Came here for lunch with my precious grandparents - this is there go to Mexican restaurant. It was so yummy! They gave us free chips with beans on it, queso on the bottom and lettuce with tomatoes to start off. The chips & salsa (red & green) we're both delicious. We got an order of beef & chicken fajitas and shared. It was so good! Their corn and flour tortillas were tasty & authentic too. Will definitely be back in the future. Oh and almost forgot - they have free vanilla ice cream machine with a cone too!!

It was my first time visiting the establishment, they have a separate cantina next door that connects to the diner place. The restaurant has a decent size and it is well maintained. Our waitress seen bothered when we will ask her for stuff, I'm assuming because we had a big party she was a little frustrated? Who knows, but the manager ended up taking our orders and he did not write down anything and no order was messed up, I have to say I was impressed. So now for the good part I ordered their " Best Hamburger" and I have to say it was delicious! I have tried other burgers but this one was really special and the friends made it better. They also have complimentary ice cream cones. The other photos were from my friends and they weren't really happy, I do not recommend their lemonade! Another thing I would also like to add they don't have aguas frescas, I was really disappointed.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night. There was no wait and barely anyone inside around 8 pm. We were sat at a booth and served hot chips and salsa. The chips were very fresh and delicious. The salsa wasn't my favorite, it's that more authentic, watery kind of red salsa. I was a little disappointed they didn't bring out green salsa too because that's my favorite! We ordered the Mango margarita and the Patron Margarita. Both were great, especially the Patron Margarita! Not too sweet just like I like it. To eat we had the mixed chicken and beef fajitas. It was served with guacamole, pico, rice, and beans. Shredded cheese was extra. The corn tortillas were NOT homemade which was another let down for me since I love corn tortillas. But the chicken and beef fajitas were great. They had a guy playing mariachi type music for the first half of the time we were there. It was a good atmosphere and service was great. However, what would have made this place 5-star worthy would have been adding green salsa and homemade corn tortillas, and also not charging extra for some shredded cheese or a side of corn tortillas that we asked fo

Great Tex Mex, good margaritas, Fridays can get a little crazy with unsupervised kids everywhere, easy to escape by eating in the bar.

The chicken enchiladas are bland, way too much cheese and no type of red sauce. The queso was okay at best.

The chips were fresh and the salsa had a nice flavor definitely a great way to kick off the meal. I ordered the strawberry margarita and it was refreshing, smooth, and hit the spot! We also tried the queso. It was okay, but if you're looking for a more traditional Mexican-style queso, just know this one leans more toward the Velveeta-style cheese dip. My niece ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and gave them a thumbs up! She said they were flavorful and really enjoyed them. (No picture) The atmosphere was a highlight for me. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio overlooks the lake, creating a relaxing vibe that's perfect for enjoying a meal and drinks. A special shoutout to our server, Jeanette (I believe that was her name)! She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Overall, this is a really nice spot with good food, great service, and beautiful views. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. I've got my eye on the octopus next time! I'll keep y'all posted. #LoveJonesEats

The space itself is massive with plenty of indoor seating, so even with the usual Sunday crowd, we got a table without any long, drawn-out wait. The atmosphere is completely laid back, loud, and smells like pure garlic and butter the second you walk through the door. For the main event, I went with the Combo #10, which comes loaded with a half-pound of snow crab legs, a half-pound of headless shrimp, a half-pound of sausage, three boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes. I opted for the signature Juicy Crab seasoning at the hot level. My baseline for heat is naturally pretty high, and while this didn't have me sweating, it had a legit, beautiful kick with serious depth. It wasn't just mindless spice; the garlic-heavy cajun blend was firing on all cylinders, and every single thing in that bag was perfectly saturated. The crab was sweet and slid right out of the shell, and the sausage added a great smoky contrast to the seafood. Because we clearly have no portion control, we also shared the shrimp fried rice. Usually, side dishes at boil joints are a dry afterthought, but this was surprisingly elite. It was savory, packed with a generous amount of shrimp, and served as the perfect canvas to pour the leftover bag juice over. By the end of the meal, the table was a complete disaster, but the flavor and execution were top-tier. I will absolutely be back to handle business again.

My order was for one of the lunch specials which was a cup of seafood gumbo and 1/2 poboy (crawfish) with fries for $15. The seafood gumbo was very good tasting with a rich roux taste but it had 2 or 3 shells in it. The 1/2 po boy was the same with quality bread, fried crawdads and dressed well. The fries are also always a winner. Deb was my waiter and was very professional. I've had this lunch at the other locations and it was equally good. I like Floyd's and believe they serve very good seafood. I wish their regular dinner entrees weren't so expensive. Drinks came out, then the oysters -- and right after serving them, she told us that was the last batch and they were out. Seemed strange given their menu has several baked oyster options, but we figured maybe they'd genuinely run low. The dining area feels like an old diner with a bar on one sides. Outdoor seating looks fun on a cooler day with some tv to watch sports. A little later we noticed other tables getting oysters, so we asked a different server. She said they'd likely just gotten backed up with orders, then came back and confirmed they'd brought out another sack and we could order more. Right on cue, our original waitress reappeared asking if we wanted more oysters -- the same ones she'd just told us were gone. When we pointed out the contradiction, she flat out denied ever saying they'd run out. Food-wise: raw oysters were just okay, fried pickles were decent, and the wings were actually good. I was open to coming back to try more of the menu, but the service really soured the experience. Being upsold or brushed off with an obvious lie isn't a good look. A lie on top of a lie did it for me. I hope they train their server's better.
