The Fried Pickles were extra salty. I even told our server. Mind you, I add salt to all my food and this was definitely TOO salty. I barely could eat half of it. I kept dipping it in the sauce given and Ranch Dressing to offset the saltiness. Now, the kicker that left me a bit disappointed. Lesson learned in my part. I ordered Crown on the Rocks. Popped in for HH on Wednesday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant was mostly empty. You seat yourself and a server comes up to you. We ordered the tots, a wedge salad, and three sliders: Bar Code, Blueberry Pig BBQ, and Green Chile. Hubs got a glass of the Atomic Duck. The toppings on the tots are what you'd put on a baked potato. The tots were crispy but overall, we thought the dish was bland. It needed some oomph. The wedge salad was standard fare. The sliders came with a side of fries that were nice and crisp. Of the 3, we liked the Green Chile and Bar Code. We found the Blueberry Pig to be a bit too sweet. However, the beef in all three were overcooked. But I find that almost always to be the problem with sliders. Service was passible. Our server was nice but she was basically the only one on the floor so it took her awhile to circle back for things. We may come back and give this another try to see if the experience is better. read more

Perfect amount of chicken, buffalo sauce and ranch up top. Their wings are perfectly cooked. They were crispy and the garlic parm sauce was not over powering like other restaurants. Mediocre. I wanted to watch the Warriors vs Suns game before hitting the strip and so I found this place. The photos on yelp seemed promising of what to expect. They have a lot of tv's and a huge drink selection. It wasn't crowded which allowed for us to be seated anywhere and the staff was able to cut the game on for me at a tv near our table. I ordered the pineapple Hefeweizen beer which was light and fruity. It was good! We ordered the appetizer sample which came with chicken quesadillas (had little to no chicken inside), fried cheese curds (really good), fried pickles (good but can get salty if you eat too many), and boneless chicken (decent). The items from the platter reminded me of frozen foods that were just warmed up. Especially the chicken quesadilla. I ordered the fries that has cheese sauce & fried buffalo chicken pieces on top, but I swapped the fries for tots. It was gross. I had them take it back. The cheese sauce was orange but didn't taste like cheese and they had ranch on it too. And barely any chicken. It was horrible. My friends ordered a burger and said the meat was dry. Epic bar food! I've had Bar Code on my bookmarks for awhile & finally stopped by for dinner after picking up my boo from the airport. The inside looks like a standard sports bar, nothing fancy. The food was the best part. It was hard to pick which burger we wanted since they all sounded amazing. We settled on the bar code which we split. It was so good! The bun was buttery & soft, the meat was tender & the bleu cheese gave it that little extra hmmmph. We also couldn't pass up the spicy cheese curds. We're from Wisconsin & "spicy" cheese curds were a first for us. We really liked them. I was impressed with the drinks too. I had a michelada with an added tequila shot & it tasted great. Again, very good quality beef, crisp bacon/onion rings, cheese and egg over easy. That bun, really held up with each bite. Bar Code Chicken sandwich: Ok, the Yelp pics and what was served were ... Night-an-Day. Perhaps the chicken filet we were served just came back from boot camp ... you know, thin looking. For me, this was the weak link of all the sandwiches we tried. We had some things to pick up on Maryland Parkway and it was lunch time so we read the reviews on Bar Code and decided to try it. The place was not busy which concerned us. The outside is a little dumpy but the inside is a high quality sports bar. We discovered the place is a gem. The hamburgers are large and very tasty. The onion rings were exceptional. Although we had a traditional hamburger the menu was full of gourmet type specialty burgers. So, I started eyeballing the food that others ordered and the only word that comes to mind is "impressive." We will definitely eat here any time we are in that part of town. It wasn't busy, but IMHO, if this place was located on Water Street in Henderson or any other busy street out in the "burbs" this place would be packed. The buffalo sauce had a nice little kick to it and the chicken pieces for real flavored - 3.5/5.0. Loved the Bar Code Burger. The bacon aoili and thousand idlands dressing paired well together. I sat at a table and she said she would get the waitress. Kaitlyn waited on me and did a great job, very polite, courteous, and professional. Both employees offered great customer service. I ordered the 6 wings ($12.95) and the blueberry Big BBQ burger ($19.45). And a Pepsi. This place is not cheap, but both products were great. I thought for $20, the burger should have had 8 oz. of meat instead of 6 oz. The actual food cost would be minimal, yet have a significantly better appearance and taste.
