An experience like Victoria & Albert's demands you to transcend the idea of food as nourishment while, in tandem, requiring you to strip down your familiarity with eating and re-enter your body with childlike curiosity. I attended Victoria & Albert's, celebrating a dear family friend in the private room. Places set for 11 people under the mantle-hung wedding portrait of Victoria and Albert. Our menu was curated specially for us by the chef, based on Tim's picks from his previous trip here. Eleven courses, with a wine pairing for each. Our host, Israel, said it cost $40,000 to set the table for our evening. This included the glassware, titanium silverware, Gucci bread plates, mother of pearl caviar spoons, and all of the special things in between. Each course was prefaced with an in-depth explanation on its preparation and the inspiration by the chefs. The sommelier, Sean, explained his pairing for each course as well. We all agreed that the Sancerre served with the cucumber dish was especially outstanding. They started out by bringing us a glass of blue liquid (my Windex joke did not land), then added something to make it purple. This was a non-alcoholic palette cleansing situation. The amuse bouche followed, three bites of insanely complex flavors, all delicious. [See the menu photo I've attached for specifics, please.] Next course was caviar, over a web of something cacao and ancho chili. Presentation was immaculate and precise for everything. Next, the cold salad course, creamy crab covered in cucumber. The following dish was the stand out for me. Glacier 51 Toothfish. Some antarctic, scaly thing that never sees the light of day and needs a catchier name. This fish was the creamiest, most delicious fish I've ever had in my life. It was like butter, and perfectly cooked. The leeks surrounding it were mild and garlicky. There was a slight asparagus taste, but no asparagus. Maybe one day I'll learn to scuba dive and go meet Mr. Glacier 51. Next was a scallop. I'm not a scallop fan, but this was incredible. Ate every bite. (I ate every bite of everything.) The bread they served was a focaccia with incredible large bubbles and a flaky sea salt on top. I could have eaten an entire (loaf? insert unit of focaccia here) of it. The butter was tasty and of course the perfect temperature for spreading. The duck and lamb were incredible, but the real star of the red meats was, of course, the A-5 Wagyu. The edges were gorgeously crisped, and the inside melted in my mouth. Far cry from the cast-iron seared strip steaks I do at home. At this point in the dinner, we were all poured a glass of champagne, and escorted to the courtyard of the Grand Floridian to watch the fireworks over Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom. An incredible interlude, and frankly, welcomed, as this is a long dinner. The coffee and dessert courses were, naturally, not my usually Ben & Jerry's. I don't think Ben and/or Jerry have much in common with Victoria and/or Albert. I love an olive oil cake, but I'm not sure the grapefruit pairing will be one I pursue with it in the future. Throughout the dinner, we tried multiple cocktails. Manhattans, bacon old fashions, and the clarified espresso martini. The explanation on this really went over my head, but they kept saying something about 'wagyu washed beans.' Record scratch, freeze frame to my Alabama voice saying: "Y'all got cows back there doing the dishes?!" Sorry, chef, you're not the only one cooking tonight. All in all, Victoria & Albert's is an incredible experience. Hospitality out the wahzoo. Luxury in spades. Chef sent us home with a copy of our menu in a pearl envelop and a package of rum raisin cookies for the next morning.

What an experience. I was able to snag a reservation by calling 60 days out in the Queen Victoria Room. We arrived a little early so we sat down right outside the restaurant in this little lounge area.someone came out and greeted us and escorted us to the room. Only a limited number of tables but the door remained open where there was a harp player and music drifted softly into the room. A team dedicated to the room itself introduced themselves and provided outstanding service throughout the meal. We were provided a personalized menu and I enjoyed every aspect of this meal. The wine pairing was definitely worth it and you are served a plentiful amount. I really don't think there was anything I didn't enjoy and was pretty full by the end of it. Everything was cooked beautifully. I enjoyed the Tooth fish and the Scallops and all the meat courses were so tender and flavorful. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. If you can get a reservation for here, I highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant with my parents to celebrate my mother's birthday. As someone who has frequented multiple Michelin Star restaurants around the world, this one was great. The ambiance was very calming, there was a harpist playing throughout the night. We were well received and greeted by the staff. I lived the water service. We all opted for the longer chefs tasting menu. The food was all amazing and all dietary restrictions were adhered to. The wine pairings were good. Although I enjoyed the experience, unlike other Michelin stars I've visited, I did not have a strong urge to return to relive the experience. I definitely recommend experiencing this restaurant at least once.

Tasting Menu Dinner at Victoria & Albert's After our respective Animal Kingdom Park and Animal Kingdom Resort day, we all meet up for our FINAL dinner at Disney World at Victoria and Albert's! It's been nearly 25 years since I've had the privilege of dining at this Michelin starred restaurant! I feel truly blessed to be able to share this incredible experience with Aleesha, Jimmy and Jon! We opted for a 12 course tasting menu, Jon had a pescatarian 12 course tasting menu while the four of us shared one organic wine pairing and one zero proof pairing! The abundance of exquisite cuisine was a true testament to the culinary expertise! It was a truly transcendent dining experience! With excellent service and wonderful ambiance!

Fine dining meets the magic and service of Disney at Victoria and Albert's at Disney's beautiful Grand Floridian hotel. We enjoyed a 10 course meal with wine pairings and, of course, fireworks over Cinderella's castle. Truly, no words to express the elegance of this experience, as well as the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. They pulled out all the stops to provide a once in a lifetime experience for guests.

Victoria & Albert's recently just got awarded their first Michelin Star. I've been to many One, Two, and Three Star restaurants before, and I am actually a little offended for V&E's that they didn't get Two Stars. The attention to detail, the focus they put on their drink pairings, and the quality of the food honestly is on par with Three Star restaurants. But I guess I understand Michelin not wanting to go from zero to two or three right off the bat. But if the 2025 list still has them at One Star, I'm going to be mad. For many people in Florida, this is going to be the nicest meal of their life. Let's dig into why a little bit. First of all, the ambiance is exquisite. All of the tables are so large, but simultaneously spaced so far apart from each other. It's a full dining room, but it feels like your own personal private dining room with your own live harp player. Second of all, the service is unparalleled. Not only do you have your own server, but you have other servers that are dedicated to only one other thing, like drinks, or snacks, or the dining room manager coming over to check in on you. Your every need really is catered to. Now, the food. I'm not going to go into every course, because there are way too many, but I will note some highlights and reasons to drop the cash to come here. So the Zero-Proof Beverage pairing is phenomenal. They have undergone so much effort to ensure that these beverages aren't just different mixings of fruit juices. They have fermented things and zero-proof wines and specialty brewed teas. Each drink is unique and complex. I'm very happy that I did this pairing. Next, there is a choice to make. The short or the long tasting menu. I can't recall what options are missing from the short menu, but honestly, if you're coming to a place like this, don't skimp. In for a penny, in for a pound. Some of the courses are full courses, and some of them are snacks. I love the elevation of the snack, though. For example, the caviar and celery root course is served in a fun chips 'n' dip presentation. I loved it. The next few courses are amazing seafood dishes. A nice king crab and a nice bass dish. Some of the best seafood I've ever had in Orlando. And then, the main event of seafood, the uni pasta dish. Very unctuous. Then comes a nice hunk of bread as a halftime event between the surf and the turf of the meal. The first turf dish was probably my favorite of the whole evening. A perfectly cooked piece of quail with a faux-risotto made from sunflower seeds. Very fun. Very full of flavors and textures I've never had before. This was my main event. Next was a nice lamb dish and what they probably consider the main event, the A-5 Wagyu. It was a nice Wagyu. This is the main event at most traditional tasting menu restaurants, though, so it lacked that uniqueness. Not a bad thing, though. Then came a nice cheese course to prepare us for the dessert courses. They are served simultaneously with a magically coffee preparation at tableside that's a lot of fun to watch. The main dessert is a thing I've never heard of before, but it's basically a filled ball/cream puff thing that's filled with some of the most delicious pretzel-based filling I've ever had. So good. A few more little desserts more, and you're done! One of the best meals of my life. I have nothing more to say about this place. If you can swing it, and swing it right, come on in. It's worth it.

Pros: Wow. Just wow. Ambiance is stellar. The dining room is huge and private all at the same time. Peace and quite and a private harp player. The service is the best you're ever going to have. Well-choreographed. Different servers waiting for specific points in your meal to act and do their part. TLC from everyone you meet, making you feel really special. The food, it's just killer. Lovely little bites of amuse bouche, very fun and high quality snacks, incredibly well cooked cuts of meat with just perfect sides, and an amazing dessert that I will remember forever. Cons: There's literally not a con. The con goes to the Michelin Guide who only gave them ONE star. Shame. Tips: The main tip is to just come. It's worth it, I promise. But the other tip would be to get the zero proof beverage pairing. It was the most impressive one of those I have ever seen. These guys are putting expert craftmanship into every one of these things, and they pair perfectly with each course they were presented with.

Disney's legendary classy Victoria & Albert's Dining Room is located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We dined under the grand rotunda dome in The Dining Room at Victoria & Albert's. This elegant space is reminiscent of a garden, from its Victorian-themed murals and wallcoverings to the graceful flowers and butterflies that adorn the ceiling. Service, Food, & Ambiance were all amazing! Make sure to get reservations for Victoria & Albert's far in advance, as this place has a wait list most of the year!

Victoria and Alberts tagline (in my mind): "Be our guest, be our guest, put our service to the test!" It's a real life Beauty and the Beast be our guest experience. Simply magical. Every time. Yes, it is $$$$. Like $300+ per person. If you enjoy fine dining, and particularly a Michelin dining experience, it is a bargain for the quality of imaginative food, and the three star level service (V&A currently has one Michelin star and deserves so many more). The experience takes approximately three hours. Be prepared to miss the MK fireworks, unless you excuse yourself to use the restroom and peek out the Citricos windows. Do this anyway because the hallway to the bathrooms is amazing. Be sure to order coffee or tea at the end for a fun surprise.

The world has changed since I last dined at Victoria & Albert's. 2024, the prices have been raised and there is less of an offering to the patrons. At the end of our meal, I was thinking about the next time we will return. Service? Impeccable. My wife & I were assigned two wait staff to accommodate every course of our dining experience. Ambiance? White glove. Now add the harpist playing Disney songs? This is an experience that you will not have at a typical Michelin star restaurant. Cocktails? Expensive. But the attention to detail in each ingredient was carefully selected. I must point out, after I finished my outrageous Old Fashioned with Bourbon soaked in bacon fat, I would like a bold glass of wine. The restaurant has a wine paring offering with each course. Me personally, there is no need for me to drink all that alcohol. I'm on a romantical date with my wife so I respectfully ask for the wine by the glass menu. I noticed the reds by the glass didn't offer a Barolo? My server was so skilled in customer service that she opened a bottle of Barolo Nebbiolos that wasn't offered on the menu. Each course was masterfully prepared. My wife asked at the end of the evening what was my favorite bite. Actually, my first bite wasn't a bite but a drink. It was served in a tea cup with warm spices and cloves. It set the mood for the entire meal. And what a meal! The Lamb had me swooning, the caviar was exquisite and the spaghetti topped with shaved black truffles had me at hello. I've dined here multiple time and so far, everything seems pretty normal. Now the bill comes. wait what? It's all over, that's it!? What about the homemade granola for the next day? Or the chocolate truffle tasting?? Even the coffee machine was different, it was less wonka and more Bunsen burner. LIke a science experiment that they use in laboratory equipment. Is less more in 2024? I'll keep coming back, Victoria & Albert's is still an unforgettable dining experience.

Absolutely wonderful and truly an unforgettable evening. I've been meaning to write this review for some time now. From the moment you arrive, you are warmly greeted and escorted into the most beautiful dining room. The entire experience was amazing. The food--well, your palate will be treated to some of the best flavors you'll ever experience. Every course was a delight, and the staff made us feel like royalty. We have dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, and this one stands out as truly fantastic. The young lady at the harp set the perfect ambiance, and every detail of the evening was exquisite. Sharing a few pictures, though they hardly capture how special the night was.

It was everything we expected but not necessarily all good. We ordered the larger menu. The chef did an amazing job altering menu for my shellfish allergy. Service was excellent although they say your full name in EVERY interaction which becomes annoying after 3.5 hours. Yes, this is a ridiculously long dining experience. You get plenty of food in never ending courses. The food is exceptional, but can be too decadent for this many courses. After 2-3 hours, you just want to go home. But, you still have 90 minutes! Caviar, yellowtail, lamb - amazing. A-5 Wagyu was too rich for us. Basically a cube of beef fat. Sometimes the protein was so perfect, all the sauces and fancy stuff ruined it. The scallop was PERFECT until they put a sweet apple cider sauce on it. Cheese course was a ball of goat cheese. The Gouda crackers were amazing, the flavors of the sauce/foam were amazing. The goat cheese was goat cheese. The dining room was actually bland and boring. It looks unfinished with large blank walls and monotone colors. Tables were sparse with no center pieces or flowers. Minimalist is fine for IKEA, but not V&As. Come for a very special occasion. It'll be $500-$700 per person easy. Could be best dining experience in Central Florida. Come hungry. Plan on 3-4 hours. Be prepared for very rich/decadent experience. We left a little too full and a little underwhelmed.

Cannot say enough about this restaurant and the experience we had there. Our servers were Al and Amy. They were so helpful and answered any/all questions we could have. The food was amazing and though they were such small portions we were incredibly full by the end of the night. I opted for the homemade non-alcoholic pairing option. Each of them were delicious and I was given some extra sips whenever I mentioned I enjoyed them. The wagu and "egg" were my favorite. The restaurant was extremely accommodating of my allergies and foods we mentioned not liking. Every plate was truly better than the last. It was not a cheap meal, but one of the best I have ever had in my life. The restaurant is small and quiet. There is a harp player playing all night and even the bathroom immaculate. Perhaps a once in a lifetime meal, but absolutely a meal I will not forget soon.

Ask the Community - The Dining Room at Victoria & Albert’s

Does the menu price include gratuities and taxes?

    No it does not.

How can you make a reservation ? They put me on hold for 2:30 hrs then hang up on me

I would check out the my Disney experience app before calling back. I have also had some luck using third party sites such as open table to make reservations.

Would this be ok to take kids (ages 9, 11, and 12)?

9 is not allowed, no one under 10. 11 and 12 probably won't appreciate it.

I understand it is 7 courses but with such small portions is it common to leave hungry?

Hi! Please know that you won't leave hungry at all. In additon, as of last year everyone dining at Victoria & Albert's has a 10-course menu and they do accomodate allergies and food restrictions. In addition to the 10-courses, there are typically 3…

    Only pre fixed meal?

Yes. They ask you if you have restrictions (vegetarian, for instance) when you call for reservation. There's no a la carte.

Jacket optional? Flying in with only a carryon and don't want to carry a suit coat.

Just dined on Thursday... For men, jackets are required but ties are optional.

    Do they offer breakfast/brunch?

    No just dinner

Has anyone dined at the chef's table?

Yes! It was the perfect dining experience! All of the chefs were wonderful, attentive and engaging. The food was delicious beyond anything imaginable!

    Does the bathroom smell good?

I was skeptical that a hotel restaurant can be this good, but this place did not disappoint. You…read moreget a 3-course prix fixe dinner. The menu rotates occasionally. I chose the spicy kazan roll for app, pork tenderloin for main, and a creme brulee for dessert. Others at my table got the flatbread with duck, so I was able to try some of that too. Spicy kazan roll can be seen as a bit basic (and it doesn't rival some of the amazing CA sushi), but it's like getting 2 entrees with the sushi and pork tenderloin, so can't complain there. Pork was perfectly cooked and I loved the goat cheese polenta, gave the creamy polenta a complex flavor. Creme brulee was so rich and custardy delicious. I couldn't finish this one, but I'm glad I tried it. Ambiance cannot be beat. The window view is beautiful, and it's delightful to see a castle right outside.

Coco Chanel is famous for saying, "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least…read moreone thing off." I believe the culinary world could take this advice with plates at the pass. Look at it, take one thing off. This is especially true for the California Grill atop Disney's first WDW hotel, the Contemporary Resort. In a world of micro-greens, pea purée, "summer sauces" and 8-10 other ingredients on a single plate, removing one might make the best difference--and wouldn't be missed! Service 5 stars (thanks, Jim!), plating 4 stars, taste 2 stars (avoid the surf and turf--very "fishy" and had to be replaced with the ravioli), timing and temperature 2 stars (pork was a bit under and the goat cheese polenta was cold). And don't make the mistake I did in getting 2 dishes with goat cheese, "Ugh!" I loved the idea of a fresh, seasonal, fusion menu, but this meal was way oversold. At $99/person (plus enhancements, think $10/scallop), this 3-course meal just seriously missed the mark. If this review required a title, it would be "Over-complicated," all the way down to the unnecessary white chocolate disc under the crème brûlée (for the love of all that is sweet, why??). First and last for me at California Grill.

The service was awesome - from being welcomed, to our lovely server, to the server who delivered our lobster bisque with a fun monologue - definitely a great example of Disney service. I started with a key lime pie martini, and it was very well balanced and not too sweet despite its name! I'd definitely order again. The fresh bread service was a great way to start the meal, and we picked some delicious apps. The calamari was a win for my boyfriend, and the shrimp and grits was really awesome - I'm not a grits gal by nature, but the flavors here were really excellent. We also shared a lobster bisque, and it was the perfect flavor profile. I went with the surf and turf, which was exactly what I wanted it to be (it is a splurge!). The steak was great - I stand by that there are plenty of great steaks that are not at any of the steakhouses on property. The gulf shrimp pasta tasted like true homemade pasta and was also awesome! No notes, truly. The almond crusted cheesecake stole the show for dessert, but the key lime pie was great too. An awesome meal all around!

The restaurant itself is charming, coastal, but not stuffy. The sweeping view of the lake and Magic Kingdom is dreamy. Time your dinner reservation so dessert is around the time of the fireworks for an even more magical experience. You can step outside where they pipe in the music. The view is dreamy. Our server, Marselle, was excellent. She was so friendly and made our meal even more special. She provided such excellent recommendations, I think we went with them all. I started off with the sangria. It was so refreshing. We ordered the seafood charcuterie which was so unique that I'll claim it as a must do. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread with it. All three items in the charcuterie were delicious! My main course was the Gulf shrimp bucatini. It was a more-than-ample serving of perfectly cooked pasta, a delicious sauce, and fresh large shrimp. I've had this dish at several restaurants, and this dish was a star at Narcoossee's. After watching the Happily Ever After fireworks, we capped our fabulous meal with the must have almond cheesecake. It's SO good. The cake is decadent and surrounded by chocolate coral. Save some room for this dessert! Marselle and other staff made my birthday dinner super special. I think I have a new favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World!

As a group of returning customers, we were also disappointed that no effort was made to accommodate us. We've supported this restaurant year after year, and we expected a more welcoming experience, especially as loyal guests. We had a dinner res/planned visit in November 2022 which was sidelined/greatly postponed due inclement weather produced by Hurricane Nicole. As a precaution, all dinner reservations that night after 6:00pm were cancelled (our was at 6:15pm). Thankfully, during our visit last November 2025, we were able to secure at dinner res for 6:00pm....and we hoped everything would go as planned. And rightly so, as the weather forecast was hot and sunny that day. We checked in for our dinner res about 15 minutes prior, and were able to wait in their lobby/waiting area. NOTES 1. Reservation made via the My Disney Experience App. 2. The food/menu is Thanksgiving all day everyday! It's also AYCE....with dessert included! The AYCE menu includes: 1. Declaration Salad: greens, apples, cranberries, and cheese with House-made dressing 2. Patriot's Platter: roasted turkey, pot roast, pork loin, mashed potatoes, vegetables, herbed stuffing, and mac and cheese. 3. Dessert: Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake ( vanilla toffee cake, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream). 4. House-made gravy and dinner rolls. We also ordered Coke Zero for our drinks. Interestingly enough, we really enjoyed the salad, it was such a great start to the meal. We nearly finished the portion, but we absolutely wanted to save room the main dishes. The Stars (and stripes) of the meal were the turkey, pork loin, and stuffing. Honorable mention goes to the dessert! That Oooey Gooey Toffee was so good, but sadly we were so FULL by the time dessert was served. We did eat a few bites, but perhaps we should have saved more stomach space for this sweet treat. We barely touched the mac and cheese honestly. We did want to try it.....it was just ok. SERVICE Our server was a lovely older female, who was so kind and friendly to us and all the tables she was serving in our area. She had such a kind and grandmotherly attitude and aura about her. However, she sometimes forgot to bring the food and drink "refills" we requested. We probably would have had more time to enjoy our dessert if the primary food refills were given sooner. It also took a while to get the check, and we had to rush out of the restaurant to make our lightning lane reservation for Troy: Light Cycle Run. BOTTOM LINE I'm glad we finally had our long delayed meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Was it worth the wait? I believe so. We really enjoyed the food overall. Also, I'd recommend arriving hungry or partially starving since the food is AYCE. Lastly, save room for dessert! You'll thank me later.

My only gripe was they were pretty heavy-handed with the ice, which left me with more diluted coffee than I bargained for so I'd you're an iced coffee purist, don't be shy about asking for light ice. That said, the experience was quick, easy, and painless if you're looking to get your caffeine fix before a full day in the parks. The space itself has a really nice ambience that fits the Polynesian's theming well. Being a newer concept, it feels fresh and polished without the wear you see at some of the older resort quick-service spots. Would I come back? Probably, especially for convenience if I'm already over at the Poly. Just going to ask for easy ice next time!

After we ordered, it took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. Once we got it, our server rarely came back to check on us. My wife didn't get a single drink refill the entire meal, and it was hard to get anyone's attention when we needed something. What should have been about an hour turned into a two-and-a-half-hour meal. That being said, the atmosphere here is still one of the best at Disney. The restaurant is beautifully themed, the lodge setting is warm and inviting, and it's easy to see why so many families love coming here. The playful servers, the ketchup bottle fun, and all the interaction with guests make it a great place for families. It's the kind of restaurant where everyone, from little kids to grandparents, can have a good time. I honestly think our server may have just been having an off day, because our first visit was fantastic. We won't let one experience keep us from coming back, and we're looking forward to giving it another try.
