(Two guys did come in later : ) -Our waitress was quite good and so were the vibes, felt high energy! -I was getting ready to order the Italian stallion (!) when my waitress asked if I wanted it hot or cold. She recommended hot and I obliged. -Spot on! The grease was... perfect. Hard to explain, but it was one of the best Sammy's I've ever had. -I asked if they have sweet tea, and she said "no," but we could make you one. You guessed it. I arrived and sat on the patio, and afterward a couple arrived and sat as well, and they ended up being served first after I'd waited several minutes. My wife says, I ordered a charcuterie board for a Halloween party and it was fantastic. We returned the board to the store and stayed for lunch. I had been searching for a cranberry turkey sandwich and Heidi's was the only place I could find one. It was so good! We also ordered the BLT and tried both the potato salad and macaroni salad. We will definitely be back for the turkey cranberry soon this season. We also look forward to taking the cousins to afternoon tea. We have been looking for a cute place that allows kids for tea. The service in restaurant was deplorable. Every server/worker walked by our table a million times without checking on us at all. Most workers were standing around just talking to each other the whole time. When our server did eventually reach our table, they just stood there and waited for us to say something. We talked to the table next to us and they were saying the same thing. Not one smile on anyone's faces. The only compliment I will give is to their food. Amazing sandwiches and cakes. We recently discovered this lovely spot & we were delighted with the extensive sandwich options! I had the Rueben, which was hands down the best of my life. The tomato soup was also delicious! The menu also has salads, flatbreads & a variety of desserts. We will be back to try the Charcuterie board as well, perfect for an early happy hour (as they close at 5). Heidi's Sandwichboard is a culinary gem located on First Street in historic downtown Snohomish. This was my first visit, never been and wasn't familiar with this spot. I was introduced to this lovely spot for a Yelp Elite event (4/5/25). Welcoming vibes from the counter staff. Aside from the complimentary half Turkey Cranberry sandwich, with pickle spear, and potato salad (usually $11.75), I also placed an additional order for the Italian Stallion ($16.75). All the lunch items were nicely prepared and boxed up for takeout. I appreciated the flatware, napkins, and everything securely bagged up. There is some outdoor seating right outside the entrance. However, there is vast interior seating and a separate tea room. The interior decor added warmth with lots of focal points and natural light. Menu has it covered with soups, salads, sandwiches, baked items, and beverages whether you dined onsite or decided on takeout. Terrific options for lunch, indulge in some wine and a charcuterie plate, or have leisurely afternoon tea service. I saw some platters being arranged and wrapped for a catering event. I opted to dine at one of the public seating spots with a great riverside view. The generous, fresh, quality ingredients were expertly prepared and definitely hit the spot. When I visited Heidi's Sandwichboard for a Yelp event, my husband tagged along. While I had my Yelp item, he bought the TunaCado sandwich with a side of soup. We loved the TunaCado sandwich, and the soup. We loved how fresh everything was. We also got a Strawberry Lemonade and enjoyed it. I came to Heidi's Sandwichboard for a Yelp Elite Experience and brought my wife along for lunch. I got my Yelp item while we bought her a BMT-Basil, Mozzarella, and Tomato full sandwich with the pasta salad and we shared a bowl of the Tomato Basil soup. Both were delicious. Totally fresh, homemade and tasty. I've never been inside Heidi's Sandwichboard but I've parked in front of it before when antiquing in the area. I remember noticing it as I LOVE sandwiches but wasn't hungry at the time so I made a mental note to try it one day. I'm very happy to have finally tried it. Inside the restaurant is very cute. The decorations over the entire business are super nice (Don't forget to check out the back room on the way to the bathrooms). It's close to Easter so the decorations were appropriate. I would describe the interior decorations as a eclectic vintage. It flows very well. I love the full sized bicycle decoration on the main dining wall in particular. The tables each had a bottle of water and glasses set on the tables so we could pour our own at our convenience. I had an organic lemonade with my meal also. We loved the food! It was very fresh and tasty. Overall, we had great service and got to meet Heidi at one point. She was very charming and told us the history of the place and some of her other ventures. Love the sandwiches here! The place is super chic and I was fascinated with some of their decor. I didn't even realize this was a sit down restaurant because i initially thought it was just like a deli. The servers were very nice and really attended to our n needs and they explained the menu pretty well. Definitely a must go to for some brunch menu and good for families. Enjoyed a Saturday lunch with my Mum at Heidi's. The place was packed at 1pm. We tried the Turkey Cranberry and the Turkey Avocado. For sides we tried the potato salad and the tomato pesto soup. The staff were so kind and attentive despite being busy. The gluten free bread was definitely the only issue with the meal. Hot soup on a cold Washington day-- there's not really much more you can ask for. I got their cup of soup and it was the perfect portion to accompany a sandwich, but you can also get a half sandwich combo with a soup or salad. I ordered the turkey cranberry with sprouts and cream cheese. And it's like a Thanksgiving leftover sandwich served on sweet bread. The turkey is piled high and had such a nice bite to it. My bestie ordered the Italian Stallion, and pro tip: you can get this sandwich heated up. The best thing about this sandwich is how they toss the lettuce in a vinaigrette. Everything is so fresh you can tell they use good ingredients. Sandwich was soft and well assembled. Pastrami piled high! Tried potato salad and tomato soup for the first time. The soup is really creamy and rich with full of flavor. I really like this soup. No wonder it's popular. The potato salad was a little bland but would go well with sandwich with strong flavor. My friend and I spent the day shopping in Snohomish on Saturday and decided to stop into this sandwich shop for some food to go. I had been there a few times before and had always enjoyed it, so I was actually the one raving to my friend about how good the place was and suggesting we go there. We spent around $65 on our order, and I even left a generous tip. While waiting for our food, we asked if we could sit at one of the many empty tables since the restaurant was only about half full. We were told by who I believe was the owner that we could not sit at a table because they were "running food" and it made things too difficult, and instead were told to sit on the bench by the door. The problem was the bench was already full, so we were left standing there waiting for our order with nowhere to sit. Honestly, it was embarrassing after I had talked the place up so much to my friend. It was disappointing because there were plenty of empty tables available and we were paying customers simply waiting for our food. Wish I could give 4.5. Just a tip- if you are in a hurry, get the food to go. We had a 10-15 min wait for a party of two around noon on a Thursday. Food took more than 35 mins after ordering. Felt like a very long time for a sandwich. Server was friendly though! Atmosphere is very cute and would be nice for a lunch or afternoon tea. Tomato soup was delicious! Flavorful and rich. The Italian coffee was amazing! I like the café style and the cakes look amazing, but it didn't get a chance to try it. Maybe next time. I thought of the portions were a little small, but we're good the soup taste a little thick. And I love that the fruit salad had kiwi! Two main complaints are the slow service time and the portion size for the price. Everything was very slow to come out and the wait staff seemed indifferent. It only took 7-10 mins for my food to be ready. They packaged the sandwich up perfectly with the oil and vinegar on the side so the sandwich does not get too soggy - that is a pro move. Oyster crackers came with the soup. One of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had! Hefty portion, delicious balance between the meats, cheese and mayo. Yum!
