So even if you like to sleep in you can still enjoy breakfast for lunch. We always prefer to support local family owned businesses over corporate options. The Chicago Loop Sports Bar is a fun entertaining establishment that you really want to stay in business for years to come! Everytime we come here we see someone we know and all the food has been delicious too. They have booth seating to the left of the entrance and larger tables to the right. They also have tall tables and a stage and lots of TV's. The waitresses / bartenders are the nicest people! I love that they have food specials and they change weekly. They even have a Turkey dinner (Holiday Dinner) and a Bourbon Pecan Pie option for dessert. So there is no reason why you cannot celebrate Thanksgiving this year! Make sure you check their website often for the entertainment schedule. They have karaoke, singo (bingo using songs) and bands. They have a jukebox, dart games, and more. It is a family friendly establishment.

It's got a lot of great specials to choose from. They're known for Bloody Marys and mimosas so this is an okay place for women. A pretty big menu to look at. They even have breakfast and late night options. It's $5 to get margaritas on Tuesdays, and vodka mixers on Fridays. The food menu is massive. A lot of plant based options. It's about $15 to get The Veganator. A big ass burger that's plant based. This has avocado, cheese substitute, and pico de gallo. A lot more options to choose from. There's everything from nachos to tacos and other Mexican type of stuff. Get lots of stuff to drink and eat. It's located on Hassell in the one plaza. There's tons of options for vegans.

A friend and I finally stopped in for a drink and a catch up. Originally I went inside, which is pretty divey... ok, the whole place is divey (full disclosure: I like divey!). But we ended up going out back to their beer garden. It wasn't busy when we were there (weekday evening) so we were able to enjoy a nice and chill atmosphere. The drinks are relatively cheap and the staff was friendly to us the whole time - what more could you ask for from a dive bar?! While I can't say that it is like this all the time (I honestly wonder what Friday & Saturday nights are like...) I can say that we enjoyed ourselves. In the future I don't think I'll be rushing back here, but this was by no means my only visit to Prairie Station Pub.
