mushrooms and thick bacon... chef's kiss. The flavors of everything went so well together. Extra bonus points for using handmade burger patties! For the sauces, we tried the Spicy Asian Ranch and the Japanese Curry Mayo. Both out of this world good. We'll be returning often because I can't live without these burgers in my life. I don't like to be "that" person who leaves less than a 5-star review but I have to be honest. I was excited to try this place. Especially with the amazing reviews. I got the mushroom burger and fries and the Thai iced tea. The tea was delicious and I love that it's non-dairy. The burger was huge so I cut it in half. I'm not sure that was a good choice because it was really hard to eat. It's so tall!! The sauce was way too spicy for me. I couldn't taste the food so I scraped some of the sauce off. The other problem was that the bottom bun got mushy and made it even harder to eat. I should have put it on a plate rather than using the wrapper. Other than that, the flavors were great. Love those pickles, and I'm not a pickles-on-burgers person. The fries were crispy and garlicky and delicious!! A small order was plenty for me. So, I learned some things and will be better prepared next time. I'm thinking something on the bao bun. read more

I'm not sure what these guys smoke but I want some of it because their creativity is off the charts!!! Everything on the menu is unique and I intend to try it all. Today I ordered their Loco Moco burger and in spite of the fact that it didn't have rice or gravy it reminded me of the Loco Moco at Sam Choy's in Hawaii. Drive by this place all the time. Thought I'd try it for lunch. Got the double smash bacon burger with fries. Not sure if I went on a bad day, but not sure how they have 4.5 stars. Bao bunn was hard, bacon was actually thick sliced pork belly which is usually ok but this had no flavor. Spicy pickles were not spicy. Only thing that was ok on the whole burger was the patties, which were not smashed as advertised. Overall save your 20 bucks for a burger and fries. read more

Better than I thought even with the good ratings. Their pickles seem to be pickled with an additional flavor. I had a double smash burger, and also had some of the corned beef tots. Both really really delicious and tasty. Flaavor. This place provides a new taste. Something IMO this side of Everett desperately needs. I had a pickup order, and they forgot to include an item.
